Plaistow, NH — Barry Short, 22, of Massachusetts was arrested New Year’s morning after he allegedly drove past a New Hampshire police car in a Ford Focus with only three tires.

“Officer Jason Mazza observed a vehicle on Route 125 drive slowly by,” deputy police Chief Kathleen Jones said. “[The patrol officer] heard a loud noise and observed the car was missing the rear driver’s side tire, driven on its rim only. It wasn’t flat, there was no tire on it at all.”

Officer Jason Mazza pulled Short over and approached. Shockingly, the officer reported smelling a ‘strong odor of alcohol.’ Mazza questioned Short and noted that he appeared ‘disoriented.’

“Short believed at the time of the stop that he was in Methuen, Massachusetts,” Jones said. “He told the officer he couldn’t find a jack to change his tire, but couldn’t explain why there was no tire on the car.”

After failing a field sobriety test, a police search of the vehicle yielded a substance suspected to be marijuana and some paraphernalia.…

Middle School Teacher Charged With Armed Robbery

November 17, 2011 at 9:19 am by

Billerica, MA — Picking up where we left off yesterday, I got a couple more teacher stories to post, starting with the middle school teacher who was arrested and charged with armed robbery.

According to the police report, 27-year-old Jennifer Horton, a 6th grade English and Social Studies teacher at Marshall Middle School, was sitting in a parked car with her boyfriend, Andrew Pasquale, and a 54-year-old man who was in the backseat.

At some point Horton and Pasquale, who is an acquaintance of the victim, pointed a gun at the victim sitting in the backseat while demanding cash and his prescription medications. The victim told police that after the couple took $103, OxyContin pills and a Social Security card, he was sprayed with pepper spray before he was able to get out of the car.

Police have arrested Horton and Pasquale, charging them both with armed robbery. Bill Ryan, the superintendent of schools, said Horton is now on paid administrative leave and not allowed on school property.…

Attleboro, MA – A 41-year old Massachusetts mother has been arrested for allegedly forcing her 10-year-old daughter to pose nude on webcam in the preposterous hopes of winning a $20,000 mother-daughter bikini photo shoot.

Ann Lussier reportedly made her daughter strip down to her bra and underwear – and then get completely naked – while a man who identified himself as a Florida-based photographer watched her over Skype. The woman and her daughter were unable to see the photographer because, according to his claim, ‘his camera was broken.’

According to court documents, Lussier complained to her twin sister about the incident and how “uncooperative” her daughter was during the nude broadcast. The charging document also stated the aunt heard her niece crying in the background. The sister, who presumably ended up with all of the brains in their shared womb, contacted authorities. The resulting month-long investigation led to the arrest of the man allegedly on the other end of the camera – Joshua Dunfee of Oxford Junction, Iowa. That would be the Iowa that is in Florida, of course…

Oxford, MA — A man who allegedly threatened to abduct a 13-year-old girl he had been stalking was arrested at his home Monday after a brief scuffle with police.

According to authorities, 38-year-old Kelly Hoose placed a call to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children Thursday and told the person on the other end of the line that he had been stalking the girl, admitting that he had been following her school bus on and off for three months. Hoose reportedly said he loved the “curly-haired” teen, wanted to kiss her and planned to take her to his house. Police say he then gave the operator his full name, address and license plate number.

The agency immediately contacted Massachusetts State Police. Surveillance was placed at school bus stops on Friday and police began tailing Hoose. When he spotted the tail on Monday, Hoose allegedly rammed a police cruiser and sped off. After a brief pursuit, Hoose was arrested at his home. But not before he attempted to arm himself with a knife.…

Pittsfield, MA — Charlie Price, a Level III sex offender,  pleaded guilty to a single count of disturbing the peace earlier this week after he was accused of groping and licking a cardboard cutout on display at a Rite-Aid pharmacy over the weekend.

According to the police report, an allegedly intoxicated Price entered the store at about 5:00 Saturday evening, “grabbed hold of the sunglass display, hugged it tightly and then began to lick and kiss the face of the female party on the display.”

The alleged tonguing apparently lasted for about a minute and promptly ended when Price fell to the floor.

Police say that when Price was back on his feet, he began yelling and screaming. My guess…papercut. Anywho, Price’s bizarre behavior apparently scared a few customers in the store, who police said were “actively” trying to make themselves scarce. They should have been “actively” hitting the record buttons on their cellphones.

In 1991, Price was convicted of indecent assault and battery on a child under 14. Last year, he was convicted of open and gross lewdness and lascivious behavior.…

Boston, MA – Thomas Hutchinson, 19, of Tewksbury, Massachusetts was indicted on child rape and child pornography charges after being accused of blackmailing an underage girl into performing sexual acts using a series of fake online identities.

It was reported that early this year, a 15-year-old girl using the social networking website was contacted by individual calling herself “Brittany.” “Brittany” reportedly offered to help the victim get into modeling if the victim was interested. According to police, after the victim agreed, a second online persona using the screen name contacted her. “Sexybeast” claimed to be in the modeling industry.

“Sexybeast” – with full knowledge of the victim’s age – asked the victim to send pictures of herself in bathing suits and various clothing. After a series of message exchanges, “Sexybeast5655” reportedly asked the victim to send naked pictures and videos.

Police reported that, after the victim had provided the pictures and videos, “Sexybeast” threatened to post them online if the teen didn’t have sex with a “friend.” The victim was also threatened with rape if she refused or told police.…

Cambridge, MA — Joseph P. Macdonald, 32, was arrested last week after his attempts to organize an impromptu block party were spurned by his unimaginative neighbors. …and we wonder why America lacks a “sense of community.”

The evening of October 3 began innocently enough when MacDonald reportedly came out of the isolation of his apartment to urinate on the front steps of the building. At his point, you might expect that his neighbors would inquire as to how the urinating was going or even join in – as that would be the polite thing. But, no. Completely out of the blue, some of his neighbors reportedly yelled at him to stop.

After a verbal exchange that we will simply describe as “unpleasant,” Macdonald reportedly returned to his apartment.

Not to be discouraged and clearly clinging to the notion that the concept of the neighborhood is not dead, Macdonald reportedly returned to the street. This time – while wearing only a T-shirt and peach-colored lace panties – police said Macdonald began masturbating in the middle of the street and calling out to the other residents to ‘come outside and join him.’ Ungrateful, neighbors called police.…

Starving Dog Jumps From Third Story Window

October 5, 2011 at 4:33 pm by

NEW BEDFORD, Mass., — Before you continue reading I suggest you get the full effect of the article’s contents by playing this in the background. Ok, ready?

The other day, an emaciated one-year-old female dog jumped from a third story window in an effort to save herself from starving to death.

The pit bull mix broke her hip and hind leg upon landing and more than likely would have died had had a cop not witnessed the dog’s three-story plunge. Animal control officials were called and immediately began treating her.

Officials would also find a four-month-old puppy starving to death on the first floor of the flea-infested apartment. The property manager told police the tenant had moved out a couple month’s ago and did not have their contact information.

The female, named Miracle, underwent surgery on Monday and will be placed into the custody of Forever Paws Animal Shelter once she recovers. The puppy, Gracie, was in a lot worse shape but is alive and recovering in the shelter’s ICU.…

Self-Described Vampire Charged In Triple Homicide

September 15, 2011 at 10:28 am by

AUGUSTA, Maine — Police say a man currently in jail for his role in a Massachusetts triple homicide previously served time in prison after an assault in which he licked a teenager’s blood and claimed to be a vampire — and his facial tatts, piercings and body modifications on display in his mugshot are making him quite the online sensation.

Caius Veiovis, 31, along with Adam Lee Hall, 34, and David Chalue, 44, has been charged with three counts of murder, kidnapping and witness intimidation after the men allegedly murdered then disposed of the bodies of 44-year-old David Glasser, 58-year-old Edward Frampton, and 47-year-old Robert Chadwell.

The murders were allegedly an attempt to keep Glasser from testifying against Hall, a ranking member of the local Hells Angels, in his upcoming trial for kidnapping, assault and battery and witness intimidation. Not surprisingly, Veiovis is no stranger to the justice system.

He’d already served over seven years in prison after being found guilty of elevated aggravated assault, aggravated assault and reckless conduct back in 1999.…

Man Arrested After Stabbing Child With Chopsticks

September 8, 2011 at 4:01 am by

Springfield, MA — Vo Duc Au, 31, was arrested Tuesday after police say he attacked a 12-year-old boy with a pair of chopsticks.

According to the young victim, he was just sitting there doing his homework when Au raced down the stairs and started getting all stabby. The kid was poked on the left forearm and bicep, and was left with a 1″ laceration. Au! Bet that hurt. HARR!

When the boy’s father tried to intervene, Au reportedly attempted to stab the man in the face. Fortunately, the man was able to disarm Au before anyone lost an eye.

No idea who Au is in relation to the child and father, just know that he may be a little off. Police say he was shaking and uncooperative at the scene.

Au has been charged with two counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. The child was treated at the scene.

Chopsticks, huh? I do believe my sporkin’ days are over. Lord knows I can’t eat with the damn things….…

Milford, MA – Nicolas Guaman, who is in the country illegally and has no driver’s license, was arraigned on charges related to driving while drunk and hitting and killing 23-year-old Matthew Denice late Saturday.

It was reported that while believed to be drunk – and transporting his 6-year old child – Guaman struck Denice who was on his motorcycle.  Police said Denice became stuck in the wheel well of Guaman’s truck and dragged a quarter mile onto a yard, despite witnesses trying to get him to stop.

“People across the street were … beating on the window, beating on the truck and yelling at him, trying to get him to stop,” said Greg Russo, a witness.

Guaman drove off anyway, telling police later that he “didn’t know what to do.” He would drive for about a quarter mile with Denice lodged in the passenger-side wheel well, his body falling out when Guaman ran off the road and into a yard. Denice was alive when Guaman dragged him with his truck, said Worcester County District Attorney spokesman Paul Jarvey.…

Attleboro, MA – Michael Todd, bass player for Coheed and Cambria, was arrested after allegedly robbing a Walgreen’s pharmacy for Oxycontin.

For those of you unfamiliar, Coheed and Cambria is a band that rocks pretty hard despite a lead singer that sounds like an open box of queefs placed on a stool before a microphone. The band was scheduled to open for Soundgarden Sunday night at the Comcast Center in Mansfield, MA. Todd was arrested at the venue before the show.

According to reports, Todd walked into the pharmacy around 1pm Sunday and passed his cell phone to a pharmacist. I do this in loud bars when I want to order complicated shots and watch the already busy bar staff squirm. The difference is that Todd wrote he wanted real drugs and that he had a bomb. Todd made off with six bottles of Oxycontin and got into a waiting cab which brought him to the concert.

Todd is facing charges of armed robbery and possession of a class B controlled substance, and is currently being held at Attleboro Police Department on $10,000 bail.…
