BROWNSBURG, Ind.–We see many stories here on the D’D about idiot parents leaving their kids in the car. The reasons vary…they hit the bar, shop at the local Wal-Mart, catch the latest BatmanBatman reviews
flick, work, forget the kids were there, etc. It’s almost to the point where it’s not shocking or even surprising anymore. Then, along comes Amber Kuhn with a whole new reason. She left her kids waiting in the car while she committed armed robbery! Way to go mom!
See, Amber has an addiction she has to feed. Amber is an admitted crackhead. Amber needed some fast cash. On May 8th, while her children, ages 7 and 2, were outside, alone in the car, Amber robbed a Holiday Inn Express at gunpoint. WitnessesWitnesses reviews
report that a rifle was involved but Amber later stated that it was just a BB gun. Her take in the robbery was about $400. Not bad for a few minutes work, huh?
Cash doesn’t last long when you’re a crackhead. Amber robbed the same hotel on July 19th. The take that time was about $160. Working with one of the two or three brain cells she has left, Amber must have decided to hire a sitter for the last robbery because the children reportedly weren’t present.
Tips from the community helped authorities identify Amber. She turned herself in on Tuesday and is being held in lieu of $25,000 bond. Her children are in the custody of her brother.
And what does she get for her trouble, besides crack? Two counts each of armed robbery, neglect of a dependant, and theft. For the robbery, she’s looking at a prison term of up to eight years. The other two charges carry a maximum penalty of three years.
And what does Amber have to say about all this? In an interview with TheIndyChannel.com, Amber makes two very brilliant statements…Number 1: “KnowingKnowing reviews
that I can’t leave them at home, they’d have to go with me. They were sleeping.” And number 2: “From having the kids in my car, I am ordered not to have any contact with them and it’s really bad.” Living proof that crack is whack kids.

Well, she couldn’t very well leave the children at home alone! Obviously it’s much more responsible to bring them along to an armed robbery. What a total genius.

Um…”technically” she’s “considered” a criminal. Sounds like someone not wanting to accept responsibility for their retarded actions.

Well, yeah, but she’s still more than TECHNICALLY a criminal.
I’m sure we should be so hard on this Mom. Do you know how much decent babysitters cost? As soon as she’d robbed enough to hire one, she stopped taking the kids on her “jobs.” I think that shows a certain amount of responsibility. And she drove around until the kids fell asleep before she did the first robbery.
You all are just hatin’ on a hard-working crack mom.

Thank havens the kids are OK. There were so many things that could of have happen and the poor angels would of have being in the middle of it. Each day more and more idiots are coming out to amaze us with the things they do.

At her next eye exam, someone needs to talk to her about frame selection. On her face, those glasses are just wrong. That might be a good first step toward a drug-free life, Amber.

For that, I’m jealous. But no, the ones who bother to afford food AND crack aren’t skinny. And, since the article didn’t mention emaciated children, she was obviously making the effort to keep food around.
Crack can lead to weight-loss, but is not nearly as strongly associated with it as meth or heroin, from my experience.

so i know this was a long time ago but i just wanted to say, all you people have no right to be saying stuff about her. i personally know her and drug addiction is a disease not something to make fun of! amber has been a teriffic mother to her kids and her kids love her very much. she just got into the wrong things and it hurt her life. she is currently awaiting to get out and shes had perfect behavior in jail. she has looked back on waht she did and realizes what a stupid mistake she made. she is a changed woman whether you people think she is or not! quit making fun and cracking jokes at someone with a problem!! and poking fun at her weight, get a life and grow up!! she had two kids for God’s sakes!!! grow up and quit being a bunch of deuce bags!!!! eff you all!!!
