UPDATE 11/5/08 – David Welker has rejected a plea deal that would have sentenced him to 40 years with a minimum of ten years in prison for the rape of a woman in April in a Wal-Mart parking lot. Welker rejected the deal, saying that he is innocent. He is scheduled for trial beginning December 8.
Orlando, Fla. - If enough bad shit cannot already happen to you while shopping at Wal-Mart, one woman experienced more than long lines, rude customers and absent employees. This woman happened to meet with David Welker, 24. Welker had been waiting in the parking lot of a Wal-Mart for 30 minutes when this woman arrived at 6:15 a.m. with her 15-month-old daughter.
