Orange, Conn — The FBI, state and local police are searching for 12-year-old Isabella “Bella” Oleschuck who was reported missing by her parents on Sunday morning.

Her parents believe their daughter, who is deaf in one ear, left without their knowledge Saturday night. She does not have her hearing aid. “The parents discovered her missing from her room, and there’s no indications at this time of foul play, so we’re covering all angles,” Orange Assistant Police Chief Ed Koether said. “We’re continuing to do the search and will do so until we have successful resolution.”

Dive teams are searching a pond behind Racebrook School and police would like to speak with a young man and woman seen walking near the pond early Sunday morning. At this time police are classifying Oleschuck as an endangered runaway, but are not ruling anything out.

Oleschuck has blue eyes and shoulder length blond hair. She is 5 feet, 4 inches tall and weights about 120 pounds. She might be wearing a light blue jacket, brown felt hooded cape and black rain boots. You are asked to contact Orange Police (203) 891-2130 if you know her whereabouts.
