Natalie Keepers had her appeal denied by the Virginia Supreme Court.
Keepers was originally sentenced to 40 years in 2018 on charges that include accessory before the fact of the first-degree murder of Nicole Lovell and concealing her body.
Keepers was found guilty of her charges after three days of trial in September. After she was found guilty, she and her family took the stand to apologize to the Lovell family.
