SPARTANBURG, SC – Danielle Hughes has been arrested and her two young children removed from her care after she called 911 asking for a priest to come remove the demons from her 5-year-old son.
The 23-year-old called 911 to report that her home was possessed by demons, claiming pictures were falling off the walls and a shadow was standing over her shoulder. She also wanted a priest to exorcise demons she felt were possessing her son.
When police arrived at the woman’s trailer, they found a house that needed a maid more than it needed any type of religious rituals. Deputies say the house was filthy and filled with trash and dead roaches.
The bedroom was full of dirty diapers, trash, and milk bottles half-full of spoiled milk. The refrigerator in the kitchen was full of molded food and a swarm of gnats came out of it when it was opened. Even worse, Hugh’s baby girl was covered in bug bites.
The baby and her 5-year-old brother were removed from the home and placed into protective custody.…
TRAFFORD, AL – Police have arrested 23-year-old Misty Wright and her boyfriend, 39-year-old Johnathon Talley, after Wright’s 3-year-old daughter was found unconscious in a pool of her own vomit.
On Monday, Wright and Talley called 911 after finding Jettie Adams laying in a pool of vomit on a mattress on the porch of their trailer. Paramedics rushed the girl to the hospital where she would be pronounced dead.
An autopsy would reveal the girl died from severe internal injuries – the result of being repeatedly struck in the chest, abdomen and head.
“She was hit was such force her intestines were damaged,” said Chief Deputy Randy Christian, adding that she likely suffered a long, painful death all alone after going out to the porch to lie down on the mattress where she stayed all night. “It’s the saddest case I can recall.”
Several children found living in the trailer were placed into the custody of the Department of Human Resources. Neighbors say they didn’t know the family well, but the law is very familiar with Talley.…
KNOX, NY – Police have charged 19-year-old Tiffany Vanalstyne with the murder of her 5-year-old cousin, alleging she beat and strangled the boy to death before dumping his body in a ditch.
On Thursday, Vanalstyne was babysitting Kenneth White, his twin sister and a younger sister after being dropped off at home by her mother, Brenda Vanalstyne. The White children had been living with Brenda for around a year after their parents lost custody of them.
Police believe that within minutes of Brenda leaving, while Kenneth’s sisters where playing in another room, Tiffany bashed the boy in the head with a rock and then strangled him to death.
Police say she then took his body down the road and threw it over a guardrail and into a ditch before covering his body with snow. She then called her mother to tell her Kenneth had been kidnapped by two masked men who barged into the trailer and pinned her to the ground. Her mother told her to call 911.
Authorities issued an Amber Alert for the boy after Tiffany relayed them the same abduction story, but that was cancelled shortly after when Kenneth’s body was found by a police dog.…
TWIN FALLS, ID – Neighbors say that while her two sons died inside a burning trailer, Heather Green tried comforting them from outside.
On Monday night, Heather Green stepped outside of the trailer she lived in with her three young children at the High Desert RV Park. While outside of the trailer having a smoke, she played a game with one of her sons.
He would push the trailer door toward her from inside the trailer, and she would push it back. On one of these push backs, the trailer door shut and was locked from the inside. Not long after, Green saw that the trailer was on fire.
Green tried to get her 4-year-old daughter to unlock the door, but she was unable to do so. Green started screaming for help and neighbors rushed over in an attempt to break into the trailer.
Unable to get in through the door, Gary Zimmers broke a window and started feeling around inside and was able to grab Green’s daughter and pull her out.…
FULLERTON, CA — Before I get started with today’s terrible news, I thought I would provide you with some good news in the form of an update on Lester and Petra Huffmire.
In case you’ve forgotten, this is the couple who were arrested last year after it was discovered they’d been keeping two female relatives, ages 5 and 10, malnourished and locked inside a nasty trailer for three years while they played World of Warcraft.
The two girls stayed with the unemployed couple from May 21, 2010 to May 20, 2013, in their trailer at the Satellite Mobile Homes Estate. The girls were never allowed to go outside for any reason, and were not allowed to attend school.
Police visited the trailer after receiving multiple calls from concerned neighbors. What they found inside was a trailer full of filth. It was littered with stacks of trash, debris, mold, and feces. There were a pile of used condoms found under a stuffed teddy bear, the kitchen appliances were covered in mold and cobwebs, and the toilets did not work.…
GLENDALE, AZ – Police have arrested 31-year-old Sarah Nunley after a 3-year-old boy she was babysitting was found dehydrated and unresponsive underneath a truck in the 100 degree heat.
Police were called to a mobile home park after the child was found unresponsive underneath a truck in the sweltering heat. The officers eventually learned the boy was staying at his aunt’s house a few homes away. Nunley, along with the boy’s grandmother, were watching the boy while his mother was at work.
When police entered Nunley’s home, they found she lived there with her sister, her mother, and her sister’s seven children – ages 1 through 11. Police noted that the home was unsanitary and that there was little food in the home. They also noted that the children slept on a cluttered, dirty floor where knives were within reach.
Nunley first denied having any children, stating all of the children belonged to her sister, but later admitted she lied after one of the kids told the officers that Nunley was her mother.…
Granbury, TX – These two were sentenced earlier this month, but I totally missed the story and figured I’d post an article that ends on a good note for change. Justin and Brittany Alston, both 21-years-old, were sentenced to 60 years in prison after teens notified an adult that the couple were starving their 9-month-old baby.
Last December, several teenagers were at a party at the Alstons’ mobile home when they heard Riley crying. When Justin refused to check on his son, a 17-year-old at the party went into the boy’s room and found him emaciated and lying in urine, feces and vomit. His skin was flaking off his body, his bones were showing through his skin, and one of his socks had fused to his foot.
“I was furious and I was shaking and I was breathing hard and I was trying to be as gentle as I could with this baby because I felt like if I just moved a certain way this baby would break. He was so fragile and little,” Magon Rutledge said.…
Las Vegas, NV – A 61-year-old man has been arrested for beating his girlfriend to death with a beer mug after the couple argued about her sleeping around with other men.
On Sept 19, police were called to a mobile home park in reference to a woman bleeding from the head. Once there, police found Jennifer Evanson suffering from multiple head injuries. She would die at the scene. The coroner would later rule Evanson died from multiple blows to the head as a result of a homicide.
Investigators quickly focused on Dana Baker, the boyfriend of Evanson’s who was living with her at the time of her death, but was nowhere to be found on the night she died. They would find Baker about a mile away from the mobile home park, living in a tent in the desert.
Police noted that Baker had blood on his shorts, socks and shoes. When questioned, Baker told police he had been dating Evanson for about three months and had recently moved into her mobile home.…
RICHLAND, WA – Police have arrested 36-year-old Jose Aguilar after the 9-month-old baby of his girlfriend was found dead in her crib, suffering blunt force trauma and severe vaginal trauma.
Jennifer Reedy told detectives that on Thursday night, Aguilar wanted to have sex but she told him no. She said Aguilar told her he would take care of himself and left to go to the bathroom where he presumably jacked off for 30 minutes and then returned. Jennifer said when she woke up at 3 a.m. and noticed Aguilar was gone, she didn’t care and she did not look for him.
When she woke up a couple of hours later and noticed Aguilar was still gone, she got up and found her car was missing and so was the cash in her purse. She called Aguilar who informed her he was on his way to California. She did not check on Serenity until around 9 a.m. and found her purple in her crib.
Serenity’s death would be ruled a homicide after it was determined that Serenity had died from two, separate skull fractures and had suffered severe trauma to her vagina.…
FULLERTON, CA — Lester Huffmire and his wife, Petra Huffmire, have been accused of keeping two young female relatives malnourished and locked inside a nasty trailer for years while they played World of Warcraft all day.
It is being alleged that between May 21, 2010, and May 20, 2013, the couple lived in a mobile home at the Satellite Mobile Homes Estate and prevented the two girls, ages 5 and 10, from leaving the trailer for any reason, including attending school.
Police got involved after multiple calls from concerned neighbors. Grace McKee said she called officials more than once to report something weird was going on with her neighbors, the last time was 12 days ago. “I wish I had forced the issue years ago. They sorta said, ‘If you don’t see much, why should we come out?’ That sort of thing,” she said. “I wish I would have really, really insisted.”
Witness McKayla Smith said she briefly saw one of the girls as she stared at her through a window. …

A mom in Nebraska has been arrested, along with three other adults, after two of her sons were found locked inside a dog kennel.
When police went out to check the welfare of four children living in a trailer, they found a nasty-ass mobile home full of the usual trash, shit and piss you come to expect in stories like this.
But a disgusting trailer full of animal turds isn’t what got some people slapped with felony child abuse charges. It was the dog kennel found in the trailer that contained a filthy mattress and 22-year-old Ashley Clark’s two boys, ages 3 and 5.
Clark told investigators that she only locked her two sons in the dog kennel, which measured 42 inches by 30 inches, to keep them from climbing out the window and out of her mobile dump.…
Eerie, Colo — Last one for me before I start the weekend. Police have arrested a couple after a man returned home to find a frightened boy hiding under his front porch.
Amanda Jolliff, 36, and her boyfriend, Richard Smith, 31, have been charged with child abuse, false imprisonment and crimes against an At Risk juvenile after they say they kept Joliff’s 14-year-old son locked in a room inside their mobile home.
The boy finally escaped after being left in the mobile home alone, but since he didn’t have anywhere to go, he crawled under a neighbors porch to sleep. The man who found the boy told reporters the boy “was terrified” and didn’t want to be home when his mom and her boyfriend got back.
Officers described a disgusting living situation when they entered the mobile home where the boy lived.
“Upon entering the residence, I detected an overpowering odor of animal urine and feces,” Erie Police Corporal Aaron Haddox said. “My nose began running, my throat became irritated, and my eyes were burning.…
Augusta, GA — Police have arrested a woman, accusing her of killing her roommate with the heel of a shoe.
Police say that on Sunday evening, Carter was drinking when she got into an argument with 58-year-old Robert Higdon inside the trailer they shared.
“She said she got upset with him. He put his hands on her and she took her shoes off and hit him in the head,” Lt. Calvin Chew of the Richmond County Police Department. Higdon fell on the floor and Carter left to stay in a hotel with her boyfriend.
She said she got worried when she had not heard from him, so she returned the following morning to find Higdon dead, lying in the same spot she had left him in. Uh-oh. To her credit, Carter called police.
The heel on the shoe Carter used was not a stiletto type as some
lamer other sites are reporting, but rather the wide kind.
They currently have no idea how many times Carter hit Higdon on the head as there was no visible trauma to his noggin, but Lt.…
UNION COUNTY, Fla. — Police have arrested 25-year-old Mark Tucker and 26-year-old Kathy Tucker, charging them with child neglect after their two girls, ages 3 and 4, were found wandering alone in the woods while they went to a methadone clinic.

The Tuckers informed her that their 5-year-old was in school, but that they had left their two girls in the tent where the family had been living. The tent was located in some woods behind a mobile home where the childrens’ grandparents lived.
They added the girls were being protected by the family dog.
When the Tuckers did not get back on the van to return home, stating they would return later as they were going to sell some plasma, the woman asked the van driver to drop her off where the Tuckers where living. There she found the two girls wandering the woods alone in their pajamas, dirty and hungry.…
Cleveland, TX — As of today, thirteen adults and five juveniles, ages 14-27, have been arrested in connection to the alleged gang rape of an 11-year old girl, with more to come (no pun intended).
One report states that up to 28 people may have been involved in the sexual assault. “There have been leads during our investigation that have alerted us to other possible persons of interest,” assistant police chief, Darrell Broussard told CNN. “The investigation is ongoing.”
According to official records, Timothy Ellis, 19, took the victim to his bedroom and told to take off her clothes. She was told if she did not comply, she would not be taken home and she would get her ass kicked. Several individuals then had sex with the girl while others took pictures and videos. When Ellis’ aunt arrived everyone left the home and then took the girl to a nearby, abandoned mobile home where the men continued having sex with the girl.
Police were made aware of the gang rape after the 11-year-old girl told her school principal that she had been attacked during the Thanksgiving holiday. …
