Cory MorrisMINNEAPOLIS, MN – Police have charged 21-year-old Cory Morris with murder after he killed his baby by punching her in the face with a closed fist over a dozen times.

On Saturday, Morris was babysitting 4-month-old Emersyn Morris while his girlfriend, Jenny Anderson, was at work.

Anderson tried to contact Morris multiple times throughout the day but no one would hear from Morris until almost 5 pm when he called Anderson and his mother.

Morris told them both that he was going to jail because he had done something to the baby. They both told him to call 911.

When paramedics arrived at the home, Emersyn was unconscious and Morris was covered in blood and had a swollen hand. Emersyn was rushed to the hospital where she died from blunt force trauma.

Morris told police that he had been watching television when his daughter started making noises. He said he took the girl out of her swing, carried her into her bedroom and placed her on a changing table.

When Emersyn continued making noises, he attempted to quiet her by punching her approximately 15 times in the face and 7 times in the chest with a closed fist.  …

Austin Kelly HarrouffMARTIN COUNTY, FL – Police have arrested 19-year-old Austin Harrouff after the Florida State University student murdered a couple at random and was found chewing off one of the victims’ face.

Police say it started Monday night while Harrouff was with is family at a sports bar and restaurant. Harrouff reportedly stormed out of the restaurant, aggravated over the slow service.

His parents were so worried about his behavior that they called police and some of his fraternity brothers in hopes of locating him.

About 45 minutes later, Harrouff made contact with Michelle and John Stevens, who were sitting inside their open garage as they often did at night.

For reasons currently unknown, Harrouff viciously attacked and killed the couple with a switchblade and multiple “weapons of opportunity” found inside the garage.

“Both victims sustained massive trauma on multiple portions of their body. There were lacerations, stab wounds and blunt trauma,” Martin County Sheriff William Snyder said.

A neighbor heard the screams and witnessed Harrouff on top of John in the driveway.…

Debra HarbeckALBUQUERQUE, NM – The family of 56-year-old Debra Harbeck are suing a nightclub after Harbeck choked and died during a corn dog eating contest at the establishment.

The incident happened back in January when Debra Harbeck was out celebrating her daughter’s 22nd birthday.

While they were drinking at the Fire and Ice nightclub, Harbeck entered into a corn dog eating contest where contestants got on their knees in front of men who were holding corn dogs near their groin area.

The person who ate the corn dog the fastest would win a prize to go along with whatever dignity they had left. Unfortunately for Harbeck, the eager beaver she bit off a bit more than she could chew.

According to the complaint, Harbeck began choking on the corn dog, leading to patrons applying the Heimlich maneuver and CPR before paramedics arrived. The lack of oxygen to her brain caused irreparable brain damage and she would die at the hospital the next day.

Now her daughter, father and her grandmother are suing the club along with anyone connected to the property and its liquor license. …

Shavone WhiteheadBROOKHAVEN, GA — Police say 8-month old Kamonie Whitehead died after the girl’s mother and her boyfriend beat her with a belt.

The couple called 911 on August 1 to report Kamonie was making a “loud gurgling noise” and that when they checked on her they found her unresponsive. The girl’s mother, Shavone Whitehead, performed CPR on her daughter until paramedics arrived.

Kamonie was taken to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston Hospital, where doctors would find the baby suffering from injuries to her legs, buttocks, chin and arms, multiple rib fractures and a possible skull fracture.

Sadly, after being on life support for the last two weeks, Kamonie was pronounced dead Saturday night.

When police questioned Whitehead about the girl’s injuries, she initially denied she was responsible, but later admitted the couple would beat her baby with a belt to punish her.

Just how bad could this baby have been? With the injuries she suffered its like she routinely set the house on fire, stole the family car for drug-fueled parties in downtown Atlanta, and was dealing crack to the neighbors from her crib.…

Sierah JoughinARCHBOLD, OH — Sierah Joughin, the 20-year-old found dead in an Ohio cornfield last month, died of asphyxiation from a large plastic gag that was found in her mouth.

For any of you who may have missed this story, Joughin was reported missing after going on a bike ride on July 19. Her bike would be found later that night in a cornfield, surrounded by trampled corn and evidence of a struggle.

Three days later, police would arrest 57-year-old James Worley in connection with her abduction. Worley was convicted of abduction in 1990 after he hit a female bicyclist with his truck, then hit her over the head before telling her to do what he said or he would kill her.

After forcing the woman into his truck, he managed to handcuff one of her wrists before she managed to escape. Worley would plead guilty to the abduction and serve about three years in prison before being paroled in 1993.

Hours after his arrest on Friday, police would find Joughin’s dead body miles from where her bike was found.…

Kathleen Marie SteeleLARGO, FL – Police have arrested 62-year-old Kathleen Steele after she left her 6-year-old son alone with her newborn, and he proceeded to beat the baby to death.

Steele has been charged with aggravated manslaughter of a child after she went to a cellphone store to have her phone repaired, leaving her 6 and 3-year-old son alone inside her minivan with their 13-day-old sister.

When the baby girl started crying, her older brother killed her by beating the ever-living crap out of her. But before I get into those details, let’s discuss the events that lead up to them. Besides, I’m sure some of you have already asked yourselves why a 62-year-old woman has a newborn.

Back in 2009, Steele and her late husband, Philip, was featured on the reality show I’m Pregnant and 55 Years Old. She explained that she worked as a broker, putting in 60-80 hours a week, when she met her husband in her 40s.

The couple tried for 12 years to conceive a child via vitro fertilization, and Steele finally became pregnant in 2009 at the age of 55.…

Raistlin MartinFAYETTEVILLE, NC – A 15-year-old boy is in jail today, accused of killing his 63-year-old grandfather with a hatchet

Police were called to a home just before midnight Monday where they found Joseph Emmett Naulty dead inside the home.

The victim’s son, Joseph Ezekiel Naulty, told police he was in another room when he heard his father yell. When he ran to the room to investigate, he found his father dead from a hatchet blow.

Police would arrest the victim’s grandson, identified as Raistlin Martin, and charge him with first-degree murder. He is being held in the Cumberland County Regional Juvenile Detention Center. Cumberland County District Attorney Billy West said he will seek to have the teen charged as an adult.

Police have not released any details on a motive, and neighbors didn’t know the family well as the three males just moved into the house two months ago. Before moving into the home, the elder Naulty is from Alabama and moved in with his son and grandson after the death of his wife in February.…

Charles SadlerCOLUMBUS, OH – Police say a Good Samaritan is responsible for a man sitting in jail today, accused of raping a 3-year-old girl inside an abandoned garage.

According to police, a woman was driving when she heard screams coming from a garage. The woman decided to investigate and found 34-year-old Charles Sadler in the process of raping a little girl.

Realizing he was busted, Sadler fled the garage with the girl. But the woman called 911 and followed Sadler while constantly updating police with their location. Police arrived quickly and took Sadler into custody several blocks later. Emergency personnel took the child to the hospital.

Sadler is currently in the Franklin County Jail on a $200,000 bond facing sexual assault charges. His next court appearance is scheduled for August 15.

Sadler’s family, who were watching the girl, told police they noticed that he and the child were missing, but thought Sadler was somewhere passed out drunk. They added they would not be helping Sadler with his legal troubles.

The child’s mother posted on Facebook that Sadler was obsessed with her 3-year-old, a little girl who looked up to Sadler as an uncle.…

Tanis Lloyd UkenaLAYTON, UT — A Subway employee is in some hot water after investigators say he deliberately put meth and THC into a police sergeant’s drink, causing the man to be hospitalized.

The incident happened on Monday when the uniformed sergeant went through the drive-thru of the Subway located at 1142 E. state Route 193. After drinking some of the lemonade he had ordered, the officer noted that it “tasted funny.”

“While approaching an intersection that had a red light, he had difficulty getting his foot to move to the brake pedal. (He) drove to the Layton Police Department, where he was observed to have signs of impairment. He was unable to process information and drifted off, and was unable to focus on questions being asked of him,” according to a Davis County Jail report.

The officer was taken to the hospital where it was apparent he was under the influence of some kind of drug. An ion scanner test found that traces of meth and THC were in a sample of officer’s drink.…

Arizona StabbingARIZONA – Police have taken a 16-year-old boy into custody after the teen allegedly stabbed his 3-year-old brother to death and injured his 9-year-old sister.

The attack happened Saturday night while the siblings’ mother was at work. According to Sheriff Joe Arpaio, two other siblings, boys ages 4 and 17-years-old, were also home at the time of the stabbing.

Neighbors called 911 after the witnessed the older teen carrying his injured sister and 4-year-old brother out of the house looking for help.

When police arrived on the scene, the suspect ran from the home covered in blood and was apprehend after a short foot pursuit.

Police would find the 3-year-old, who has special needs, dead inside the home. The 9-year-old girl was treated for wounds to her upper torso and later released from the hospital.

The children’s mother didn’t find out what happened until she returned home from work.

The suspect is currently in the Durango Juvenile Detention Center facing charges of second-degree murder, aggravated assault and endangerment. Arpaio said it is very likely the boy will be charged as an adult.…

swimming poolPUEBLO, CO – Two sisters — ages 3 and 5 — and their 17-year-old female baby sitter drowned in a mobile home park swimming pool Monday afternoon.

Police responded to the Pueblo Grande Village mobile home park shortly after 2 p.m. yesterday after receiving a call about a drowning.

“Upon arrival, officers located three individuals who appeared to have drown in a swimming pool,” police said in a news release.

Despite attempting CPR on 3-year-old Azucena Gandarilla; her 6-year-old sister Amaya Gandarilla; and their 17-year-old baby sitter, Joo Lee, all three would later be pronounced dead by the Pueblo County Coroner’s Office.

Residents say the pool is normally packed with kids in the summertime and ranges from 2 to 8 feet deep. There are also signs posted that warn people to swim at their own risk as there are no lifeguards at the pool.

According to Capt. Joe Garcia of the Pueblo Police Department, an investigation into the drownings is ongoing but no foul play is suspected.

“I think it’s just a horrible tragedy,” Garcia said.…

Amina El-ZayatDELAND, FL – A Florida woman is facing serious charges after police say she encouraged her three sons to use BB guns to shoot a homeless man hanging around her car wash.

According to reports, 35-year-old Travis Martin called police at about 1:16 a.m. Sunday to let them know that he was shot at by some young boys in an SUV.

Martin, who is homeless, said he did not want to press charges and just wanted police to know what happened. However, Martin called back to say the SUV had returned and the kids had shot at him again while yelling vulgarities.

When an officer arrived at the location, Martin flagged them down and pointed out the SUV. The officer stopped the SUV, driven by 36-year-old Amina El-Zayat, and had her and her three juvenile sons get out of the vehicle.

Inside the vehicle the officer would find two air soft rifles, both replicas of M4 assault rifles, and one of which was fully automatic that could fire 15 pellets at a time.…
