A 68-year-old 'voyeuristic sexual deviant' has been jailed in France for drugging his wife so that strangers could rape her over the course of 10 years.

Police say the man slipped tranquilizers into his wife's food and waited for her to pass out, before bringing in strangers he had contacted online to abuse her while he filmed it and sometimes joined in.

All the attacks took place in the couple's marital home in the town of Mazan, south of France, between 2010 and 2020, police say. A total of 49 suspects have been identified so far, with 33 jailed and nine currently under arrest.

Cops say the woman - now 61 - had no idea what was happening until they showed her tapes of herself being abused, which her husband kept on his computer.

The husband is now facing up to 20 years behind bars. The wife, who has children though it is not clear if they are from this relationship, has filed for divorce.

The case only came to light because the man had been arrested in September last year for taking up-skirt photos of women in a supermarket in a nearby town.

If I were her I'd have blood on my hands. I don't know that I could honestly let him take another breath after finding this out. Perhaps he was already in jail and that would be the only way he's be spared of my wrath.

Edit: Sorry, not sorry. I'm an empath and that is not always a good thing, especially when it comes to victims of crimes such as this.

OMG - I would die. I would just curl up and die. That poor woman. Because if someone was slipping me tranquilizers, I would be out for 10-15 hours. Which is why I rarely take the things... :oops:

Presuming that she is telling the truth of course.
 
How could she be raped and not wake up sore bruised possibly bleeding and she would have gogo juices leaking out.. she's okay with her husband taking advantage of her when she's knocked out just not others.. I'd try to cut everyone of those MFs.. would be interesting to know if the husband got paid good money for it and maybe she consented to being drugged and didn't realize the extent of it till the videos.. oh and her reputation is at stake as well..

Exactly what I was thinking, I would absolutely know if I'd been raped no matter how far out of it I was. And yeah, there's the go-go juice (I love that), and waking up feeling yucky and sticky and smelling of man sweat. Yeah I would absolutely know that something happened to me that I didn't consent to.
 
I honestly think it would depend on what type of tranquilizers he had access to. I also wonder if she was on other meds that would intensify the effects of said tranquilizers or vice versa.
There are people (myself included) where a simple prescription of Gabapentin (Neurontin) for my neuropathy will make me sleep 3 days at a time. My rx is for 300 mg 3x daily. I can't even take a single dose...just one pill around 6 PM puts me out until noon the next day, and if I am awakened I am a zombie - I walk around in a haze and have no brain function. So I just don't take them.
 
Remember guys the article only says "abuse" and that does not always imply penetration/sex. All these guys may simply have busted a nut on her and it would fit the bill as far as the scope of the article tells us. At this point it's anyone's best guess was to what the "sexual abuse" entailed.
