Hey, wondering where we went? No worries, we are just changing format and conducting some testing before we flip the switch. For now, you can get all of our new stuff by clicking here.. We aren't quite ready to switch quite yet, but the end result will be a continuous flow of dark and often day-wrecking content from our regular authors as well as other members. It's a work in progress and we are still working on some design and function stuff, but the updated content is now coming through.

JOHNSON COUNTY, MO – Two men are behind bars after they allegedly robbed a woman, bound her, then set her on fire after pouring gasoline on her.

According to court documents, 22-year-old Vincent Rist and 24-year-old Antonio Bowen broke into a home on Sunday occupied by a 20-year-old woman.

They bound her hands and mouth and grabbed various items, including a shotgun. One of the men hit her in the head with a lamp then poured gasoline on her.

The pair threatened to set her on fire if she did not give them the combination to a gun safe in the home.

When she did not or could not comply with their demand, Rist allegedly ignited the gasoline and told her to burn with the house.

Surprisingly, the woman managed to escape and call for help. She was taken to the burn unit at Research Medical Center suffering from first-, second- and third-degree burns over 30 percent of her body.

Johnson County Sheriff Scott Munsterman confirmed the house was not so lucky and is a complete loss after the fire.

Rist and Bowen were later apprehended and are both charged with one count of arson, one count of first-degree assault, one count of first-degree burglary, one count of first-degree robbery and three counts of armed criminal action.

Both men also received a beautiful, $250,000 cash only bond.

Why no attempted murder charge is beyond me, but it doesn’t matter much as the charges they have currently could see them spending the rest of their lives in prison if convicted.
