Mark Jerome Hoover, 25, of Pontiac, is now behind bars, facing up to life if prison if convicted on a slew of charges stemming from what police have described as a one-man crime wave: eight carjackings in 90 minutes, plus some home invasions, a kidnapping and an attempted rape.
Hoover was arraigned on Christmas Eve. Bond was denied."
