POINSETT COUNTY, AR – Police have arrested a woman in connection to the death of her one-month-old daughter who was found inside a clothes dryer.

Police were called to a mobile home Tuesday afternoon after the baby’s father found his daughter, Caseleigh, dead inside the dryer.

Both he and the baby’s mother, 25-year-old Tyra Neal, were arrested but charges against the baby’s father were later dropped.

Second-degree murder and abuse of a corpse charges were not dropped against Neal, however, and she is sitting in jail on a $1 million cash-only bond.

Family members say Neal has four remaining children.

No word on how the baby died, but the sheriff’s office said her body has been sent to the State Crime Lab for an autopsy.

No word on a motive, either. But I’m guessing a 25-year-old living in a trailer in the middle of nowhere five kids may have a little something to do with it.

Sheriff Kevin Molder said the immediate response of Arkansas State Police was the reason why they have been able to progress this case so quickly.…

WICHITA, KS – The body of a 5-year-old boy missing since February has been located and his stepmother has been taken into custody.

Lucas Hernandez was reported missing in February of this year. His stepmother, 26-year-old Emily Glass, told police she had fell asleep for a few hours and when she woke up Hernandez was gone.

Investigators immediately began searching the area but could not find any trace of him. An Amber Alert because there were no indications the boy had been abducted.

The search for Hernandez ended on Thursday when his remains were found underneath a Kansas bridge. Police say his remains were not visible from the street and had been there for ‘awhile’.

Investigators say Glass led a private investigator to the area. She was still at the scene when police arrived and began the search that led them to the boy’s remains.

Glass was booked into the Sedgwick County Jail late that night for interference with law enforcement officer and obstruction. My guess is that those charges will be upgraded once a cause of death has been determined.…

SACRAMENTO, CA – A couple is behind bars after the body of their emancipated 5-year-old girl was found inside a storage locker.

On May 11, Tyler and Averyauna Anderson, both 23, drove a rented U-Haul truck from Reno, Nevada to Sacremento.

The next day they stopped at a friend’s U-Haul storage facility and dropped off some sealed boxes.

The friend thought the boxes were suspicious, so he inspected them. Inside one of the boxes was a plastic drum that contained a duffel bag.

Inside the duffel bag, the man found the remains of a 5-year-old girl.

The storage unit owner immediately called police who began their investigation. Detectives were able to quickly identify the couple and where they lived by tracking their cellphone information and their U-Haul rental agreement.

At the couple’s apartment, investigators would discover the couple had three children. Two boys that are the couple’s biological children, and Cali — the 5-year-old-girl found in the storage unit.

Interesting to note, Cali was not Averyauna’s biological daughter. She was also the one child neighbors reported never seeing playing outside.…

SENECA FALLS, NY – A couple has been jailed after a 3-year-old boy was beaten so badly that he is currently on life support with no brain activity.

Police responded to the apartment of Donald and Alison Bovio on Saturday after Donald called to report his stepson had fallen down the stairs.

First-responders would find the boy lying unconscious on the kitchen floor with substantial trauma to his head and body.

The boy was airlifted to the hospital in critical condition where he’s currently on life support after suffering a brain hemorrhage. He’s unable to breathe on his own and is showing no brain activity.

Doctors would determine the injuries the boy had suffered were not the result of falling down stairs, but rather an assault.

After questioning the couple, and based on information from the doctors who examined the boy, police arrested the couple on charges of assault in the first degree.

Court documents say the couple allegedly beat the boy “with a belt numerous times and intentionally caused his head to strike a hard floor surface.”

Additional charges are expected to be filed when the couple is indicted on Thursday.…

ATLANTA, GA – A mother has pleaded guilty to pimping out her two daughters – ages 5 and 6 – to men in exchange for cash and drugs.

Last April, the two girls were living with temporary legal guardians after their mother, 25-year-old Morgan Summerlin, was placed in jail.

The girls told the adults that their mother would routinely take them to men who would sexually assault and rape them.

One of the men they called “Pop,” later identified as 78-year-old Richard Office, was the man who gave Summerlin drugs.

The girls said Office touched their private parts and “humped” the 5-year-old girl, causing her to bleed from her vaginal area.

In another incident, they said their mother waited in the living room of Office’s home while Office tongue-kissed both girls in his bedroom and raped the younger sister while the older sister rubbed his feet.

When he was finished he gave the girls one-hundred dollars that was immediately taken from them by their mother.

The girls said their mom also brought them to to the home of Alfredo Trejo, who also raped and molested the girls.…

ALBUQUERQUE, NM — A homeless couple are both behind bars for forcing their 7-year-old daughter to perform sex acts, pickpocket, panhandle in heels and attend “secret parties” in exchange for drugs and money.

The girl and her 8-year-old brother, who went to the same school, would often show up unkempt or would fall asleep during class. The school was aware that the parents, Teri Lee Sanchez and James Stewart Sr, 37, were known to be occasionally homeless.

In November of last year, the girl’s teacher noticed she was, “excessively unkempt and smelled of urine.”  She lead her into the bathroom to put her in fresh clothing and clean her up. It was at this point when she noticed dried blood in her panties. The teacher informed the school principal and made contact with Albuquerque police and the Children, Youth and Families Department, and made a report to each.

Both the principle and teacher noted an additional incident where the girl was dropped off at school in an unfamiliar vehicle wearing high heels and appeared to have had her hair, and makeup professionally done.…

INDIANAPOLIS, IN – Police have started investigating an incident in which a 1-year-old had his face pummeled after his mother dropped him off at his daycare.

According to the boy’s mother, Tiffany, she received a phone call Monday from the Kiddiegarden daycare a few hours after dropping off her baby and his older sibling.

When she arrived at the daycare she said she could hear her baby, Jesse, screaming. She would find that her baby had cuts to his face and that both of his eyes and lips were swollen.

Outraged, the woman admits she lashed out in anger and punched the 22-year-old daycare worker who was supposed to be looking after the children.

Baby Jesse was taken to the hospital to have his injuries treated and to make sure he isn’t suffering from injuries that could cause long-term damage.

Tiffany said the worker told her a 2-year-old girl was responsible for the baby’s injuries. A claim that Tiffany, as well as the accused 2-year-old girl, find hard to believe.

“It’s no way a baby, a 2-year-old and that baby was small and she didn’t look like she was the violent type and her mom said she wasn’t the violent type and her mom said scratches her baby might do but when seen that picture she started crying and said her baby wouldn’t do anything like that,” Tiffany said.…

BALTIMORE, MD — After a six-month investigation, police have charged a woman with child abuse in the death of a baby girl that was poisoned with an enema.

Police began investigating 32-year-old Latayia Hutchins last November after police were called to a home for a report of a six-month-old baby not breathing.

The baby, Indira Henderson, was rushed to the hospital where she would later die.

After completing the girl’s autopsy, the medical examiner would rule her death a homicide by poisoning.

Investigators would find that Hutchins had been babysitting the girl when she got permission from the girls’ mother to give the baby an enema to help with a bowel movement.

During the administration of the enema, Hutchins used a lubricant that contained Lidocaine, a topical numbing agent sometimes used to treat irregular heartbeats.

Immediately after the enema was administered, Indira began convulsing and stopped breathing.

Hutchins, who reportedly worked for more than five years in clinical research at a Maryland hospital. was arrested on Thursday and charged with first-degree child abuse.…

SWEDEN, NY – Police say that 10 days after being released from a psychiatric hospital, a woman in New York decapitated her 7-year-old son with a kitchen knife.

Police were sent to a home Thursday night after 911 received several calls reporting a suicidal woman with a knife. Before officers arrived, another call came in telling them to hurry as someone had been injured.

Once at the home, deputies encountered 36-year old Hanane Mouhib who was holding a large kitchen knife. When she refused to drop it, the deputies used pepper spray and a Taser to disarm her and take her into custody.

After subduing Mouhib, the officers found the body of the woman’s 7-year-old son, Abraham Cardenas, decapitated in another room.

Five people were inside the home when Abraham was killed, including Mouhib, Abraham, Mouhib’s husband, the boy’s grandmother and his 10-year-old brother. No one else was injured during the attack and they were reportedly in another part of the house when Abraham was killed.

According to Mouhib’s husband, there were no warning signs before Mouhib murdered her son.…

PINE RIDGE, SD – A 30-year-old woman in South Dakota will plead guilty to beating her toddler to death after the boy wet the bed.

We’ve first reported on 30-year-old Katrina Shangreaux back in 2016 when she was arrested and charged with the murder of 2-year-old Kylen Shangreaux.

Shangreaux has now admitted to the murder in a written statement. In the document, Shangreaux admits she was drunk and on drugs when she got mad at her son for wetting the bed.

She says on top of the bed wetting her son “gave her a sideways look” and called her “Angie,” the name of the boy’s paternal aunt who had cared for him the year prior before. A month before the boy’s murder, Shangreaux had regained custody of her son after winning a June 2016 custody battle.

IOn response to the boy’s alleged actions, Shangreaux hit the child multiple times with her hands and a belt, threw him to the ground, kicked him in the abdomen and head, and bit him several times – including biting his genitals.…

BEND, OR – A daycare owner was sentenced to more than 21 years in prison after being convicted of drugging children in her care so she could go to the gym.

January Neatherlin, 32, was arrested in March 2017 after police found seven children younger than five by themselves at her illegal day care center, Little Giggles Daycare.

Police were at the daycare because they had been informed by Neatherlin’s former boyfriend that she often left the children by themselves.

Police set up surveillance and watched as Neatherlin left the house hours after the kids had been dropped off in her care. After she been gone for an extended period of time, the officers feared for the children’s safety and entered the home.

According to the responding officers, they found all of the children in an upstairs bedroom and they all appeared drowsy. One child was found on a couch covered in his own vomit.

Turns out that Neatherlin was drugging the children with melatonin so she could go to Tanning Republic and to High Desert CrossFit to work out.…

MADISON, WI – a nurse has been suspended after five infants were discovered with a variety of injuries including a fractured skull, rib and arm.

An unnamed nurse at UnityPoint Meriter hospital has been suspended after being suspected of causing serious injuries to at least five babies at the hospital’s newborn intensive care unit.

The first case of possible abuse was in April of last year, with another being reported that same year and another this January. None of these injuries were shown to a child abuse expert and explained away by the hospital.

Then in February, another report of abuse came in after a nurse noticed bruising on the arm of an infant. Like the cases reported the year before, doctor’s determined the injuries were not from abuse.

In this case, the arm injuries were explained as possibly being caused by the baby “clutching wires or peripheral intravenous device arm board used for stabilization.”

The next day, another infant was found with unidentified bruising. This time a doctor said it may have been caused by tightly wrapped blankets.…
