JEFFERSON, GA — Three women have been charged after they posted a Snapchat video of an elderly woman suffering a stroke at the senior living facility where they worked.

The women — Jorden Bruce, 21; Mya Moss, 21; and Lizeth Ramirez, 19 — worked at the Bentley Senior Living Facility in Jefferson.

On June 13, an 76-year-old woman at the facility suffered a stroke so a hospice nurse was notified.

It was going to take a little time before the nurse arrived, so the three women were to closely monitor the patient.

Instead, one of them decided this was a perfect time to ignore the poor lady and post a video to Snapchat while in the patient’s room.

“One of them was smoking a vape pen. They were using profanities and (making obscene hand gestures) at the camera,” a Jefferson Police Department detective said.

The person who posted the video to Snapchat titled it “The End,” police say.

Another employee saw the video online and contacted police.

All three women were arrested and have been charged with exploiting an elderly and disabled person.
