In The Mean Time...

Hey, wondering where we went? No worries, we are just changing format and conducting some testing before we flip the switch. For now, you can get all of our new stuff by clicking here.. We aren't quite ready to switch quite yet, but the end result will be a continuous flow of dark and often day-wrecking content from our regular authors as well as other members. It's a work in progress and we are still working on some design and function stuff, but the updated content is now coming through.

Well, after Bill Gates appearance on the Today Show, this story has been making the rounds on all the tech sites. He was there to show of the Microsoft Surface. Basically an interactive table. I am not using the term basically to trivilaize the product, as it is pretty cool. I would go on to explain what it can do, but watch the video for yourself.

Now, if this table can do all of these things reliably, how much would you be willing to pay?

May 28, 2007 at 8:09 pm by

A film from Czechoslovakia and based off the 1932 novel by Vítezslav Nezval, a story detailing the dream a 13 year old girl named Valerie is having at the same time she is going through her first menstruation. Director Jaromil Jires delivers a surreal, dream-like movie with amazing sound and vivid, lasting visuals. Valerie and Her Week of Wonders is Alice in Wonderland meets Emmanuelle; a sensory feast detailing a young woman’s sexual awakening.…

Dead End Drive-In takes place when society is at the brink of a complete upheaval akin to the society seen in another Australian film, Mad Max. A society that has just about collapsed but still being held together – barely – by government officials and law enforcement. Prospects look bleak for the youth, as more and more are choosing to become part of the problem rather than part of a solution. One particular avenue some of these kids decide to travel is to join roving gangs called Car Boys. These gangs stalk the cityscape, fighting law enforcement and tow truck drivers all in the desire to steal all the usable parts from cars to build their own, including stripping cars immediately after they have been involved in an accident. With society at the brink of anarchy and crime escalating out of control, the government has initiated a rather unusual program to battle the phenomena.…

May 28, 2007 at 12:05 pm by

During a raid on an Al Qaeda safe house a few weeks ago, American forces found a torture manual. The manual has detailed illustrations on different torture techniques to use such as using blow torches, vices and eye removal. Also found in the house were pictures of individuals who had endured some of these techniques. Other items found in the house included electric drills, hammers, blow torches, meat cleavers, pliers and wire cutters, chains, screw drivers, whips and handcuffs.

Fleur Brown, winner of the European Gang Bang trophy after having sex with 466 men within four-and-a-half hours, was caught as she negotiated selling the girl for sex to a reporter posing as a rich businessman. She intended to use the money to buy a car.

The 13-year-old girl in question once played Brown in a film about her life. Brown, a confessed crack addict, not only supplied the girl with drugs, but also told undercver officers that the girl was willing to lose her virginity, try anal sex, and was ok with the “client” not using a condom.

Judge Timothy King stated:

“Since December 18th and 19th, 2004, there seems to have been a rethink by you in the way you were leading your life. In the past not only were you blinded by the drug but also the type of work you were undertaking. Your life appears to have changed substantially. You have managed by your efforts to put behind you your drug habits.”

Instead of the possible 14-year sentence she could have recieved, she was given a 12-month suspended sentence.…

Yeah, yeah…even more Guitar Hero news. The Guitar Hero Encore: Rock the ’80s website has opened and while it is only one page, it does have 3 extra tracks to add to the list of known tracks.

* “Balls To The Wall” by Accept

* “The Warrior” by Scandal

Personally, I am glad to see Only A Lad on the list. Great song and should be fun to play.

I love these games and have played them all on the PC. But a release of this for the 360 that has all the games plus additions is an easy buy for me and my son.…

H.P. Lovecraft fans have always lamented at the absence of any faithful, good adaptations of Lovecraft’s work. Sure, there have been notable films that were inspired by Lovecraft’s writings, but there has yet to be a film that accurately and faithfully took an H.P. Lovecraft story from the page to the screen. That is until now. With The Call of Cthulhu, The H.P. Lovecraft Historical Society have created a film that any other H.P. Lovecraft films should be judged. What is even more amazing is that the film was painstakingly created to look as if it had been made in the 1920s. It is black and white and silent (complete with title cards). It is also the best H.P. Lovecraft adaptation to date.…
