We aren't quite ready to switch quite yet, but the end result will be a continuous flow of dark and often day-wrecking content from our regular authors as well as other members. Los Angeles – Talk about karma! Brandon Julius Funches, 21, was arguing with is 23-year-old girlfriend while stopped at a rail crossing on San Fernando Road. Witnesses state that at some point, Funches drove his Dodge Magnum around the two cars in front of him, around the crossing arm and parked directly on the tracks in an attempt to kill his girlfriend by letting the oncoming train hit the passenger sid of the car.

At the last minute before the Metrolink commuter train, traveling at 79mph, hit the car, Funches jumped out of the vehicle. The flying debris from the impact killed Funches as he attempted to run away, the girlfriend, while seriously injured, is expected to survive.

Authorities are saying that Funches was ejected from his vehicle, but witnesses say he was running from the vehicle just before impact. Witnesses are also saying that the “debris” that killed Funches was the car itself, although metal was sent flying as far as a block away and some even disabled a truck when it sliced through the engine.…

Woman Raped After Crash; Arrest Made

Triquero Terrell

Cincinnati – On Oct 13th, a young woman was driving down the 3600 block of Blue Rock Road when she was hit from behind by another driver. Both drivers proceeded to pull into a nearby parking lot. The other driver got out of his car, slapped the cell phone out of the young womans hand, beat her unconscience and then raped her.

In April, Triquero Terrell, 26, was arrested on a contempt warrant involving a child support case. A detective noticed that Terrel resembled a sketch made in the October rape case and immediately obtained a DNA swab. The tests have now come back as a match to the rapist in the “bump and run” attack. Terrel’s bond has been set at $2 million and he has been charged with kidnapping and rape.

Just a reminder to you lone female drivers to think twice before pulling over for strangers, especially at night.

Here’s a story that should leave you shaking your head in disgust.

Crystal Board, 24, (pictured left) was placed in jail on charges of child endangerment and felonious assault after she flew into a rage that was directed towards her boyfriends 22-month-old son, Jared Fowler. She bit his cheek and broke his arm in the attack while alone babysitting the boy. After calling her boyfriend, the pair then took the child to Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center. It was then revealed that the boy had a healing broken leg and foot. Not believing Board’s story of her play biting and the child breaking his arm in the slats of a crib, the hospital notified authorities. She was arrested back in December.

Now in jail, Board was now no longer able to care for her own young daughter, Alexis. Hamilton County Job and Family Service social workers placed Alexis with her biological father, 32-year-old Rod Vanloan (pictured right). Vanloan is now charged with the murder of 14-month-old Alexis. On May 5th, Vanloan admitted to kicking Alexis twice while trying to teach her to walk.…

For those of you who did not know, Fox is bringing the Terminator to prime-time television. Starting in January, the Sarah Connor Chronicles will detail what Sarah and her son, and future leader, John, were doing after the events of the second film. The show will be set in the ’90s and involve two separate Terminators. One good and one bad.

For those of you who already know all this, the trailer confirms everyones initial suspicions.

It’ll be crap. It may get popular, but it will be crap.

Artist Spotlight: Monkey3

May 21, 2007 at 10:36 am by

Monkey3

Monkey3 are a psychedelic rock band from Lausanne, Switzerland that are equal to or better than their more popular counterparts, 35007 and Isis. They have not “broke” here in the States, and they may not ever, but that is no excuse to not check them out. Purely instrumental, these guys at times can be compared to some of Tool’s instrumental interludes or even a bit of Pink Floyd. Imagine the Pink Floyd song, Echoes with a harder, more progressive edge. Creating virtual soundscapes that feel like a soundtrack to whatever it is you are doing at the moment you are listening to it, whether is chilling out at your PC or driving in traffic. An absolutely perfect example of headphone music.

“It’s the combination of warm and fuzzy grooves with futuristic samples and keyboards, which almost creates a glacial atmosphere that evokes widescreen ice-covered landscapes or lunar mountain ridges. The band created a “wall of sound” that almost qualified for the “colossal” adjective.” – Stonerrock.com

“Monkey3 proves themselves to be a very talented band who deserves to be discovered”.

Woman Decapitated at Meat Processing Plant

May 21, 2007 at 8:27 am by

A 53-year old married mother of two, a cleaning supervisor for a meat processing factory, was decapitated in a bizarre accident involving a piece of the factory’s machinery she was cleaning. The incident happened around 3.am. Saturday.

Bernard Hoggarth, Delico chief executive, said: “This is horrendous for her family and for everyone who was working at the factory at the time. It’s such a tragic incident — we’ve never experienced anything like it.”

He went on to state that he was not sure how the accident could ahve happened as: “The machine was not a slicer, it doesn’t have blades and there were no exposed parts.”

The Delico plant where the accident occurred produces pre-cooked ham and pork for supermarkets and high street shops and was just sold to Hull-based sausage-maker Cranswick in November.

GALVESTON, Texas — Initially stating that he had accidentally burned his infant daughter with hot water, it was later revealed that the 19-year-old father had actually placed his infant in a microwave for 10 to 20 seconds. The baby suffered burns to the side of her face and hand and was in critical, but stable condition on Friday. If convicted, Joshua Mauldin could receive a prison term of five to 99 years, as well as a fine of up to $10,000. The mother of the 2-month-old baby, who had went to a restaurant to pick up food at the time of the incident, is now pleading that you do not blame her husband for cooking the infant for 20 seconds, but rather blame Satan.…
