KALAMAZOO, MI – Police have arrested a woman after they say she beat her 5-month-old son to death.

In late January, 21-year-old Jennifer Mohler was unable to wake up her 5-month-old son. She placed him back into his bassinet to tend to the boy’s twin brother.

She then notified family members in the home that her son “didn’t look right” and they ended up calling for an ambulance.

After being taken to the hospital, the boy was having seizures, had bleeding on the brain, retinal hemorrhaging, facial bruising and whiplash trauma.

The injuries were listed as “non-accidental trauma” and police were notified.

When questioned, Mohler admitted she hit both children with an open hand and hitting one in the head with an eyeglass container. She also admitted to dropping them both into their bassinets.

A judge ordered both children be removed from Mohler’s custody. Unfortunately, the injured infant died from his injuries in February.

Mohler was subsequently charged with murder and first-degree child abuse. She’s facing life behind bars if convicted on the charges.…

BAY CITY, MI – A 21-year-old woman has been sentenced to 45 days in jail for lying about being raped in a Delta College parking lot.

In February, Mary Zolkowski told police she had been raped by a black man in a parking lot at the college.

During their investigation,  police learned a parolee with sexual assault convictions was on campus at the time of the alleged attack.

The man was questioned and denied any knowledge of the incident. He was also subjected to a polygraph test that he passed.

Zolkowski’s story was already falling apart by then and it didn’t help that she was unwilling to participate in the investigation or submit to a physical examination.

When police were unable to find any evidence that a sexual assault had occurred and confronted Zolkowski with some inconsistencies with her story details, she simply changed her story.

This time it wasn’t a black man in a parking lot that raped her. This time it was an acquaintance who had raped her at his apartment.…

WARREN, MI – A 37-year-old man in Michigan is facing criminal charges after he allegedly fathered a baby with his 20-year-old daughter.

Police began investigating Gregory St. Andre in February after the mother of his daughter told them her daughter had given birth to her father’s baby.

She went on to tell them the family had suspected he had been sexually abusing the girl for years.

“We’ve been through this for years. It started years ago,” the 20-year-old woman’s aunt said. “It’s just madness. It’s tearing our whole family apart.”

St. Andre’s wife is divorcing him and echoed the aunt’s statement, claiming she had suspected the abuse for over five years but could never get police involved.

When interviewed by police, St. Andre denied ever having sex with his daughter but did not deny he was the baby’s father. However, he did admit giving her a cup of his semen but he “doesn’t know what she did with it.”

As ridiculous and unbelievable as that claim sounds, it’s about the only defense the guy has at the moment so I can see why he is throwing that Hail Mary.…

MUSKEGON, MI – A 27-year-old woman was arrested after being accused of leaving her daughter with severe disabilities in the back of a pickup truck.

On the night of Feb. 25, Asia Beach placed her 8-year-old daughter in the back of a stranger’s truck then wandered a couple blocks away “attempting to break into neighboring houses and vehicles.”

The girl, who suffers from cerebral palsy and described as “nonverbal and immobile,” was discovered after a couple got into the truck and drove away from the home they’d been visiting.

After about a block, they heard the girl crying in the back. They returned to the home they were at and found the girl in the bed of the truck wearing only a t-shirt and pajama bottoms in the 37-degree weather.

“This girl could have died if these people hadn’t left the home when they did,” Muskegon County Chief Assistant Prosecutor Timothy Maat said. “If this was the homeowner’s vehicle and she had been in there overnight – or if the owner of the vehicle didn’t notice she was there – she’d be dead.…

MUSKEGON CO, MI – A 25-year-old mother was sentenced to 20 years in prison for recording herself molesting a four-year-old relative.

Sometime in November 2016, 25-year-old Kailee Marie Perez filmed herself fondling the genitals of a 4-year-old relative.

Perez then sent that recording to her drug dealer, 32-year-old Nathan Osborne, who circulated the video online.

Both Perez and Osborne were arrested after someone found a video of another woman, 20-year-old Jazmine Pacyga, performing oral sex on her 5-month-old son.

“What does that woman have to do with Perez?” you may be asking… well, aside from being drug addicts who molest young boys, Pacyga and Perez have two other things in common; Nathan Osborne and both being featured on Dreamin’ Demon.

Turns out Osborne had a nice racket going for a pedophile. He was trading drugs and sex with these two women in exchange for videos of them molesting children. But that has all come to an end and this entire fiasco is almost wrapped up.

So far Perez and Osborn have been sentenced to prison with only Pacyga awaiting her fate after her Hail Mary insanity claim fell through.…

SUMPTER TOWNSHIP, MI – Police are asking for the public’s help in tracking down a couple wanted for the murder of a 4-year-old girl who died from severe burns.

Police responded to a residence at the Rawsonville Woods Mobile Home Community on January 1st after receiving a call about an unresponsive 4-year-old girl.

The officers arrived to find family members performing CPR on the girl who was suffering from severe burns on her body.

The girl was rushed to the hospital where she would be pronounced dead shortly after arriving.

The medical examiner would rule the girl’s death a homicide and an autopsy would reveal she had suffered “multiple traumatic injuries” and injuries that indicated prolonged physical abuse.

The girl’s mother, 24-year-old Candice Diaz, and her boyfriend, 28-year-old Brad Fields, have been charged with felony murder, murder in the second degree, child abuse and torture. Fields was also charged as a habitual offender.

The problem is that police cannot find them. The couple is believed to be driving a black 2002 Chevrolet Cavalier with the Michigan license plate DTR1854.…

MARYSVILLE. MI – A man walked into an indoor play center and fatally shot his wife in front of two dozen children gathered for a birthday party.

On Saturday, 34-year-old Matthew Pilarowski walked into a Jump N Jam and shot his 32-year-old wife, Cheryl Myny, at point blank range.

Pilarowski did this in front of the couple’s 4-year-old daughter and 9-year-old stepson.

Myny was rushed to Lake Huron Medical Center where she was pronounced dead. Pilarowski was found in the couple’s home, dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

As for a motive, it seems as if the couple’s six-month marriage had fallen apart and Myny was planning on moving out of their home.

“There were some marital issues that came up, and witnesses saw them arguing hours before in the parking lot,” said Deputy Chief Ron Buckmaster. “Shortly after 5:30 p.m., while a birthday party’s going on with at least two dozen children present, he pointed his gun at her and a brief struggle ensued and he shot her.”

A Gofundme page has been created that states Myny owned the Jump N Jam she was killed in.…

BAY CITY, MI – A woman is facing some felony charges for trying to run over her husband with her minivan after the couple attended a swinger’s party.

Shit went down on Sept. 21 after someone called police to report a woman trying to run down people with her vehicle.

When police arrived at the scene, they found a Dodge Caravan in front of a residence and its owner, 28-year-old Amber Schomaker, trying to enter the home with a screwdriver.

Schomaker’s 33-year-old husband was also outside and sporting a nasty gash to his forehead. When police made contact with a woman inside the home, she explained she was the one who called 911.

She explained that she and her fiancée had invited the Schomakers to their home for a swinger party. At some point the woman went upstairs with Schomaker’s husband, leaving Schomaker downstairs with her fiancée.

When they returned downstairs, they found a heavily intoxicated Amber was not happy about her husband plowing someone else’s bean field. She conveyed this by slapping her husband across the face before going outside.…

MASON, MI – Police have arrested a Wheatfield Township teenager after they say he fatally shot his mother after she told him he couldn’t keep a puppy.

Andrew Willson, 19, called police around 7 a.m. Friday to report he had come home from a drive to find his mother, 51-year-old Lisa Willson, murdered in her bedroom.

When police arrived at the home, they found the woman dead in her bed with a gunshot to the head. (that sentence came out like a fucked up Cat in the Hat)

However, police determined that there were no signs of anyone else being in the home aside from Andrew and his mother. When questioned about this, Andrew eventually cracked and admitted he had shot his mother.

He told detectives that the two had argued that night over a puppy he had brought home a week or so earlier. He said his mother told him he could no longer keep the puppy in the home and would have to take it to his father’s.…

WYOMING, MI – Police have arrested a woman after they say she starved her infant to death as he sat strapped in a car seat inside her apartment.

On July 19, 22-year-old Lovily Johnson showed up at Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital with the corpse of her six-month-old son, Noah Johnson.

“Upon arrival, Noah was clearly deceased and had been for some time,” Wyoming Detective Robert Meredith wrote in a probable cause affidavit.

Meredith also wrote that Johnson admitted to intentionally depriving Noah of food and left him strapped in a car seat for several days on the upper floor of her apartment with no air conditioning.

Johnson was arrested several hours later and charged with felony murder and first-degree child abuse. Both charges carry a maximum sentence of life in prison. She is being held without bond until her probable cause hearing on Aug. 2.

Johnson also as a 2-year-old daughter who has been placed under the supervision of the state.

If an infant starving to death while strapped in a car seat sounds familiar, you may be thinking of a similar case we reported on back in 2008.…

DETROIT, MI – A 10-year-old girl is in very critical condition after having her arm severed during a pit bull attack, police said.

The incident happened Saturday when the dog managed to get out of a second-floor gated room and attack the girl as she was playing in the backyard.

The owner of the dog has had issues with the animal in the past, including attacking a DTE a year ago, so when strangers are around they secure the dog.

“But in this instance, the dog left the upstairs, came down, the gated door was ajar, the dog left and immediately began attacking this child,” Chief James Craig said.

The girl’s aunt tried to intervene but the dog turned on her and injured her leg. A neighbor ran over with a shovel and beat the dog with it until the shovel broke, but the dog would not let go of the girl’s arm.

Someone else came and tried getting the dog away from the girl with food, to no avail.

“It wasn’t even think about that food, because at this point, it smelled blood,” said neighbor Raphael Jackson said.…

GRAND RAPIDS, MI — A 3-week-old baby girl died after being bitten by the family’s pit bull, police say.

The incident happened around 6 p.m. Thursday after Susannah Murray was left alone in her bouncer inside a home as several adults were on the front porch.

When one of the adults went inside the home to check on her, they found she was suffering from bite marks, and the family’s pit bull was nearby with blood around its mouth.

Susannah was rushed to Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital where she underwent emergency surgery. Unfortunately, she would die the following morning.

Three pit bulls were removed from the home and taken to the Kent County Animal Shelter where they are under quarantine.

Another child lives in the home, said Sgt. Terry Dixon with the Grand Rapids Police Department, so Child Protective Services has been notified. At this time, the prosecutor’s office has not determined if any charges will be filed.

“This is a horrible tragedy and serves as a critical reminder to never leave a child unattended around a dog or dogs or cats.…
