WILLIMANTIC, CO – A man accused of having sex with his dead girlfriend in an attempt to wake her up has been sentenced to one year in prison.

Back in January, police received a call about an unresponsive woman. When officers arrived at the scene, they found a deceased woman with heroin and needles nearby. She also had ligature marks on her wrists and ankles.

When they questioned her boyfriend, 39-year-old Graser, he told them he found his girlfriend sitting unresponsive on their bed with the drugs on her lap. He then summoned a neighbor, a former paramedic, to come check on her.

After Graser informed a detective he had been arrested months earlier for choking his girlfriend, police decided to question him further. That’s when Graser told police what he had done after finding his girlfriend on the bed.

“Aaron stated that he laid the victim down the bed and he rubbed her sternum,” according to the warrant for his arrest. “Aaron stated he listened to see if the victim was breathing and he heard gurgling.…

ALLOWAY, NJ – A woman has been arrested after she passed out in the front seat of her car for hours and her 2-year-old daughter fatally injured herself while trying to escape her car seat.

Deanna Joseph, 39, called 911 around 9:45 p.m. to report her daughter was unresponsive. When police arrived at the scene they found the girl dead in her car seat in a car running in the driveway.

After questioning Joseph, police determined she had pulled into her driveway and passed out for hours with the car running and the heater running. During this time, her daughter struggled to get out of her car seat and may have accidentally hanged herself in the straps.

Salem County Prosecutor John T. Lenahan said the child had no obvious signs of blunt force trauma and the exact cause of death will be determined by the medical examiner’s office. My guess it will be either asphyxiation, heat exhaustion or a combination of both.

Joseph was charged with second-degree child endangerment, charges that I am sure will be upgraded once an official cause of death is determined, and especially considering Joseph’s history of doing this exact, same thing multiple times in the past.…

JOHNSTOWN, PA – A 5-month-old baby starved to death in a bassinet after her parents both died of heroin overdoses.

Police were called to the home of a couple after someone went inside to check on the family that had not been seen or heard from in a week.

Once inside, they found 27-year-old Jason Chambers and 19-year-old Chelsea Cardaro dead from heroin overdoses. Chambers was on the first floor while Cardaro was found in a second-floor bathroom.

But they got off lucky compared to their 5-month-old daughter, Summer Chambers. She was found dead in a bassinet after suffering “three to four days” of dehydration and starvation.

Officials believe the family has been dead for a week. Neighbors last saw the family Dec. 11, and thought they had taken a planned trip to New York.

“It’s an unfortunate incident where they both possibly overdosed at the same time – and being from out of town, not having anybody in town,” said Johnstown police Capt. Chad Miller. “It was too long for anybody to notice that they were missing.”

This isn’t the first time police had been to the home on an overdose call.…

Jeri QuezadaGRAND PRAIRIE, TX – Jeri Quezada has been arrested after her 4-year-old daughter was beat to death as punishment for drinking her brother’s juice.

According to an arrest warrant released by Grand Prairie police, Quezada, 30, called 911 to report that she was performing CPR on her daughter, 4-year-old Leiliana Wright.

When responding paramedics noticed the girl had bruises on her face, Quezada told them her daughter had come home from a sleepover with the injuries and then fell in the shower. The child was rushed to the hospital where she was pronounced dead.

Three days later, the girl’s death was ruled a homicide due to blunt force trauma to the head and abdomen. The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office said the girl had extensive bruising “from head to toe” and had whip marks on her back.

With this information, police arrested Quezada and charged her with injury to a child. Despite changing her story multiple times, the arrest warrant paints a pretty horrific picture of what happened on the day the girl died and, I gotta say, it’s a tough read.…

Brittany SappFREDERICK, MD- Brittany Ann Sapp, 23, was charged twice for drugs after a traffic stop; once for it being in her car and once for it being inside in her vagina.

Sapp was pulled over for a traffic violation by a police officer with a K-9 Unit. During the stop, the K-9 detected narcotics inside Sapp’s car. She was arrested for possession of heroin and taken to Fredrick County Adult Detention Center where she was processed.

Fredrick County, who is way ahead of the jails I’ve seen the inside of, used a body scanner in lieu of a cavity search and detected 1.7 grams of heroin in a baggie tucked all up inside Sapp’s coochie.

Sapp was charged with possession of heroin and possession of contraband in a place of confinement. Sapp was later taken to the hospital after showing symptoms of ingesting some of the heroin. She has been released on bail.

This incident would have been a lot cooler if the dog was the one to locate the contraband. …

Ashley TullSELBYVILLE, DE – Police in Delaware have arrested 30-year-old Ashley Tull  after her 4-year-old girl went to daycare and started passing out bags of heroin to other children.

Workers at Hickory Tree Child Care Center called police Monday morning after they observed some of the kids with small bags of an unknown substance. The substance was later determined to be heroin.

An investigation would reveal a 4-year-old girl found 249 small bags in the backpack her mother, Ashley Tull, had given her to use after her own backpack was ruined by the family pet that night. The girl believed the small bags contained candy and began distributing them to her friends.

Although the teachers at the center were able to confiscate the bags before any of the children opened them, some were taken to the hospital for precautionary measures.

Police interviewed Tull and then took her into custody. She’s currently charged with maintaining a drug property and three counts of endangering the welfare of a child. Tull was released after posting $6,000 secured bond.…

James MeyersWEST WHITELAND TOWNSHIP, PA – Police have charged 24-year-old James Myers with cruelty to animals after he allegedly injected a kitten with heroin, choked it with a rope and slammed it to the ground.

Around 5 a.m. Sunday, a patrolling police officer noticed Myers parked in the middle of the street with his car door open. Under the door was a black kitten with a rope wrapped tightly around its neck. The kitten was lethargic, bleeding from the face and had some teeth missing.

A search of Myers car yielded bundles of heroin, hundreds of used bags of heroin, hypodermic needles, rope that matched the one wrapped around the kitten’s neck and a small box of cat shit.

The 8-week-old kitten was taken to a vet suffering from head trauma, where it was determined that the kitten had been injected with heroin. Dr. Jennifer Magilton first thought the kitten would need to be euthanized, but she first tried giving it some Narcan, a heroin antidote.

The kitten, now named Hope, immediately improved and is now expected to make a full recovery.…

needleRedmond, WA – The ex-wife of Eric Lehtinen arrived at his home Tuesday to pick up their 4-year-old son and found that Lehtinen had attempted to kill the boy by injecting him with heroin.

When the unidentified woman got inside the locked home after a job interview, she found Lehtinen unconscious, as was their son who also had a syringe sticking out of his chest. Both were rushed to the hospital where staff found indications of needle marks on the boy’s neck and buttocks.

Tests would reveal he’d been injected with a drug cocktail of heroin, ketamine, morphine, codeine, and other drugs. The latest reports have him listed in stable condition, but doctors are unsure of what long-term damage the drugs may have caused.

Lehtinen was released from the hospital and sent straight to jail. He did not collect $200. He has been charged with attempted first-degree murder. He’s being held on $3 million bail after prosecutors described him as a “man who is willing to inject his 4-year-old son with heroin in an attempt to kill the boy” and a “dangerous man willing to do anything.” If convicted, Lehtinen will be looking at a minimum of 15 years behind bars.…

Minneapolis, MN – Rebecca Rachelle Hill, 37, was arrested with her daughter on October 12th while reportedly shoplifting from a Macy’s store in Mall of America.

She allegedly attempted to give officers false identification information, but was outed when her fingerprints were run against a police database.

Once authorities were able to make contact with Hill’s daughter’s father, he told them that the girl and her mother had been driving around in a vehicle stolen from a relative and smoking marijuana and heroin for the past few weeks.  The father knew this because he had previously taken his daughter, who had been going through withdrawal, to the hospital where she tested positive for both heroin and marijuana.  The girl had also been depressed and cutting herself on the wrists and thighs.

When faced with this wealth of information, Hill reportedly admitted to purchasing the drugs for her daughter as well as doing them with her, about three times per day, supposedly in an effort to keep the girl from suffering further withdrawal symptoms. …

Houston, TX – Okechukwu Ogbonu, a 47-year-old citizen of Nigeria, was arrested in Bush Intercontinental Airport on August 12th for allegedly attempting to smuggle about two pounds of heroin inside his bowels.

Records indicate that Ognonu flew from Nigeria to Dubai, stayed in Dubai for about seven days, and then took a flight to Houston.  Upon his arrival, Customs and Border Protection agents witnessed what they believed to be suspicious behavior; behavior they identified as that of a possible drug mule.

Judging from the amount of contraband he was reportedly smuggling, I imagine a man of color with a slightly bloated gut, a baby-step gait often adopted by victims of severe diarrhea, and a facial expression of sheer terror tinged with a hint of disgust.

After being questioned by agents, the man signed a consent form, allowing the agents to x-ray him.  Police reportedly identified multiple pellets containing an unknown substance filling his stomach and intestines.  He later expelled a latex-wrapped pellet which subsequently tested positive for heroin.

“This apprehension is an example of the commitment of CBP officers to disrupting alleged illegal activity that could pose a devastating threat to the American public,” said Jeffrey O.…

Iowa City, IA — Despite what others may say, I derive no pleasure from kicking someone when they’re down. Sometimes, as in this case, I choose to feature certain individuals purely as a public service announcement.

Sort of like Crazy Ralph, but instead of warning people away from cursed campgrounds, I’m warning them of the dangers of certain drugs. All in the hopes I can keep one person from getting busted using them in a pharmacy bathroom with their 4-year-old child present.

That’s exactly what happened to 30-year-old Tiffany Lewis the other day inside a Iowa City pharmacy. A witnesses told police that Lewis requested syringes before disappearing inside the pharmacy bathroom with her toddler for several minutes.

When she came back out, she was obviously under the influence of something and asked where she could dispose of used needles.

When police arrived on the scene and tried to question Lewis, she attempted to conceal a Crown Royal bag behind her back that was found to contain a metal spoon blackened with residue, a used needle and a substance believed to be heroin.…

CAMDENTON, MO — Police have charged a woman with first degree assault and armed criminal action after she slit her baby’s throat. This came months after she told a minister she was possessed by demons and was afraid she was going to hurt her daughter.

According to the probable cause statement, Tyler Tebrock called police to report that his mother, 39-year-old Bradie Simpson, and his 9-month-old sister were missing. He was concerned because he had found blood and a bloody knife in his mother’s bedroom.

Police searched the area and would find Simpson holding her blood-soaked baby in some woods nearby a few hours later. The infant was unresponsive, suffering from a neck wound and Simpson would not say a word to police.

They were both rushed to the hospital where the baby underwent emergency surgery and is expected to make a full recovery. Doctors say that had it not been for the cold weather and the quick responses of all involved, the little girl would have probably died.

So far no motive has been given, but police did find a plastic baggie and two spoons in her room, one of which tested positive for heroin.…
