CRIMEA – Police say a four-year-old girl drowned after being placed in a car with her murdered parents that was pushed into a lake by their killers.

According to reports, Konstantin and Inna Larkov drove two hours to buy a car they saw advertised online.

The couple, along with their 4-year-old daughter, Arina, arrived at the location where they met 28-year-old Warder Samar and another male who claimed to be the owners of the car.

When the family got out of their car, Samar produced a gun and demanded the cash Konstantin had brought with him. A struggle ensued and Samar shot Konstantin five times in the chest.

Samar then shot Inna in the chest and head. With the help of his accomplice, Samar loaded the couple back in their car and forced a terrified Arina inside the car with the bodies of her dead parents.

The killers then rolled the car into a lake.

Police were called by the couple’s neighbors after the heard the family’s dog whining inside their home. When the couple could not be reached, friends and family began posting missing person posters.

Investigators were able to track down Samar, who worked as a prison security guard, who confessed everything to police and led them to the submerged car containing the bodies of the Larkov family.

“The adults died from numerous bullet wounds. After being killed they were put into their car,” local police said. “No bullet wounds or injuries were found on the child’s body. She was forced into the car alive and drowned.”

Samar is facing life in prison if convicted, but because of the heinousness of the murders, many Crimeans are demanding Russian President Vladimir Putin to bring back the death penalty.
