BELLMEAD, TX – Police have arrested a man who got caught having sex with his neighbor’s male dog.

Someone called police early Saturday morning to report seeing a man sexually assaulting his neighbor’s dog in a fenced in back yard.

When police arrived, they found 26-year-old Philip Mercon still having some sexy fun time with the animal.

Mercon let go of the dog and tried to run from police but was quickly apprehended.

“Officers notified the animal owner on scene so that she could provide any care the dog needed. At this time, there are no reports of injury to the dog,” police said.

Mercon has been charged with bestiality, evading arrest and criminal trespass. He was later released from jail on $8,000 bond. If convicted, Mercon is looking at two years in jail.

Poor Mercon waited a year too late. Up until 2017, having sex with a dog in Texas wasn’t even illegal.…

CLAYTON COUNTY, GA — A 5-month-old girl was mauled to death by the family German Shepherd after her mother left her in the care of a roommate.

Terika George told police that after putting her daughter to sleep, she left the home for a few hours and left the girl in the care of her roommate.

The roommate ended up putting the girl to bed in one room while he fell asleep in another.

When George returned home at around 3 a.m. she found the roommate sleeping and her daughter dead after being mauled to death by the roommate’s German Shepherd.

Animal Control removed the dog from the home, and it has since been euthanized.

Family members said the dog had been around the girl since her birth and never showed any aggression toward anyone in the home.

“He ate by us, he slept by us, he followed us and sometimes I had her in her car seat and he would go over and check on her and walk away.…

HOLT, MI – A physicist at MCU has been charged with sodomizing a basset hound “with his hands and penis.”

In a press release, the Attorney General’s office said Joseph Hattey, 51, was charged with two counts of committing a crime against nature.

Reportedly, Hattey penetrated the animal with his hand and his penis.

The animal is currently in custody of Ingham County Animal Control. Officials say the incident did not happen on campus and the animal involved was not owned by the university.

Hattey worked as a radiation-safety technologist at the school for over four years before working as a physicist for the last two.

Hattey has not pleaded guilty to the charges and his lawyer says his client will explain the incident at his June 21st court hearing.

I absolutely cannot wait to hear his explanation.

MSU is still recovering from a previous sex-scandal involving Dr. Larry Nassar (who seemingly molested the entire Olympic gymnastics team under their watch).

So it’s understandable they issued the following statement to let everyone know how quickly they acted:

Michigan State University was informed by the MSU Police Department on April 17 of a criminal investigation against Joseph Hattey, a health physicist with the Environmental Health and Safety Unit (note this position does not work with students, patients or animals).

MIRAMAR, FL – An 8-month-old girl was mauled to death by her grandmother’s pit bull as she sat in a bouncy chair.

Miramar Fire officials responded to a home on Wednesday after receiving a call regarding a child that had been attacked by a dog.

When fire officials arrived they found 8-month-old Liana Villasin had been mauled by her grandmother’s pit bull.

There was nothing the emergency workers could do for the girl and she was pronounced dead at the scene.

The dog responsible for the attack was taken away by animal control, along with two other dogs that were in the home.

According to the girl’s grandmother, the girl was in a bedroom sitting in a bouncy chair when the male pit bull attacked. The dog was 3 to 4-years-old and had been owned by the family since it was a puppy.

The girl’s mother, Brenda Villasin, said she had dropped off her daughter at her mother’s house before she went to work.

“Nobody wakes up in the morning and says ‘you’re going to lose somebody you love,'” she said.…

CARTER COUNTY, OK — From the “Headlines I Never Thought I’d Ever Write” department comes a story about a 52-year-old woman who was mauled to death by her neighbor’s seven dachshunds.

On Thursday evening, Tracy Garcia was attacked by the dogs near her home.

Police were called to the scene and ended up shooting one of the dogs as it charged at them.

Garcia, a mother of two, was treated at the scene and then taken to the hospital where she later died.

The remaining dogs were rounded up and put down at the request of the owner. While the predominant breed of the dogs was dachshund, they were also mixed with terrier and border collie.

“A predominant breed in these dogs is definitely standard dachshund,” said an animal shelter employee. “They have really noticeable characteristics like their knobby legs, knees, very short legged dogs and their coats.”

All of the dogs were 1 to 3 years old, weighed less than 40 pounds and were covered by ticks and fleas.…

CONVERSE, TX – A 4-year-old boy was mauled to death by the family dog while playing in the backyard of his home.

According to the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office, Noah Trevino was playing alone in the backyard of his home Sunday afternoon when the dog attacked.

The dog, described as a “mixed large breed” was tied up at the time and it is believed the boy got too close to the animal while playing.

“It appears that the child may have gotten too close to the dog,” Bexar County Sheriff Javier Salazar said. “One of the relatives of the child actually looked out into the backyard and saw that the dog had his mouth around the little boy’s neck and was shaking him.”

Family members were able to get the dog off of Noah and began administering CPR. Unfortunately, Noah was declared dead after being airlifted to the hospital. He had just celebrated his fourth birthday two weeks prior.

Bexar County Animal Control took the dog for an overnight observation and to be tested for rabies.…

JONESVILLE, VA — An 8-day-old baby in Virginia was mauled to death in its bassinet by the family’s wolf-dog hybrid.

On Wednesday morning, the parents of the infant girl heard her crying in her room. When they went in to investigate, they found the dog standing over her.

“The child, according to the statements, was in a bassinet. There was blood in the bassinet where the dog had attacked the child. (There were) very serious injuries to the upper body, and the head,” Lee County Sheriff Gary Parsons said.

The infant was rushed to the hospital by her father but would die later that afternoon. The 3-year-old wolf-dog hybrid was euthanized after being taken to the pound.

Social services have been called to check on two other children living in the home with two other dogs.

Parsons said he believes it is reckless to leave any child unattended with an animal, and is checking if any charges can be filed against the girls’ parents.

“I’m concerned about whether the child was protected, so the tough part for me is who is in the right and who is in the wrong, and you hate to charge parents that are grieving over a child, but at the same time you have to consider the rights of the child,” he said.…

BALTIMORE, MD — A man has was sentenced to three years in prison after being convicted of tying a cinder block to his girlfriend’s dog before tossing him into a reservoir.

In February of last year, a pit bull mix named Roscoe was found dead in the Liberty Reservoir tied to a cinder block. The dog had been microchipped, so investigators quickly identified the woman who owned the dog.

After talking with the woman, it was determined that her boyfriend, Anthony “Tony” Muniz, was responsible for the dog’s death and he was charged with aggravated animal cruelty.

According to prosecutors, Muiz stole the dog from his girlfriend and took it to a rescue group claiming that it was a stray, then re-adopted Roscoe as his own.

Of course, he had no intention of keeping the animal since he ended up tying a cinder block to the dog before chucking him into the water. Why would he do this? According to prosecutors, it was to send a message to his girlfriend.…

DUNCAN, OK — A  3-year-old girl was mauled to death by a pit bull five days after her father brought the dog home to the family.

Police were called to a home Sunday afternoon after receiving a report about a young girl being attacked by a dog.

When police arrived, they found 3-year-old Rylee Marie severely injured and the dog, named Remington, in the backyard.

When Remington charged one of the officers, the dog was shot and killed.

The girl’s father, Jason Dodge, said he was visiting his brother when Marie was attacked while being watched by her grandmother.

When he got a call that Marie had been attacked by the dog, he rushed home and found his mother, who was also injured,  still trying to wrestle Marie away from Remington.

Dodge eventually got Marie away from the animal and attempted to get her to the hospital.

“I picked her up and carried her, I ran out the front door, and I threw her in the passenger seat,” he said. “I went to go to the hospital and then the ambulance came.…

FALMOUTH, MA – A man had to stab the family pit bull to death after it began mauling his 1-year-old daughter in what police are calling an unprovoked attack.

It happened Sunday morning when the man heard screaming coming from the kitchen, and discovered the family dog, a pit bull terrier, had latched on to his 1-year-old daughter’s face.

When the man could not get the dog to off his daughter, he ran to an adjacent room to grab a gun. After trying to shoot the dog and discovering the gun was unloaded, the man used a knife to stab the dog to death.

The girl was airlifted to the hospital where she underwent numerous emergency surgeries and blood transfusions. She is expected to survive the attack but family members say she still has a long way to go, including future plastic surgery procedures.

Police say the dog did not have a history of violence, and that the attack on the girl seems to have been unprovoked.

The father’s uncle, who lives across the street, said the dog was adopted five years ago and has always gotten along with the girl.…

ARJAY, KY – A man has been charged after his two pit bulls mauled a couple Christmas Eve morning, killing the woman.

According to the Bell County Sheriff’s Department, Johnny Saylor woke up Christmas Eve morning and started to walk outside his house to find his wife, 66-year-old Lorraine Saylor, who normally woke up before him and spread bird seed in the yard.

When he went out to the porch, he was immediately attacked by two pit bulls that belonged to his neighbor, 42-year-old Johnny Lankford. The dogs latched on to Johnny’s arm and tried dragging him to the ground.

Luckily, Johnny’s brother lives next door and heard the commotion. He stepped out and began yelling at the dogs, causing them to release their hold on Johnny. This gave Johnny enough time to run back inside and grab a .22 caliber pistol.

When he returned outside, Johnny shot one of the dogs in the chest after it lunged at him. This caused the injured dog to run from the scene.

When Johnny made his way to the front of the house, he found Lorraine.…

HART COUNTY, GA — A grandmother is facing murder charges after her two pit bulls mauled her 20-month-old grandson to death.

According to Hart County officials, 70-year-old Sandra Bowers Adams was babysitting her grandson at her home on Tuesday.

Adams told GBI agents that they were going back inside the house when her pit bulls ran out the back door, knocking Adams down and attacking the boy.

She eventually got the dogs off of her grandson and rush him to the hospital, after stopping to pick up the boy’s mother who was nearby, but it was too late.

By time he arrived at Reddy Urgent Care, he was pronounced dead from several bites and tears to his head and neck.

After an extensive investigation and interviews with family members, Adams was charged second-degree murder, second-degree cruelty to children and felony involuntary manslaughter.

Part of the reason why the district attorney was comfortable with these charges may have to do with the fact that Adams has been cited multiple times by the Hartwell Police Department under a city ordinance maintaining disorderly animals.…
