Corona, California–Belinda Magana called police SundaySunday reviewsSunday reviews evening to report that her 2-year-old son, Malachi Magana, had disappeared from Lincoln Park while on a Mother’s Day outing with his family. Officers and volunteers searched for Malachi, by land and by air, all night and into the next morning with no luck. The search was called off Monday afternoon–not because Malachi had been found safe and well, but because his mother and her boyfriend tripped up on their lies.

‘Early on in the investigation, things weren’t adding up,’ Corona Police Lt. Mark Johnson said. ‘Their stories weren’t matching.’ Further questioning of Magana and her boyfriend, Naresh Narine, revealed that Malachi was never at the park…police believe he’d been dead since SaturdaySaturday reviewsSaturday reviews. It has been determined that Magana and Naresh injured the child and buried him in a shallow grave in the Lytle Creek area, about 35 miles north of Corona.

Belinda Magana, 23, was arrested on suspicion of child abuse and being an accessory to murder. Naresh Narine, 37, was arrested on suspicion of murder, torture, and child abuse causing injury or death. Investigators are awaiting a positive identification of the body and exact cause of death from the coroner’s office and are not releasing details on the child’s injuries. Malachi’s 4-year-old brother was placed into protective custody.

    The Riverside County district attorney will seek the death penalty against a woman and her boyfriend who are accused of killing her son, the DA's office announced Thursday.

    On May 9, the couple put his body in a trash bag and placed him in the backseat of their vehicle. Then they went to a party they had already planned to attend, the release stated.

    After the party, they buried the boy's body. The next day, on Mother's Day, they called police and reported Malachi missing.
    Deputy Public Defender Addison Steele is representing Narine. He said he disagreed with the district attorney's decision.

    "If we are going to have a death penalty, it really should be for the very worst of the very worst, such as serial killers," Steele said.

    Details are starting to leak from the day of Malachis murder. So far the family has discovered from the autopsy that Malachi was tortured by Naresh. He continuously beat him then with a closed fist struck Malachi breaking his spinal cord and then beating him every time the baby cried in pain until he passed away. We have also uncovered that Belinda asked Naresh to stop beating him when they noticed he was having difficulties breathing. She then tried to call the police but Naresh told Belinda that if they called the ambulance or police they would go to jail. They then on Saturday attended a birthday party with Nareshes family leaving Malachi in a shallow grave on their way there. Naresh's brother was speaking out on his brothers behalf saying it was impossible for his brother to commit those crimes, him being a police officer he should of known filing a false police report is a felony, and that's what he got charged with along with aiding and abetting he will be investigated for accessory to Malachis murder. He now sits 3 cells away from his brother in the Corona detention center.

    **Update**  The body they found was the missing boy.

    Officials have identified the 2-year-old Corona boy whose body was found Monday in a shallow grave in Lytle Creek as Malachi Joseph Magana.
    San Bernardino County coroner's officials said they are waiting for identifier records from Corona police to positively identify the child. An autopsy is expected to be conducted this week.

    So baby boy was killed the day before Mother's Day. Nice. We can say with out a doubt she is really no mother. The very idea that this bitch and her penis killed that baby and buried him in a shallow grave, then reported him missing on Mother's Day, makes me sick.

    I hope they nail these fuckers. I have no doubt we will learn that this poor child's last moments were agonizing and that in his short time alive he was likely abused. Baby killers deserve death.
