Katherine RizkSUMMERVILLE, SC – Katherine Rizk, 48, is in the ICU after her husband’s pit bull attacked her on Sunday, ripping off her arm.

The incident happened Sunday night when witnesses heard Rizk screaming for help. Stanton Boothby happened to be driving by and saw Rizk being dragged around by her husband’s pit bull.

Boothby got out of his car and ran to help, using the first item he could get his hands on – a guitar stand.

“When I saw this happening, I grabbed it out of the back of the car and went to the dog and I said, ‘Dog, off!’ and I just pushed like this. I never hit the dog, he just looked up and when he saw it coming he backed up.”

Neighbors had already called 911 by this time, and responding officers arrived and distracted the dog while another applied a tourniquet to Rizk’s “shredded” arm that was damaged almost up to her armpit. A tourniquet was also applied to Rizk’s legs, where she had more injuries.…

westoverPALATKA, FL – Police have charged an 11-year-old boy with battery after they say he choked a 4-year-old child who is currently hospitalized in critical condition.

Police responded to a home at the Westover Mobile Home Park after receiving a 911 call around 4 a.m. regarding a 4-year-old child who was not breathing.

The responding officer performed CPR on the boy until paramedics arrived and transported him to the hospital.

Police noticed the injured child had strangulation marks on his neck, so they began interviewing the 12 people who lived in the home – six adults and six children eleven years old and under – and eventually determined that an 11-year-old boy was responsible for choking the toddler.

Police arrested the boy in the presence of his mother and placed him in a juvenile detention center on a charge of aggravated battery resulting in serious damage.

Capt. Dick Schauland of the Sheriff’s Office said the 11-year-old had only been back in the home a short time after returning from a Miami rehab program.…

Neal FallsCHARLESTON, WV – A prostitute in West Virginia shot and killed 45-year-old Neal Falls with his own gun after he tried to kill her, and may have very well stopped a serial killer’s cross-country murder spree.

According to “Heather” she had arranged a hookup with Falls via her online ad on Backpage that described her as a “sexy, red-headed sweetheart.”

But things turned bad real quick when Falls burst into Heather’s apartment brandishing a gun and asked, “live or die?”

Falls then grabbed Heather by the throat and tried to choke the life out of her. But Falls underestimated the 5-foot-6-inch, 130-pound Heather, who had no intentions of dying that day.

“When he strangled me, I grabbed my rake, and when he laid the gun down to get the rake out of my hands, I shot him,” Heather said. “I grabbed the gun and shot behind me I knew he was there to kill me.”

Heather, suffering from a separated shoulder and a broken vertebrae, ran to a neighbor’s apartment and called 911.…

Michael DelkNASHVILLE, TN — Police have arrested 37-year-old Michael Delk for the sexual exploitation of his three-month-old daughter.

Police first started investigating Delk after getting a call that he’d smacked his wife around at the Roadway Inn motel where they both lived with their baby.

Delk was arrested and during a follow-up investigation, police were told that there were some images on Delk’s cellphone that they may be interested in.

What police found on the phone, aside from over 30 images of children engaged in sexual activity, was images of Delk having some sexy time with his baby daughter.

Delk is now in jail on $76,000 bond on charges of especially aggravated sexual exploitation of a minor and sexual exploitation of minors. Police say additional charges against Delk are anticipated.

If the allegations are true, maybe we can also anticipate fellow inmates stomping Delk’s head into mush. Or Delk’s limbs twitching against his cell floor after he hangs himself with his shirt. One can dream.…

Selena LewisNEWTON, NC — Authorities say 16-year-old Selena Lewis was killed when a man accidentally shot her while she took a picture of him holding a rifle.

Lewis was with Christopher Lynch, 21, and a man that she had just met, Clayton Webb Jr., 21, when they went to the home of a man selling a Ruger .22 caliber rifle that Webb was interested in purchasing.

The seller was not home, but he had left the rifle in his truck so they could check it out. According to Catawba County Sheriff’s Office Capt. Joel Fish, Lewis suggested they take a picture of the rifle.

Webb told officers that he didn’t realize that there was a magazine in the rifle, and everyone figured it out the hard way when he accidentally fired the rifle and hit Lewis in the chest as she was taking a picture of him. Lewis was rushed to a nearby hospital, but died before she could be flown to a Charlotte hospital.

No charges have been filed against Webb or Lynch at this time, but the sheriff’s office is continuing their investigation into the incident.…

Robert DoyleCITRUS COUNTY, FL – Robert Doyle, 51, has been charged with murder after shooting 41-year-old Candelerio Gonzalez to death in front of his family during a road rage incident.

What do you get when you put two men with anger issues in the same place, at the same time, if one of them also happens to be armed with a gun? If you guessed one man dead in the middle of a neighborhood street and the other man charged with murder, you would be correct.

Doyle was with his wife in one vehicle, while Gonzalez was in another with his wife, daughter and grandchild. No word on what happened, exactly, but Doyle did something on the road that really, really pissed Gonzalez off. So much so that Gonzalez decided to follow Doyle home to get an address for police.

So while Doyle was being chased home by Gonzalez, both parties were on the phone with 911 reporting the other. You can listen to portions of the 911 calls in the video below, but basically it entailed Doyle telling 911 he was being followed to his home by an unknown individual who he was going to “shoot in the head” with the gun he had “cocked, locked and ready to go.”

Gonzalez’ wife was also talking with 911, explaining they were following an “idiot” who had been driving like a moron and who someone needed to “smack the crap out of.” Despite the dispatcher telling them to disengage and to let the police handle it from there, hot heads prevailed and Doyle pulled in front of his house with Gonzalez pulling up behind him.…
