She may have been found. The remains had some articles ID has belonging to Jacquelyn. The authorities just haven't made it official yet.

Jacquelyn Grider was last seen the morning of June 1, 2015. Reports say she was suffering the early stages of dementia. Grider was from California, but reportedly spent summers near the Heyburn State Park.

Investigators with the Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office say several undisclosed items found near the remains lead them to believe the body is Grider’s. The remains were found about two miles from where Grider was last seen.

Deputies searched the area for a week after Grider disappeared, but found no trace of her.

Wow, it took all that time to find her so close to where she disappeared.

That seems to happen often, even after searchers have searched the area where the person's remains are eventually found.
