ROCHESTER HILLS, Mich. — After two separate incidents involving one of their neighbor’s pit bulls, residents of Rochester Hills have had enough. Larry Adams said on Monday his son was walking Pebbles, a 5-month-old Jack Russell terrier, when two pit bulls jumped out of the open window of a car and began attacking her. He said his son tried to hold Pebbles up and out of the reach of the attacking dogs, but he eventually lost his grip and the dog was mauled to death. According to neighbors, this isn’t the first incident with the dogs. “My kids were attacked in our own back yard … they went through the gates attacked my daughter and she was mauled for several minutes,” said one mother in the neighborhood. The owner lived right around the corner and Oakland County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that it did removed one dog from the house. The owner also tried to apologize to Larry Adams, but Adams didn’t want to hear it. He wants criminal charges filed against the owner and new laws put in place to keep things like that from happening again.…

Mocksville, NC — Busy, busy! Got a busy day today but here are a few stories making the rounds this morning. Starting with this poor guy who was turned into a chew toy by his neighbor’s three boxers. According to their owner, Ralph Kimery, the dogs have never shown any signs of aggression before including other times David Potts has been by his home. But on Sunday evening, the dogs thought Potts looked mighty tasty. After encircling him they latched on to his legs and arms biting of chunks. They did not stop attacking until Kimery called them off. “I couldn’t have lasted much longer, and it seems like the dogs had no intentions at all of stopping. So I don’t know if they would have,” Potts said. “I was fighting for my life and they would have killed me.” He would require 30 stitches on his arms and legs. The dogs were taken to the animal shelter, where they were under quarantine. Kimery has owned the dogs for three years, and states that if they are determined to be viscous, he’ll have no choice but to have them put down.…

FINLEY, Wash. – Here’s a story that has people pretty divided. News reports with headlines such as “Pastor slashes puppy’s throat” and “Pastor Admits To Killing Neighbor’s Puppy” have gotten animal dog lovers pretty riled up. The “puppy” in question was a 6-month old Siberian Husky. The dog had gotten loose, made its way on to Pastor David Rea’s property and was in the process of killing his chickens. When none of his neighbors would step in and help stop his livestock from being slaughtered, he jumped into the fray and killed the dog, reportedly with a knife. “Until you’re in there fighting a dog, you don’t know what to do,” said Rea, pastor of Tri-Cities Baptist Church. “You can’t even imagine. It’s a horribly bad deal.” This act has pissed off some neighbors and readers who are condemning what the man did to protect his property. I just know that had he killed a wolf, or cougar, or an alligator, these pissed off people would be praising the pastor’s actions.…

Elderly Man Injured In Hour-Long Goat Attack

August 28, 2010 at 3:03 am by

Colbert, GA – Police responded to Vestal Davis’ home late Sunday on a report of an alleged goat attack. The 88-year-old victim told officers that he was heading outside to his shop that evening and when he glanced up, he saw his neighbor’s goat standing in his yard. Suddenly and without warning, the goat charged, knocking Vestal to the ground. The critter’s dastardly antics continued for the next hour or so – every time Vestal tried to get on his feet, the goat would knock him back down on his ass. The goat eventually tired of the silly game and wandered off into the man’s shop, allowing the victim to get up and into his house to call 911. Vestal Davis was hospitalized in serious condition after complaining of pain in his arms and neck. In all seriousness, I do hope he recovers from what must have been a frustrating and terrifying ordeal. The goat’s 68-year-old human, who wasn’t aware of the attack until contacted by authorities, told officers the goat must have escaped it’s pen.…

IRON RIDGE, Wis. — Taylor Becker,4, was with her parents visiting family friends when she was attacked by a 5-year-old Boxer named Rocky. She had been playing in the backyard of the home alone with the dog that was tied to a pole on a leash and chain. No one knows what happened to trigger Rocky, but investigators believe the dog slipped out of its leash and then attacked the girl. A neighbor saw the attack from the roadway and ran to the family’s front door, telling them to call 911. CPR was performed on Becker for nine minutes and emergency personnel worked on her for an hour, but Becker would die from blood loss. “She was bitten mutiple times. She did receive help fairly quickly, but these were non-survivable injuries. They were very severe injuries,” Dodge County Medical Examiner P.J. Schoebel said. No criminal charges are expected to be filed, and Rocky has been quarantined at the Dodge County Humane Society. The girl had been at the home before, and the couple who own Rocky have three children of their own so I wonder what the hell happened?…

Review Of Burning Bright (2010)

August 15, 2010 at 5:53 pm by

Tired of watching thrillers re-hashing the same old story? Well here’s a movie with a story so ludicrous that it alone was the reason why I bothered to watch in the first place. Get this: A girl is trapped inside her boarded up home with her severely autistic brother while a hurricane rages outside. But their chances would fare much better out there because inside the home they are being stalked…by a psychotic circus tiger! I shit you not. So now not only does the girl have to find a way out of the house without being eaten, she can’t even touch her little brother or kink up his schedule without him revealing their location when he goes all Frank and Beans while hitting himself in the head. It’s original, it’s absurd, it leaves me wishing i had whatever they where smoking when they came up with the story for BURNING BRIGHT. But please don’t let the absurd sounding plot keep you from checking this film out as surprisingly, it works beautifully.…

Forsyth County, GA – No, this isn’t a story about Morbid’s Friday night hook-up…get your minds outta the gutter, folks.  This is a story about a beaver – a large, angry, spittin’ mad beaver. And though I snicker and snortgiggle at the possibilities, I will try to get the story out with as few puns as possible. Wildlife officials in Forsyth County are keeping their eyes peeled for the pissy little beaver after getting a report that the critter attacked a local fisherman. Russ McTindal was just kinda hanging out, hoping to reel in a fish or two when the rascally beaver came at him. When the beaver got uncomfortably close, McTindal attempted to shoo the critter away by smacking and poking it with his rod, but that only angered the little stinker. Teeth bared, the beaver then tried to eat the man. McTindal was left with some battle scars – bites to his leg and arm. “He was actually attacking me. I hadn’t provoked him or anything,” he said.…

Dog Injures Three At Dollar General Store

July 30, 2010 at 11:30 am by

Lorain, OH – Police were forced to shoot a lab/shepherd mix that wandered into a Dollar General store and attacked three customers Saturday afternoon. Witnesses say the attack was sudden and unprovoked. One of the victims, Calvin Frost, said that when he turned to look at the dog, it attacked. “When he attacked I put my hand up, he bit me in my hand and after he bit me, I took off running. He bit me in the back of my calf down here and I was running and when he bit me, I fell and when I fell, I shattered my knee,” he said. “You know, he didn’t look like he was going to do nothing, and then he just snapped.” Another victim was a young boy who ran out of the store before he could be identified. When police arrived on scene, the dog charged. Between the two officers, the dog was shot a total of seven times. The source article says the dog was later euthanized. Wait….what?…

Lakeview, MA – Been a few days without a dog attack story, so here ya’ go. A 110-pound, 1-year-old American Bulldog went batshit crazy inside its home the other day and makes me wonder why anyone would chance kids around these types of dogs. Karen Bruno O’Leary, 38, was babysitting a 5-year-old boy when her dog attacked him, possibly over some food the boy had in his hands. After mauling the boy’s face, O’Leary tried to intervene, only to have her dog attack her as well. Her 6-year-old daughter called 911 screaming for help and when police arrived, they found the dog still attacking O’Leary as she lay on the ground. She screamed at police to shoot her dog, which one officer did after the dog went after him. He shot it four times before the dog ran off and went after another policeman and a firefighter. Four more bullets were put into the dog, but it wasn’t until a ninth bullet was put into the dog’s head, that it finally ending its rampage.…

  • Another day, another bunch of idiots. Should have figured that yesterday was just the calm before the storm. There was so much terrible shit going on in the news today that we just didn’t have time to get to it all. Here is a small sampling:
  • PEARLAND, Texas – A woman was attacked by two pit bulls outside of her home and she and her husband are claiming that the only reason that she is alive today is because of their cat, Lima. It wasn’t until Lima jumped into the fight that the dogs were distracted long enough for the woman to be dragged into the house.
  • DICKINSON, Texas – Some kids suffered minor chemical burns after one of their dumbass classmates mixed something (more than likely toilet bowl cleaner) with aluminum foil underneath the gym bleachers. The 13-year-old was arrested and charged with arson. You almost made it to the end of the year, kid.
  • RIVERVIEW, Fla – Michael Major was arrested after some fellow motorists witnessed him tossing three live kittens out of his car window, running over one of them.

  • I hope you all had a great holiday. Mine was pretty fantastic and I didn’t even get drunk this time. Here are a few stories that caught my eye today that I just didn’t have time or desire to do anything with.
  • Orlando, FLA – In a bit of good news for once, it is being reported that Casey Anthony, currently on trial charged with the murder her daughter Caylee Anthony, had a bit of an accident at the courthouse today. She fell after her restraints became entangled while getting out of the Orange County Corrections Department van. Officers were unable to catch her before she fell forward and landed on her dicksuckers. She was taken to a medical facility to treat a busted lip and a chipped tooth.
  • DALY CITY, Calif. – Police believe that tainted drugs are responsible for the death of 23-year-old Anthony Mata who took some Ecstasy at the “etd.POP 2010” music festival Saturday night at the Cow Palace.  Eleven other people were hospitalized after attending the festival due to apparently tainted doses of the drug Ecstasy.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Thursday should have been a great day for Evan Smalley, 8, and his sister Nadia, 10, seeing as it was their last day at Bordeaux Elementary before beginning summer vacation. But the pair missed their school bus that morning and began walking to school a little over a mile away. As they passed one of the houses along the road, a Chihuahua and a Beagle mix began barking at them. Frightened, the siblings ran out into the road where they were struck by a 40-year-old woman driving a 2003 Pontiac Grand Prix. Both children were taken to Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital in critical condition. The owner of the two dogs, 59-year-old Lottie Berry, has been charged for not having the dogs secured and not having their vaccinations up to date. GODDAMN CHIHUAHUA AND BEAGLE MIXES! While the media focuses on pit bull attacks, these little bastards are out there under the radar, trying to kill the future of America. Seriously, I hope the kids pull through and this incident ends up as nothing more than a story they will be re-telling to friends for many, many years.…
