Jones was being held at the detention center on a charge of driving under the influence of intoxicants, but had been given the furlough to attend a funeral.
There has been speculation that Jones snuck in a pair of underwear that had been soaked in methadone. He allegedly shared pieces of the underwear with fellow inmates including McQueary
