Charles Chance "Monkey-face" Burden

He's plainly a burden, not just a chance of one.

On February 17, a bona-fide Burden pounded his wife in the face with his fist at least 10 times. He then climbed on top of her and slammed her head into the floor. When she tried to get her phone to call for help, he picked her up and threw her out the door of the house, into the snow outside. Yes you read that right, he didn't chuck the phone like so many wife-beaters are known to do. He chucked her.

Welcome to the home of Charles Chance Burden, age 35-going-on-50, where it would appear that any theoretical bitch/hoe/wife/whatever who "keeps running her mouth" has a Chance of Facing. The. Consequences. (x10+)

... Except that this isn't how it works in the real world these days, at least when the wife does eventually get through to police.

When the police came, the Burden reportedly denied hitting his wife, but there was little Chance of police not noticing the wife's pounded-in face + slammed head + thrown-outside-into-snow status. So I don't know what monkey-face was hoping to accomplish by denying that one.

The Burden then briefly belonged to the Wichita County Jail. He was charged with Assault Causing Bodily Injury-Family Violence, bond set for $3,500. The jail record I found looks like he bailed out the next day.

When I look a little bit into the Burdensome Mr. Charles, I find that he Chanced upon a way to get a gun carry violation in Texas (of all places). Laws in Texas for a carry permit would have allowed him to carry unless he's a felon (or convicted of misdemeanor/felony domestic violence, thx to @Alf for that clarification).

As for any felon or conviction status at the time of the gun arrest I don't really know for sure, but I did find this, when I peeked in the records for the Wichita County Jail:

He did not look so much like a monkey, at least in the face, back in 2017. The years between 2017 and 2021 have apparently been hard. Strange that the spelling of the last name in this record is different.

So it would appear that this was not the first time he's assaulted a family member. That one must have been interesting, what with the 25,000 bond amount.

Charles' Chance downward spiral toward simian-hood is somewhat evident 2019:

and here we are in 2021 with the simian-looking creature at the top of this post.

The location on this one is a little strange. I think that the Burden may have a past or present association with North Beverly Auto Service in Wichita TX. The police however identify him as a Burkburnett resident, which is a different town that is a short drive north of there. I note that there is a business directly in Burkburnett named Burden's Auto and Wrecker services. The owner of that business is listed as a James Burden. There is an interesting complaint/story at the Better Business Bureau about the Burkburnett-located Burden's Auto and Wrecker services. I'm getting bad vibes and impressions of bad character all around, here.

Anyway, I hope the pounded wife is able to get rid of this Burden and get herself something better, most especially if she was also the 2017 victim. It would seem that this monkey has not gotten better over the years. At a minimum, I think she's got a good Chance of finding something that looks a little more human as opposed with simian.

Great write up @Blizzard Very thorough as usual! I don't think I'll ever to give you a reason to hunt me down
:p;)
haha eh .... it seems to be straightforward these days to find that shit when someone has gotten their legal name and age broadcasted by news organizations, plus left a trail of arrests and maybe even charges in the public record, and so-on. Without at least a small link into the 'real world' I got nuthin' on anyone ;D.

When I look at the picture progression, I get the impression of an alcohol problem. I have no actual information for this, just saying that the picture progression makes me think of that. Meth and heroin look different, meth messes up the complexion and maybe teeth, and heroin seems to make notable weight loss. A alcohol problem seems to make them look old and ratty without those things.
