Back in July of 2023, two weeks after the suspect, David Morin, 34, and his ex-girlfriend separated, Morin allegedly called and harassed the victim multiple times throughout the day, according to police.
When the victim did not return any of Morin’s calls, he then arrived at her apartment and forced himself inside around 1 a.m. that morning, police said.
After allegedly breaking a window to get into the apartment, Morin found employment documents of the victim, police said. This discovery incited an altercation between Morin and the victim over the victim seeking employment at a gentleman’s club, police said.
The defendant then allegedly choked the victim for several seconds, before releasing his grip, according to police.
When the victim went towards the front door, Morin allegedly grabbed her by the shoulders and bit her nose, tearing a piece off in the process, police said.
Morin fled the scene, and the victim was taken to the hospital, where she was referred to a plastic surgeon, police said.
