Man Charged With Murder After Drowning Daughter In Creek

Freehold, NJ – Prosecutors say that on November 21st Arthur Morgan III attached a car jack to his daughter’s car seat and tossed it into a ~~car~~ creek with her strapped inside.

The body of 2 year-old Tierra Morgan-Glover, who prosecutors say was “awake, alert, and helpless” when her dad put her in the creek, was found partially submerged the next day by children playing nearby.

Morgan had picked up the girl from her mother to take her to a movie. When he did not return for a few hours, Imani Benton called police. By that time, Morgan had already left the park where the creek was. According to the prosecutor, Morgan went from the park to a friend’s house. There, he had a few drinks, gave away his car and some other belongings, and headed for a nearby train station.

He was arrested a week later, mere miles from the Mexican border in California. On Monday he stood in court, stone-faced and calm, answering to the charge of murder. He’s also charged with a custody violation and interstate flight to avoid apprehension. One wonders why they don’t group those two with littering and combine the charges, call it ‘whoop-dee-fucking-doo’ and wipe their ass with it since he’ll likely spend the rest of his life in jail with no parole.

As for circumstances leading up to the crime, both a recent job loss and multiple court hearings for custody were cited, but I’ve got a TON of shallow holes to dig today, so we’ll just chalk it up to him being a piece of shit.

I had been following this story for a while. Glad they finally caught him. My heart breaks for the mother. That poor child. I can’t understand the mentality of these parents that would rather kill the children then share them with the other parent. What type of sick fuck does that. Anybody that does never really loved them in the 1st place.

Knoxxxious - Filing things like custody violations and interstate flight to avoid apprehension on suspects like this trash are just law enforcements way of hitting him with their proverbial shoe … it’s how they say “Hey Dickhead,we don’t like your ass.” In police communities this is called “icing on the cake”.

I read this story in the forums and had not heard how he also tied a tire irom to the babies car seat, in the dictionary they need an entry under cold blooded reptile with this assholes face on it, the cops in court look like they are all wishing they could beat his ass to death. This happened a few miles from my job and not too far from my friend’s home. Everyone is so sickened by this I cant even tell you. First and foremost the mother had requested that all visitation be SUPERVISED this was denied by the judge and DYFS. Dyfs was told that he had beat the child with a spoon for taking the contents of her dirty diaper and making a mess with it( something many of us probably did as a baby). Dfys said the story couldn’t be corroborated, as if there is a such a thing. Do you think he was gonna admit to that or video tape it? Obviously not. This man was abusive and still allowed to take his daughter alone with him. No one listened to the mother’s plea for help. Dfys and the judge should all be punished they were warned of this man’s behavior. They chose to ignore it. I dont allow my son to have unsupervised visits with his father just because he is a complete idiot, I dont trust him. How this mother was forced to hand her baby over to this monster is beyond me. Heads gotta roll and people better start considering what is best for the child and not just defending fathers rights, cause many of them dont deserve them.
