October 15, 2009 by Morbid
Just doing a little brain bleach and figured I’d take a break from all the murderin’ and such and post a movie trailer or two that checked out today. Starting with the remake of George Romero’s 1973 horror film, The CraziesThe Crazies reviews
. In the remake, a small Iowa town’s citizens must deal with their friends, family and neighbors suddenly going insane after a mysterious toxin contaminates their water supply. The film will be directed by Breck Eisner, the man directing the upcoming Flash GordonFlash Gordon reviews

A Nightmare On Elm Street Trailer
September 28, 2009 by Morbid
The trailer for the latest classic horror icon to get the reboot treatment has finally arrived, and it doesn’t look too bad. Fans of the Nightmare series are hemming and hawing over Robert Englund not being the actor adorning the green-and-red striped sweater, fedora and legendary glove but personally I don’t care too much one way or the other. I think Jackie Earle Haley will do a fine job. However, this is Platinum Dunes we are talking about and they hare responsible for rebooting\remaking other horror franchises like Texas Chainsaw MassacreThe Texas Chainsaw Massacre reviews
, Amityville Horror, The HitcherThe Hitcher reviews
and Friday the 13thFriday the 13th reviews
. I thought they all stunk. Not because I am against remakes or feel they take away from the originals as in some cases remakes are damn good (The ThingThe Thing reviews
, Hills Have EyesThe Hills Have Eyes reviews
, The FlyThe Fly reviews
, Dawn of the DeadDawn of the Dead (2004) reviews
anyone?), but simply because these movies were God-awful pieces of shit. So no matter how decent the following trailer looks, I just cannot shake the feeling that like their previous entries, this movie end up sucking ass. [Read more...]

Dreamin’ Demon Twisted Movie Guide – September 2009
September 3, 2009 by Morbid
It’s no secret to those who know me that I love fall. Even today as I left for work, there was a slight chill in the air and a faint smell of woodsmoke. These subtle first signs of my favorite season made me do something I am anatomically incapable of doing on a regular basis – I smiled a little. It’s ok, more importantly I’M ok – no need to worry, my scowl beat it into submission rather quickly. But along with this season comes my favorite holiday, HalloweenHalloween reviews
(which we will talk about on a later date) and the Fall Movie lineup. So I have compiled a list for myself – that some of you twisted fucks can use as well – detailing what movies a Dreamin’ Demon member should try to catch for the month of September. [Read more...]

Casey Till
Haines City, FL - I am getting old or something, because I totally missed this story. Try to keep up, readers, as I dissect what happened when 26-year-old Casey Till ran into a family at an intersection late SundaySunday reviews

Following behind them in a silver Toyota were the little girl’s parents, Angel Gonzales, 21 and Ivon Despaigne, 19.
