LAS VEGAS — Chester “Chet” Arthur Stiles, 37, a fugitive accused of raping a 3-year-old girl on videotape, was apprehended during a traffic stop in Henderson. “He said, ‘I’m Chester Stiles, the guy you’re looking for,”‘ Henderson police Officer Mike Dye said. “He said, ‘I’m tired of running.”‘Stiles has been wanted on warrants issued for 21 felony charges including lewdness with a minor, sexual assault and attempted sexual assault.
Stiles was booked at the Clark County jail. He had not yet hired a lawyer or been assigned a court date, police said.
Nineteen of the charges stemmed from acts Stiles videotaped of himself with the toddler in 2003. The jury viewed the graphic video FridayFriday reviews
. Outside the presence of the jury, Clark County District Court Judge Jennifer Togliatti called the recorded images ‘clearly child pornography in its most graphic form.’
Stiles also faces federal charges of producing child pornography, which could carry a sentence of 15 to 30 years in federal prison. That trial is set for April 6 in Las Vegas.

This case really tore me up. When the news first posted pictures from the video that little girl’s eyes were so haunted. So sad. I hope that she really doesnt remember anything.

Trial Finally Begins In Chester Stiles Case
The Chester the molester trial has been put off because of delay after delay, but the trial is finally underway.
It’s been nearly a year and half since a videotape surfaced in Pahrump, and the 12 jurors and three alternates who are seated for the jury may have to watch it.
The sex tape that Chester Stiles allegedly made of himself sparked a nationwide manhunt in 2007. Stiles’ name and picture was splashed all over local and national news stations for about six weeks.
Not only were potential jurors asked a series of questions, they got a chance to see Chester Stiles face to face. In a questionnaire, many in the jury pool said they were familiar with the Stiles case because of all media reports.
With that much media attention, a major concern, especially for defense attorneys, is finding an uncontaminated jury pool, or at least one that hasn’t made up their minds about the case yet. Attorneys therefore came up with a jury questionnaire. The idea was to jog their memories by reminding them about the details of some of the charges

(CNN) — Jurors begin deliberations Tuesday in the case of a man accused of sexually assaulting a toddler and capturing it on videotape years ago — a crime that triggered a national manhunt and search for the girl when the tape surfaced in 2007.
Chester Arthur Stiles faces life imprisonment if convicted of videtaping a sexual assault on a child.
Chester Arthur Stiles, 38, is charged with 22 counts in connection with the videotape, including lewdness with a child, sexual assault with a minor and attempted sexual assault with a minor. If convicted, he faces a maximum sentence of life in prison.

Also parents should stop using “Wayne” as a middle name since it guarantees that the kid will grow up to be incarcerated (Google it). Chester Wayne would be a horrific combo. Hmmm… I wonder how many “Chester Wayne Whatever” exist out there already… Gives me the chills. And makes me double check that I locked the front door.

He received 21 life sentences – which means he won’t be eligible for parole for at least 40 years. Don’t you wish life really meant life.
