You just see some idiot jumping from the top of a building, landing smoothly, and walking away as though it were as natural as breathing in and out. It’s not, I can tell you that for sure. Even with a belly full of booze, jumping out of a high window is never really a cool idea – I tried it in college. But the alcohol and the fit of laughter kind of made our legs a bit unstable so it was nothing for them to revolt mid air and say “fuck you” as we were plummeting to the ground. SWANTON, Vermont -Raising a kid can be tough, especially if you are doing it by yourself. One of the biggest hurdles a single parent faces with a young child is day care. It can be expensive as hell. I wouldn’t know as my son was raised by a myriad of young girls I would hook up with who had nowhere to go. Sure it got aggravating when they didn’t know who Sid and Marty Krofft were, but hey, the sex was good (for me) and they were cheap dates. Anyway, I imagine the father of a 2-month-old baby girl was relieved to hear that his father, 46-year-old Thomas West, offered to care for her full-time. Besides, Thomas had moved in with his son and the girl in AugustAugust reviews so it just made sense. What didn’t make sense was the hospital they took her to found that she was suffering from two skull fractures. Initially playing dumb, Thomas eventually admitted to dropping her on the floor and then punching her in the head when he got frustrated with her crying. West was arrested and charged with first-degree aggravated domestic assault. He pleaded not guilty to the assault charge and another violation of parole charge. He is being held without bail. Williston, Vermont–Robert Kolibas’ daughter was hosting a sleep-over last month. Being the kind and generous father that he is, Robert took it upon himself to whip up a couple of Smoothie’s for the kiddos and get them settled in front of the television to watch a flick. Awww…what a very  gracious host! Shortly after consuming the Smoothie’s, both girls fell asleep in front of the TV. Sounds like a successful slumber party, no? Essex, VT -Taryn O’Connor is a classic example of why you should never get your childcare provider from CraigslistCraigslist.  Not without checking references, at least.  O’Connor, 22, is accused of shaking a thirteen-month old boy so hard that he is now in critical condition, having undergone brain surgery for severe head trauma.  And Taryn O’Connor wasn’t supposed to be supervising children at all. UPDATE – Tyler Pillsbury has been found safe in Williston, Vermont, about eight miles from where he was last seen yesterday afternoon. Tyler was spotted in front of a restaurant at about 9:30 this morning, and is being interviewed by State police now.  His parents are on their way to meet him.  It is unclear at this time whether Tyler left of his own free will or where he spent the night, but he appears to be safe and relatively unharmed.

JerichoJericho reviews, VT – Tyler Pillsbury was last seen out riding his bike yesterday after school.  It was about 4:30 p.m. and the thirteen-year-old was riding his black mountain bike along Browns Trace Road and Governor Peck Road in Jericho.  He hasn’t been seen since, and Vermont State Police say the boy’s disappearance is suspicious.  [Read more...]
