gun firingAUBURN HILLS, MI – A woman with a concealed weapons permit shot at a suspected shoplifter as they sped out of a Home Depot parking lot.

Police say a shoplifter was leaving Home Depot around 2 p.m. Tuesday and was followed by the store’s loss prevention employee.

As they tried to stop him, the suspect got into an SUV and sped out of the parking lot.

This was noticed by another Home Depot customer who was in the parking lot and had a concealed weapons permit. She decided to intervene and fired shots at the fleeing SUV, possibly blowing out one of the vehicle’s tires in the process.

The suspect got away and police are now on the lookout for the person who shoplifted from the Home Depot, as well as the person who was driving the getaway vehicle.

But the real story here isn’t the fact that someone shoplifted from Home Depot, but rather someone decided that this was a life or death situation and shot at the goddamn car.…

Maykayla DyerWHITE PINE, TN — Police have an 11-year-old boy in custody after they say he shot an 11-year-old neighbor with his father’s shotgun after an argument over a puppy.

According to reports, police responding to a shooting call at a trailer park found McKayla Dyer on the ground with a single gunshot wound to the chest. She would be rushed to the hospital where she was pronounced dead.

Witnesses told police that the shooter was Dyer’s next-door-neighbor, an 11-year-old boy, who used his father’s 12-gauge shotgun from inside his home.

The fifth-grader was arrested and charged with first-degree murder in juvenile court. A detention hearing is scheduled for Monday and a judge will later determine if the boy will be charged as an adult.

Police have not releases a motive, but neighbors say that Dyer and the boy had been arguing about a puppy moments before the shooting occurred.

“Wanting to see a puppy, the little girl laughed and told him no…and that was it,” said neighbor Chasity Arwood.

Sheriff Bud McCoig said the shooting happened in a neighborhood where all the children know and play together.…

Students are being searched by authorities before being released from the school. They, along with faculty, are being bused to a nearby fairground where they can be picked up.

Mark ConstantinoRENO, NV – Mark and Debby Constantino, a couple often featured on Travel Channel’s “Ghost Adventures”, are dead in what police are calling a murder-suicide.

On Tuesday morning, a woman called police to report she had returned home to find her male roommate dead. She also told them her other roommate, Debby Constantino, was missing.

Through their investigation, police quickly determined that the missing woman’s cell phone was pinging from an apartment owned by an adult child of Debby and her estranged husband, 53-year-old Mark Constantino.

As police approached the apartment, Mark shot at them through the door and told them to go away. Negotiators from local police and the FBI tried to get Constantino to come out and surrender, but after a few hours and no response a SWAT team made entry into the apartment.

Inside they would find the dead bodies of both Mark and Debby. Police say Mark was responsible for the death of the male at the first location and had kidnapped his wife before killing her and then himself.…

hortonAVON PARK, FL – I plan on being a feisty old fart. I’m going to shimmy my old lady ass as I shuffle board in the morning, and drink a few margaritas while I play strip poker in the evening. I’m going to be amazing.

What I won’t be doing is waving my gun at the help, or being a general cantankerous ass like 91-year-old Max Horton, who was arrested after threatening to kill a landscaper for getting grass clippings on his car.

Robert Hendrix was working at Horton’s home when the elderly man confronted him about grass clippings that had landed on his car. Hendrix, who has known Horton for 14 years, brushed the grass off the car but Horton went apeshit, saying he was going to “fix the problem himself.”

Horton pulled out a gun from a pouch on his hip, then ordered Hendrix to his knees while telling Hendrix he was going to kill him. Hendrix begged “please don’t kill me” while backing up on his knees. Johnny Barnes, Hendrix’s coworker, saw this unfolding and approached Horton as he fired off a shot at Hendrix and then aimed the gun at Barnes.…

John HeislerSAINT PETERSBURG, FL — Moments after 18-year-old Malachi Heisler shot and killed a masked intruder, he realized the dead man was his estranged father.

Early Tuesday morning, Malachi said he woke up to his mother’s please for help. “I woke up to my name being called,” the teem told reporters. “I heard the words Malachi and help, that’s all I heard when I woke up.”

When he walked out of his bedroom armed with a rifle, he saw his mother being forced to the ground by a man wearing full tactical gear and ski mask. He was holding what looked to be a firearm that he first pointed at Malachi’s mother, then at the teen.

That’s when Malachi took aim and fired. He ended up hitting the intruder in the head and only then did he realize that he had just killed his estranged father, 46-year-old John Heisler.

According to Pinellas County sheriff’s reports, John Heisler smashed a window at the home at around midnight. When his ex-wife and her boyfriend went to investigate, he forced his way into the home armed with two BB guns.…

home aloneSTLOUIS, MO – Police say that an 11-year-old boy has shot and killed a 16-year-old intruder.

According to Sgt. Brian Schellman, the teen and an accomplice tried to get inside a home where the young boy had been left alone with his 4-year-old sister. However, the third time they tried entering the home would be their last.

As the unnamed teen entered an unlocked front door, the 11-year-old used a firearm to shoot the teen once in the head, killing him. When police arrived, they found the teen lying inside the front foyer.

His accomplice ran off after hearing the shot, but were later picked up by police. One neighbor said she doesn’t believe the full truth is being told. She said the two boys were arguing on the front porch of the home when the 11-year-old took out a gun and fired.

“He was always was just sitting right there on the porch,” she said. “He never did once go inside the house.”

No word on why the boy had been left alone in the home to care for his younger sister, but police say the gun he used belonged to his mother.…

Robert DentonBRISTOL, TN – Robert Denton, 19, has been accused of ambushing his family then fatally shooting his mother, stepfather and grandmother as six children watched.

Police say that on Saturday evening, Denton walked into his home armed with 100 rounds of ammunition and dressed clad in camouflage clothing.

While six children in the home looked on, Denton shot his mother, stepfather and grandmother. A neighbor said he heard a barrage of 10 to 12 gunshots and screaming that lasted less than a minute.

“It was just a barrage of ‘pow, pow, pow,” said Darrel Gray. “We heard somebody. They said, ‘Daddy, Daddy, Daddy.'”

After he was finished, Denton walked outside and laid down his gun. He then walked to a nearby trailer where his grandfather, Curtis Rose, was doing some repairs. Denton told the man, who hadn’t heard the gunshots over the noise of the power tools he was using, he needed to call 911.

Rose immediately went into the home where he found his family had been shot. He moved the children into another room, grabbed a pistol, and took off after his grandson.…

Deleon SmithHOUSTON, TX — Police say 19-year-old Deleon Smith accidentally killed himself taking selfies while holding a gun.

The incident happened in an apartment on Tuesday as Smith and a cousin were taking pictures of themselves holding a gun they found, then posting the pics to social media.

While his cousin was in another room, Smith accidentally fired the gun while taking a selfie and shot himself in the throat. Police say they do not suspect foul play and have taken his cell phone as part of their investigation.

“It’s like still unbelievable,” said Smith’s grandmother. “Yesterday was my birthday. He came to wish me a happy birthday. And then to hear this kind of news. He was starting community college tomorrow.”

I would say that this young man was a perfect Darwin Award nominee, but he had two daughters, ages one and three.

Not surprisingly, Smith isn’t the only person on D’D to die while taking selfies. Last year, Oscar Otero Aguilar died after accidentally shooting himself in the head while posing with a gun for a Facebook picture.…

Alison ParkerMONETA, VA – Local CBS news station WDBJ reporter Alison Parker and cameraman Adam Ward have died after being shot to death during a live broadcast.

Alison Parker, 24, was in the middle of an interview with Smith Mountain Lake Chamber Director Vicki Gardner at around 6:45 a.m. when a man walked up and fired about eight shots at Parker and her cameraman, 27-year-old Adam Ward.

You can see Parker reacting and screaming during these shots as the camera falls to the ground and captures a man in black pointing a handgun at Ward. The segment quickly cuts back to the news room to a very shocked anchor.

WDBJ’s general manager Jeff Marks would come on the air later to confirm that both Parker and Smith had been shot to death.

“We do not know the motive. We do not know who the killer is,” Marks said. “We do know that Franklin County sheriff… they are working very diligently to track down both the motive and the person responsible for this terrible crime against two fine journalists.”

The Franklin County Sheriff Department is saying that three people had been shot in the incident, so I am assuming Vicki Gardner was shot and is currently alive.…

David ConleyHOUSTON, TX – Police have arrested 49-year-old David Conley after he admitted to breaking into his ex-girlfriend’s home and killing her along with her new husband and six of her children.

Police say they first showed up at the home of Valerie Jackson on Saturday morning after receiving a phone call from Jackson’s sister, who was concerned to learn that her sister’s ex, Conley, was at her sister’s home.

Conley and Jackson had a tumultuous relationship over the years, marked with a series of domestic assaults that included Conley bashing Jackson’s head into a refrigerator and Conley serving some time for wrapping an electrical cord around a baby’s throat. Jackson finally had enough in July and kicked Conley out and changed the locks.

Police would visit the home several times that day, but would find no need to make a forced entry until an officer looked through a window and saw a child lying on the ground inside. Once the deputies made their way into the home, they made a quick retreat after Conley opened fire on them.…

blue moonPENSACOLA, FL – We haven’t reported on a murder tied to witchcraft in years, but that’s exactly what police say was involved in the murders of a Florida family who were found beat with a hammer and with their throats slit.

Voncile Smith, 77, was found dead in her Pensacola home on Friday, along with her sons, 49-year-old John William and 47-year-old Richard Smith.

They all had been beaten to death with a claw hammer and their throats had been slit. Smith had also been shot in the neck that police believe was done to incapacitate him.

According to Escambia County Sheriff David Morgan, the way the family were killed and the way their bodies were positioned, leads them to believe that their deaths were a “ritualistic killing” tied to last week’s blue moon.

Authorities have questioned a person of interest but haven’t made an arrest or released the person’s identity. They have said there was no forced entry into the home or robbery, and that their person of interest is a white male who practices witchcraft.…
