  • Fashion label Alla Frenkel has launched a 'lingerie for children' fashion line
  • Six girls aged eight and 14 were used as models to promote the underwear
  • Pictures were published online where viewers branded them 'sickening'
  • Police intend to charge the girls' parents with 'failing to perform their duties'
Police in Ukraine have vowed to charge the parents of six young girls who took part in a 'lingerie for children' fashion shoot.

The girls, aged eight to 14, were photographed wearing lacy underwear and shawls as part of a promotional campaign for fashion label Alla Frenkel's new line.

Frenkel's, which is based in Odessa, published the images on its website where they were branded 'sickening' for sexualising children.

Following the backlash police chief Larisa Zub, head of the juvenile department of the National Police of Ukraine, said she intends to charge the girls' parents.

'We will for sure charge the parents with an administrative crime in this regard – the improper performing of their parental duties,' she said.

'Such photographs may attract attention of people with mental problems.

'They may want to trace the address of the child's family and to follow the child.'

The police have called for experts to give their opinions on the pictures before a final decision is taken over the type of legal action - and who is prosecuted over the case.

One critical comment asked: 'Aren't they too little for such facial expressions and body poses? Are you advertising paedophilia, or what?'

Another posted: 'Where are the parents? What are you doing? These are girls, not underage prostitutes.'

A critic wrote: 'I am not at all a member of moral police but this is just too much.'

One commentor warned: 'You will end up in court – this is sexualisation of underage children.

'This is the dream of a pedophile coming true. It is just horrible from an ethical point of view.'

'This is sickening. Whoever deigned this should be punished - and so should the parents of these exploited models'.

Frenkel has indicated she sees 'nothing wrong' with the shoot while posting a message online which read: 'Poke your nose into clever books, not into other people's lives.'

Alongside the images, an advert in Frenkel's shop said: 'Nowadays, young ladies can afford to wear elegant and attractive lingerie!

'Delicate lace, comfortable natural fabrics, exotic decorations – all these features in the new collection of lingerie for children!

'The lingerie in which your daughters will sleep like princesses.'

Frenkel, who also produces adult lingerie, is pictured with the child models who are dressed in her skimpy lace products.

Frenkel has a daughter the same age as some of her models, it was reported.

Odessa model agency Playfashion has advertised for young models to take part in Frenkel's fashion show in the city on 20 October.

This is due to be part of Odessa Fashion Week.

The advertisement reads: 'We are inviting girls aged eight to 14 to take part in the Alla Frenkel collection presentation on 20 October at 8 pm at Odessa Fashion Week.'

However, following the involvement of police it is unclear this will go ahead as planned.

I don't like it, no need for bed clothes for 8-14 yo to look like that except to show off their wares, and they are way too young for that.

Did anybody and I mean ANYBODY at that label think that maybe just a little bit maybe this was a bad idea???

Somebody in their marketing department is going to get their ass handed to them.

They just keep pushing that envelope, don't they. Now, play lingerie like lacy fake bras and panties are fun for little girls. I remember when my cousin was little her mom or my mom bought her a set that Avon was selling at the time. She loved it and would call that bra her "avon". Ha ha, now that I've remember I'd got to message her on FB and see if she remembers. That layout from the posted article, however, is not the same concept at all. Ugh.

Little girls should wear nightgowns or pajamas with Hello Kitty or Disney characters or sports teams, not sexy lingerie. This is putrid.

The girls are also all wearing fairly heavy makeup and have their hair done up. That is not how regular little girls look when they go to bed at night. Everything about it is very sexualized and grown up.

That's a far cry from the little Avon bra and panty set, that's for sure. As I recall Avon used no models for that. I can see now that they sell a lot more than make-up, lotions, and perfumes; back then, not so much.

I do believe there's an agenda to make sexualizing children more mainstream. The day that P is added to LGBQT (forgive me if I screwed it up) is the day we'll know for certain. "Dark" forces seem to infiltrate and undermine so many legitimate causes now.

Ummm... Little girls sporting 'Heroin chic' in totally not age appropriate clothes.

What could go wrong???

The pedeos out there are probably absolutely giddy. :wtf::wtf::wtf:

Makes me wonder which of the little girls is whatsername's, Alla Frenkel's.

I know better -- not a one.

Hell no......Is it just me or are little girls being sexualized younger and younger these days?

Society is fucked and getting worse.

Remember Brooke Shields' career began at 11 months as a child model and her second film role at 12 years was a child prostitute in Pretty Baby which had nude scenes; then there was the infamous Calvin Klein ad she appeared in at 14 years. "You want to know what comes between me and my Calvins? Nothing." Later of course came the lawsuit against Gary Gross and Playboy who possessed nude pictures of her at 10 years taken with her mother's consent... which ruled in his favor

This shit isn't new. It's been tolerated for years. At least there's an appearance of doing something about it here

If by 'sexualized' you mean drugged and (as the pedos like to call it) 'ready for a fun time', then absolutely. <<<<shudder>>>>

Frenkel has indicated she sees 'nothing wrong' with the shoot while posting a message online which read: 'Poke your nose into clever books, not into other people's lives.'

Since she decided to pimp her daughter out to all to see for what is probably, in the world's opinion anyway - The most creepiest, legitimate photo-shoot ever. Then yes, absolutely yes, people need to poke their noses in and question her 'parenting skills'.

I'm glad they actually want to charge the parents.... and these are wrong on SO many levels. They should also charge her for producing and sharing the pics

That's not little girls in baby dolls and footers. That's almost pornographic. Who the FUCK would want their 8year old in anything but Carter's?
Check please

You know, little girls dressed in lingerie with a thousand yard stare, coupled with the look of hopelessness, is not as sexy as I thought it would be.

This is sick ! Blah blah blah ... so your little girls can sleep like princesses ?
Who the fuck wants to be a princess ? Delusional mentally unfit kids is who ...

While ... we’re not in the Ukraine, us common folks can fight this by kicking that pimp mouse, Mickey out of their houses.

Get the notion of princesses right out of their children’s heads ...

I had boys ... And i will admit my kids watched Disney movies from time to time, but it was before this princess crap started to be popular and other than purchasing a $20.00 movie here and there Disney was not allowed in my house ... we said no to the sheets, and the pencil cases, and the clothing and giving our $$$ to them ... buying their merch.

And while I know this isn’t about Disney ... this trend started there. And from here the best way to fight this is to make a conscious decision to not support it at the tills ... because simply going Oh no ... this is awful wont work.

LASTLY —- little girls go wash your faces ... everyone knows the first rule of skin care and make up to wash your face before you go to bed.

@lithiumgirl
We occasionally watched disney movies as children but then my mother decided Disney was unsuitable for children and banned it.
This was in the 60's. I did manage to see "Song of the South" on TV though.
We were also not allowed to have any brand merchandise. They didn't have money to throw away.. Plain cloth binders and plaid lunch boxes for us!
I never wanted to be a princess growing up. I wanted to be a steeplechase jockey! Instead of Disney movies, I watched National Velvet.
Anyway, growing up, the only real princess I was aware of was Princess Ann, and she preferred horses too.
But I did love Andrew Lang's colored fairy tale books with amazing illustrations by H. Ford.
I always loved this one: Who wouldn't want a riding tiger and some monkey minions!
