Chris HeuserGALIVANTS FERRY, SC – Police have arrested 18-year-old Chris Heuser after they say he planned to rape and kill a teenage girl in his neighborhood.

On Sunday, a teen called police to report she’d come home to find one of her windows broken and her car tires slashed. She called back a second time to report finding a wallet and knives in a ditch next to her house. What had her more scared than a possible burglary was the handwritten note found inside the wallet.

It was a 14-part plan to stab, rape and dump her body, complete with estimated times to complete each of the tasks. She said she believed the note was written by Heuser, a boy with mental issues who lived down the street with his foster parents. He’d repeatedly stopped by her house hours earlier saying he was searching for his cell phone.

Investigators paid Heuser a visit at his home and found a letter with “what appeared to be the exact handwriting as the letter found in the ditch next to the house that was broken into”, according to a police report. …

Thomas YoungmanROCKLEDGE, FL – Police say a 36-year-old man brutally beat his stepmother before stuffing her into the trunk of his car.

There are no details regarding what prompted the beating, but the 57-year-old woman told police Thomas Youngman beat her head and face, slammed her head on the garage floor, stuffed her in the trunk of his car and informed her he was going to kill her.

She said Youngman began to drive off, but stopped to open the trunk and take away her cell phone. He then pulled her out of the trunk by her hair and began beating her again. Somehow she was able to escape and run to a neighbor’s for help as Youngman fled the scene.

The woman was taken to the hospital and Youngman was arrested later after he returned home. He was charged with attempted first-degree murder, aggravated battery with great bodily harm, kidnapping, and resisting a law enforcement official without violence.

This isn’t the first time Youngman has been accused of assaulting his stepmom.…

Bethany ArceneauxLafayette, LA – A woman kidnapped by her violent ex-boyfriend was rescued by family members after they shot and killed her captor.

Last Wednesday, Bethany Arceneaux, 29, was abducted by her estranged boyfriend, Scott Thomas, who is also the father of their 2 year old son.  The kidnapping took place in a daycare parking lot as she was picking up their son.  A witness observed Bethany screaming, honking the horn and trying to fight off Thomas and begging someone to take the boy.  The witness, Derrimetrie Robinson, was able to take the child as Thomas shoved Bethany into his car and sped away.

That evening, police found Thomas’ white Buick near a field with one of Bethany’s shoes in it, but, other than that, there were no new leads and no sign of Bethany, until Friday. That’s when police and family were searching for her in the fields near where Thomas’ Buick was left, and residents gave the family members a tip about an abandoned house in a field nearby. …

Sophia BodyCHICAGO, IL – A woman in Chicago has been charged with attempted murder after being accused of beating and stabbing an 82-year-old motorist, after he accidentally struck a pedestrian.

Police responding to a call of a battery in progress found the elderly man bleeding from the side of his head and suffering from lacerations to his back. Isaac Tucker told them he was driving when he was flagged down by 28-year-old Sophia Body and another woman.

The man said as he parked behind them to help, he accidentally bumped one of them with his vehicle. When he got out of his car, the two women began beating him and stabbing him with a screwdriver.

“I got out of my car to help, not to offend no one,” Tucker said. “But when I got out of my car, I was attacked, and I was stabbed several times in the back.”

Assistant State’s Attorney Elizabeth Dibler said what happened was that Tucker accidentally struck one of the women as they crossed the street and wouldn’t claim he was flagged down by the women until later. …

needleRedmond, WA – The ex-wife of Eric Lehtinen arrived at his home Tuesday to pick up their 4-year-old son and found that Lehtinen had attempted to kill the boy by injecting him with heroin.

When the unidentified woman got inside the locked home after a job interview, she found Lehtinen unconscious, as was their son who also had a syringe sticking out of his chest. Both were rushed to the hospital where staff found indications of needle marks on the boy’s neck and buttocks.

Tests would reveal he’d been injected with a drug cocktail of heroin, ketamine, morphine, codeine, and other drugs. The latest reports have him listed in stable condition, but doctors are unsure of what long-term damage the drugs may have caused.

Lehtinen was released from the hospital and sent straight to jail. He did not collect $200. He has been charged with attempted first-degree murder. He’s being held on $3 million bail after prosecutors described him as a “man who is willing to inject his 4-year-old son with heroin in an attempt to kill the boy” and a “dangerous man willing to do anything.” If convicted, Lehtinen will be looking at a minimum of 15 years behind bars.…

According to police, Adrian Mendez became angry when the teen refused his $200 offer for sex. Not taking no for an answer, Mendez pulled the teen into his Ford Explorer by her hair, then strangled her until she lost consciousness.

About 90 minutes later, someone watched as Mendez intentionally backed over the girl with his vehicle and then sped forward, spinning the tires on her body.

“He was on top of her with the vehicle.  And I started screaming at him. He backed up, he literally backed up and hit her again and he went to take off because he heard us screaming at him,” said Shane Green, who had been outside barbecuing. “He hit his brakes and was spinning his tires on top of that little girl.”

When police arrived on the scene, they found the girl on the side of the road. …

Michael DeMaioGreenwich, CT – A man told police he “lost it” when he bashed his wife’s skull in with a baseball bat inside their mansion after learning she was leaving him.

Police responded to the $7.3 million estate of Michael and Diane DeMaio on Tuesday after receiving a report of a domestic situation with injuries. Once inside, they found Diane, 54, laying in a pool of blood inside a large closet with three ice packs placed under her badly disfigured head.

“What, hello, what’s going on,” she said before closing her eyes. Police tried to put pressure to a large gash on her head, “but felt it was soft”.

Also in the home was Diane’s elderly mother, Gloria Sica, who was screaming that Michael had attacked her daughter. “That monster hit her and she’s dying,” she screamed. An officer drew his gun on Michael and placed him in custody. The 55-year-old would confess to using a baseball bat to bash his wife’s head in.

Police found mother and daughter unconscious inside the smoke-filled van in a rural area nearby. Kelli had lit a portable charcoal grill inside the van, then locked the doors and closed the windows.

Kelli regained consciousness quickly but has not been forthcoming with police in regards to her motives. Taking a look at her blog, The Status Woe, doesn’t make it too hard to figure out.

Police say 26-year-old Helen Marie Newsome broke into her ex-boyfriend’s home early Saturday morning intent on killing his 8-year-old son. After the boy’s father went to work, Newsome allegedly went into the young boy’s bedroom and attacked him while he was sleeping.

James TadrosJACKSONVILLE, FL – Police say a man in a Florida Best Buy lured a 9-year-old girl into the store’s bathroom where he allegedly beat her and shoved her head in the toilet.

Investigators say the girl was only out of her mother’s sight for a minute or two, but that was all 29-year-old James Tadros needed to get the little girl into the women’s bathroom.

That’s where Tadros reportedly kicked and punched the girl, put a plastic bag over her head and held her head down in the toilet. Authorities say the girl would have been killed had store employees not taken time out from not being able to answer the most basic of technical questions, and walked into the bathroom after hearing the girl’s screams.

“By the grace of God, the customer and employees got in when they did,” Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office Sgt. Jay Farhat said. “If it had been any longer this could have been a much worse outcome.”

The employees told police that they looked underneath the handicapped stall and saw Tadros holding the child’s head in the toilet.…

When deputies arrived at the home, they found Ferna “covered in blood” and her mother, 59-year-old Blonia Quesner, suffering from bleeding in her brain, a broken nose and two broken forearms. Oh yeah, her eyeballs were found “on the kitchen floor near a knife and a large pool of blood,” according to the probable cause affidavit.
