I'm in. I've been wanting to see "Tell No One" (book rocked) but have to figure out how to play Netflix movies on my Mac. I don;t think my Mac is wondows based so that mght be an issue.

Get an X box - stream it to your TV!

I don't know if there has been a subform created (or another place to post suggestions), so I'll do it here. I like Swivel's idea of "Tell No One". Here are a few that are in my Instant Play queue. Just throwing them out there to see if any of them stick...

Sick: http://www.netflix.com/Movie/Sick/60031092?trkid=226871

Grindhouse: Planet Terror: http://www.netflix.com/WiMovie/Grindhouse_Planet_Terror/70074405?trkid=813344

Red: http://www.netflix.com/WiMovie/Red/70084246?trkid=1211018

Grindhouse: Death Proof: http://www.netflix.com/Movie/Grindhouse_Death_Proof/70074404?trkid=226871

The Postman Always Rings Twice (1946 version): http://www.netflix.com/WiMovie/The_...438381&lnkctr=srchrd-sr&strkid=1709794793_1_0

Transsiberian: http://www.netflix.com/Movie/Transs...E&lnkctr=mdp-backToAtAGlance&n=1&trkid=226871

A Certain Kind of Death: http://www.netflix.com/WiMovie/A_Certain_Kind_of_Death/70025287?trkid=1211018

I haven't seen any of them (no, not even the Grindhouse ones), so I can't vouch for them.

Anyone want to help head the first one up? I am too busy to stay on top of it.

While searching for a different thread to bump I found this one.

Did this shit ever go down? Did I just miss it? Or was it abandoned?

So our good friend CorruptedMistress has informed me that you can have Netflix parties over Xbox Live now. Basically, you have a group of people start a party, then the party leader starts the movie, and you can discuss while you watch. Kinda like an online MST 3000. I know that would limit this to Xbox owners with Netflix, but anyone interested?

Damn! I got all excited (infer away from THAT one, guys...!) about this idea, then realized the poll was from 2000-Fucking-9! :(

FFS, I think Friday night I will just pick a movie to watch and fill the chatbox with my observations.

You could just watch a movie you like, post a review and see how many people you can get to watch the movie based on your review of it. That way it would'nt have to necessarily be organized, just do it if you can.

I like it. I really enjoy the thought of a bunch of us watching a movie at the same time and MST3K-ing it but after seeing that hasn't happened yet it's probably pretty unlikely that it will but your idea cubby could be done because it's at everyone's convenience.

Anyway I want to do one of these ideas, it will be fun.

Jerri Blank, Yeah I like the idea too, but I never know if I'll be able to participate or not, I am just that busy LOL.

You (Or someone) could start a review thread and post their review and then others can watch the movie and say why they liked it and how they agree or disagree with your assessment of it. That way it is casual and probably alot more people will participate.

i don't watch alot of modern stuff, I'd heap rather watch an old Jerry Lewis/Dean Martin or Audrey Hepburn movie than some stuff produced since 1965! LOL

Go for it, you have my internet support! LOL

We are starting our reviews up again because my reviews are the TRUTH. I have about 11 movies you should watch, but probably haven't, that I just have not had time to do anything with aside from watching them. My new reviews will be short -- three to four paragraphs at most.

As for Netflix, I haven't watched much on it lately as they seem to be sliding into more television.

There is a Netflix discussion here also, fyi:
http://www.dreamindemon.com/forums/...-Instantly-On-Netflix/page3&highlight=netflix

I linked to the 3rd page, just to keep it a little current. Yes, they do have a lot of shows on now. I'm guilty of watching. But I have watched some movies. And I watched the ones Morbid recommended for a podcast a while back. I am up for trying to have a "live" movietime. Or watching after. Or whatever...

If it tickles your fancy I can do some reviews on new releases currently in theatres. I've been going to the movies like a crack whore to a pipe lately. Not sure about the Netflix bit, though...I don't really watch films at home anymore.

God dammit! I want to do a Netflix thing. Movie reviews, while awesome, are totally something else.

Well, I've seen many films already on Netflix and have a pretty cool memory for random shit. I'd still engage in discussions on them. I see Black Swan on the advertisement for Netflix above, which is totally cool because I have a review already written for it from two years ago when it came out at TIFF.

Black Swan as the first film?
