Taco Bell Rage: Beefy Crunch Burrito Price Leads To Shots Fired, Four Hour Police Standoff

SAN ANTONIO, Texas. – When a Taco Bell customer found out his Beefy Crunch Burritos were going to cost him $1.49 each instead of 99 cents, he became enraged and began firing a BB gun at the manager through the drive through window.
Apparently the man’s tantrum didn’t stop after firing at the Taco Bell employees as he proceeded to waive a pistol and an assault rifle in the parking lot, according to Police Sergeant Chris Benavides.
Inside the restaurant, employees and customers hit the floor to protect themselves, while the burrito deprived assailant began firing at arriving police cars. Several shots were fired, although it is unclear which gun he used. The man fled to a nearby motel and barricaded himself in a room, coming out only after being forced out with tear gas.
The name of the suspect has not been released because he had not yet been formally charged as of early Monday. Benavides said that the man will be charged with three counts of attempted capital murder, and that additional charges are possible.…

Dallas, TX – One of those assholes who drive a truck lifted 20-ft in the air has been charged with manslaughter after he ran over a woman in a strip club parking lot and killed her.
Kasey McKenzie, 23, was walking in the parking lot of the Spearmint Rhino when she stepped in front of 27-year-old Eric Crutchfield’s dumbass truck. The truck in question was an F-250 that had been lifted too ridiculous heights and unknowingly ran her over with two of his truck’s giant wheels. McKenzie died on the scene.
Patrons had to chase down Crutchfield who wasn’t aware he had just flattened a human being with his rolling cock extension. He was taken into custody and charged with intoxication manslaughter and driving with a suspended license. He has two previous arrests for possession of controlled substances.
In case some of you are wondering about the “intoxication manslaughter” charge like I was, turns out Texas is one of the few states that has a specific charge for anyone who kills someone if they are operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated.…

Colorado City, TX – The mother of Hailey Dunn, the teen who has been missing for two months now, was arrested on Thursday, charged with hindering apprehension or prosecution, possession of dangerous drugs and false report to a police officer.
The Mitchell County District Attorney’s Office says they went to Billie Dunn’s home to carry out a search warrant on her longtime boyfriend, Shawn Adkins. During the search, law enforcement said Dunn lied to them so they took her into custody and charged her with the three misdemeanors. The dangerous drugs Dunn possessed are reportedly prescription drugs without a proper prescription.
This comes after law enforcement revealed child pornography was discovered among the porn found in Adkins’ home and on a jump drive found in Dunn’s home. Both Dunn and Adkins have been named “persons of interest” in Hailey disappearance, Adkins being the only one named as a suspect.
You know, the more information that comes out regarding Billie and her boyfriend has me thinking that Hailey blew her brains out when she realized that she may grow up to be just as dumb as her mother.…

Dallas, TX – Police have filed murder charges against that prick who accidentally killed an elderly woman in a Walmart parking lot while stealing her purse.
Last Wednesday, 76-year-old Sabra Leavy was walking in the parking lot of a Dallas Walmart when she was called over to a truck driven by 28-year-old Rogelio Cazta Belmonte who reached out and grabbed Leavy’s purse. As Belmonte drove off, poor Leavy got tangled in her purse straps and was dragged for 40-yards. When she finally fell to the ground she was ran over by the truck’s rear wheel and left in the parking lot in a crumpled heap.
It would take three days, but Belmonte would graduate from being a lowly thief to a lowly, murdering thief on Saturday Leavy finally died from her injuries, injuries that included a shattered pelvis. Police would identify and arrest Belmonte on Saturday, charging him with capital murder. He was still in jail today on a half-million-dollar bond. PARKER COUNTY, TX – After the home of 62-year-old Lois Pearson burned to the ground on March 3rd, no sign of her body was found. Further searches of a 10-mile radius around the burned home turned up no additional clues to her whereabouts, and a friend described Lois as a “loner” who rarely left her house and indicated he believed foul play was involved. Parker County Sheriff Larry Fowler disagreed on this final point, suggesting that Ms. Pearson ran from the fire and perhaps was injured, but he expressed his department’s intention to keep looking, because, after all, as he stated, “Everybody’s gotta be somewhere.” Brilliant observation, Sheriff! But perhaps more brilliant was the friend’s statement on camera, because Lois Pearson has been found alive in Corsicana…after having been abducted by 58-year-old Jeffrey Maxwell.
It would appear that Maxwell, who previously lived near Pearson, abducted her at gunpoint on March 1st and then returned to start the fire that would burn the home to the ground. Between her abduction and discovery, Pearson was bound and repeatedly assaulted.…

Cleveland, TX — As of today, thirteen adults and five juveniles, ages 14-27, have been arrested in connection to the alleged gang rape of an 11-year old girl, with more to come (no pun intended).
One report states that up to 28 people may have been involved in the sexual assault. ”There have been leads during our investigation that have alerted us to other possible persons of interest,” assistant police chief, Darrell Broussard told CNN. “The investigation is ongoing.”
According to official records, Timothy Ellis, 19, took the victim to his bedroom and told to take off her clothes. She was told if she did not comply, she would not be taken home and she would get her ass kicked. Several individuals then had sex with the girl while others took pictures and videos. When Ellis’ aunt arrived everyone left the home and then took the girl to a nearby, abandoned mobile home where the men continued having sex with the girl.
Police were made aware of the gang rape after the 11-year-old girl told her school principal that she had been attacked during the Thanksgiving holiday. Then the videos went viral.…

ARLINGTON, Texas — Yesterday afternoon, a man reported to be the pastor of NorthPointe Baptist Church was found dead inside the church and his female assistant was severely beaten.
A relative of one of the victims asked someone to stop by the church after repeated phone calls to one of the victims went unanswered. That person called police when they looked through a window and saw someone on the ground.
Police arrived a short time later and discovered the dead body of 28-year-old Clint Dobson, the church’s pastor, and his severely injured assistant, 67-year-old Judy Elliott. She was rushed to the hospital where she is in critical condition.
Investigators reported that Elliot’s vehicle is missing. It’s a four-door, cream-colored 2007 Mitsubishi Galant, said Tiara Richard, a police spokeswoman. The Texas license plate number is DFR-352. If you see it, police ask you to alert authorities and do not approach anyone who may be inside the vehicle.

36-year-old Juan Juarez was recently charged with aggravated sexual assault of an adult in connection with an incident that occurred on July 17, 2010. Juarez, a psychiatric patient at Cypress Creek Hospital, reportedly climbed into his heavily medicated roommate’s bed while he was sleeping and sexually assaulted him.
A hospital employee caught Juarez in the act when he walked into the patients’ room.
Once investigators were made aware of the allegations, they conducted a rape kit on the male victim and found Juarez’s DNA. Do you want to know the real kicker? Wait for it. Juarez is infected with AIDS… and was fully aware of his health condition at the time of the offense.

EL PASO, Texas – Abel Gil, 28, and Jennifer Smith, 19, are charged with aggravated kidnapping and unlawful restraint after they allegedly kidnapped a 19-year-old co-worker.
Gil and Smith both blame the other for luring a teenage co-worker to their house Friday night where she was bound, gagged and locked in a closet. She told police that Gil threatened her with “serious bodily injury” and “terrorized” her.
Fortunately she was able to escape the home on Saturday morning and alert police. Good thing, as it turns out the couple, whose Facebook pages contained images from the film NATURAL BORN KILLERS, had some pretty nasty plans.
During her interrogation, Smith confessed to the crime, saying she and Gil planned to sexually assault the woman for a month before killing her. Gil admitted to planning the abduction.
The couple, who worked with their victim at San Eli Supermarket, are being held in the El Paso County Jail, each on a $155,000 bond.…

Houston, TX – Police have arrested a man after they say he tortured and mutilated his estranged wife for hours in a case deputies are calling the most brutal and vicious they have ever seen.
You know when Sheriff Garcia calls a suspect a “rabid dog” that they must have done something really, really messed up and if 39-year-old Gregory Longoria Jr. is guilty of what he has been accused of, I’d say Garcia was holding back.
After being separated from his common-law wife for six months, Longoria became enraged when he thought she was seeing another man. So he told the 33-year-old woman that if she and their 1-year-old toddler did not go back to his apartment, he would kill her and everyone in her family. She had no reason to doubt this as Longoria has a lengthy criminal record dating back to 1989 that include charges of theft, attempted murder, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, aggravated assault of a family member and unlawfully carrying a weapon.

Houston, TX — Christopher Harding, 23, stands accused of physically assaulting his disabled mother and running off with her dentures.
Police say the incident occurred at his mother’s home earlier this month. According to Harding’s mother, Mettie Cartwright, the man grabbed her by the throat, pushed her to the ground, punched her in the face and applied painful pressure to her neck with his hand. She told police that her son held her neck so tight she had trouble breathing.
While he had her down on the ground, he reportedly used his free hand to reach inside the woman’s mouth and yank out her upper plate. Harding then fled the home with the teeth. Police said a witness was able to back up the woman’s claim.
Harding was arrested, charged with injury to a disabled person and is currently being held in the Harris County Jail without bond.

HOUSTON -- A former Comcast contractor has been accused of returning to a home he had previously installed cable and raping a 14-year-old girl.
Police say that on July 30, the teen woke up in the middle of the night to see an intruder standing over her. The man got on top of her and raped her while holding a knife and a screwdriver to her neck. He threatened to kill her if she screamed.
The girl later reported the crime, identifying the man as the cable guy who had been at her house a couple of days earlier. Since he left a business card, police were able to question Jose Jose Torres fairly quickly. The victim identified Torres as her attacker a second time via a photo lineup, but Torres denies he raped the girl.
He admitted he may have installed cable at the home and even allowed police to obtain a DNA sample, but his saliva could not be matched to any evidence collected from the girl. This isn’t surprising says Harris County Assistant District Attorney Lauren Bard, as the girl told investigators that Torres used a condom.…

Texas -- A lot of you may not know Lou Perryman by name, but you have probably seen him before. Most horror fans know him as L.G. in TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE 2, but many of you may remember him from POLTERGEIST as Pugsley, the worker helping the Freelings put the pool in their backyard (and helping himself to some of Diane Freeling’s coffee). In April of 2009, the 67-year-old was viciously murdered by an ax-wielding, mentally ill drug-addict named Seth Tatum.
At 26, Tatum had already served several years in prison for burglary and had been deemed mentally ill, bi-polar and a drug addict. A month before he would kill Perryman, Tatum had stopped taking his medication because he felt they were not helping him. The night before the murder, he asked his mother to try and admit him into the hospital, but she told him she could not afford it.
The next day, a mentally unstable Tatum attacked his mother’s boyfriend, fracturing his skull with garden shears and an iron fireplace poker before running from the home.…

Los Fresnos, TX — Police say four young friends between the ages of 13 and 14 are facing criminal charges after they allegedly sodomized another friend with a cell phone and videotaped the whole thing.
Cameron County Sheriff Omar Lucio said the incident happened last week while the group of friends were playing a game called ‘pants’. I’ve never heard of such a game before, but I guess it goes a little like this: Four friends gang up and drag another friend to the floor. Once said friend is down, his pants are removed and a cell phone is shoved up his ass. Oh, and to add to the hilarity, capture the entire incident on video – makes the prosecution’s job that much easier.
A teacher overheard a couple of students rehashing the incident and informed school administrators, who later contacted the sheriff’s department. Sheriff Lucio said detectives and a doctor determined the teen had been sexually assaulted. Family members, however, say the allegations against their children are false.

College Station, TX – Police believe John Robert Murphy III is the man responsible for stabbing a 12-year-old girl in the lobby of McDonald’s Monday night. Police also believe the attack was random. According to the police report, a man police have identified as Murphy was sitting at a table inside the restaurant when the child entered with her father, a restaurant employee. The child was left waiting in the lobby as her father headed toward the back to conduct some business. Surveillance video shows the man throwing his trash away and heading for the exit where the little girl was standing. As he approached the child, he pulled a pocketknife out of his pocket, keeping it hidden from the girl behind his leg. On his way out of the restaurant, he paused just long enough to stab the girl once in the stomach. The child remains hospitalized in stable condition with a laceration to her colon. The girl later told police she could smell alcohol on the man’s breath, and that he called her a bitch when he stabbed her.…

Houston, TX –I have been following the Jonathan Foster story closely since the Amber Alert was issued on December 27. To fill in those who have not heard of the case, or those that have somehow missed Morbid’s previous post, Jonathan Foster was the 12 year old boy that went missing shortly before 2 pm on Christmas Eve. His body, burnt beyond recognition, was discovered in a ditch just a few miles from the Houston home he was abducted from. After video surveillance from a nearby business, along with multiple eyewitness reports, placed her at the home around the time of Jonathan’s disappearance, 44-year-old Mona Nelson had her residence searched. Shortly after that, she was arrested on Capital Murder charges. Apparently the MONSTER, also known as Mona, was friends with Sharon Ennamorato, Jonathan’s mother’s roommate. Authorities still have not released the full extent of Ennamorato and Nelson’s relationship, but according to some sources, they may have been lovers at one time or another, and that may have fueled Nelson to hurt Jonathan’s mom, Angela Davis.…

Nancy Grace is covering this one so you may hear a lot more about her if she doesn’t turn up. Hailey has not been seen since December 27 after telling her mother’s boyfriend she was walking to a friends house to spend the night. She never made it there and oddly, the girl’s house she was supposed to be staying at has stated she wasn’t even aware Hailey was coming over. Hmmm. Police initially thought she may have been a runaway, but are now classifying her as a missing person, but not necessarily an abduction. Colorado City Police, Snyder Police, Mitchell County Sheriff’s deputies, Texas Rangers and the District Attorney’s Office have all joined in the search. HOUSTON, TX – An Amber Alert was issued Monday for 12-year-old Jonathan Foster. He was last seen around 1:45 p.m on Christmas Eve at the Villa Nueva Apartments where he lives with his mother and stepfather. Shortly afterwards, his mother recieved an emergency phone call at work. “Someone called and said it was an emergency,” said Mary Gifford, the missing boy’s grandmother. “But by the time she picked up the phone, no one was there.” Foster’s biological father and other relatives live within walking distance and Foster often spent time at their homes. His mother called police at 9:30 pm. when she was unable to find him. “I don’t know if it’s an abduction,” said Sgt. Stuart Harris of HPD’s Missing Persons Unit. ”I don’t know if he just walked off. I don’t know if there’s foul play involved. We have no reason to think he’s a runaway. … He’s missing under suspicious circumstances, which is always a major concern for us.” Jonathan has red or auburn hair and blue eyes.
