BELTON, TX – A 4-year-old girl has died after she was entangled in the propellers of a houseboat, and her father has lost his legs trying to save her.

The incident happened Friday night at 7:45 p.m. when a 20-foot houseboat began backing up in a swimmer’s area of Temple Lake Park and ran into 4-year-old Kaitlyn Oliver.

The little girl was struck by the boat’s two propellers and her body became lodged between them.

Her 37-year-old father, Pat Oliver, saw what happened and jumped in the water to help, losing both of his legs in the process.

Unfortunately, nothing could be done to save Kaitlyn despite the help of others at the scene who tried to dislodge her from the propellers.

Pat Oliver was taken to the hospital in serious condition. He has already undergone multiple surgeries in hopes of having him fitted with prosthetic limbs.

On Saturday, police arrested the boat’s driver, 43-year-old Jason Bernal, and charged him with criminal negligent homicide. He’s looking at a max of two years in jail if convicted but police say more charges may be pending.…

HOUSTON, TX – Video has surfaced showing the moment a man was placed in a chokehold by a deputy’s husband, days before the man would die from his injuries.

According to reports, 24-year-old Johnny Hernandez was with his family at a Houston Denny’s on May 28th. Hernandez, who was drunk, walked out of the restaurant and started urinating near his car in the parking lot.

He was confronted by the husband of an off-duty deputy about his behavior and a physical altercation ensued after Hernandez threw the first punch.

According to eyewitnesses, Hernandez is punched repeatedly in the head before being taken to the ground. As you can see in the following video, the man then lays his fat ass on Hernandez’ back.

So far I don’t have an issue with the man’s actions. He sees a drunk idiot pissing in a Denny’s parking lot, says something to the man and gets swung on. Taking down the drunk and detaining him for police is fine by me, even if he got in a few licks first.…

MESQUITE, TX – A Domino’s Pizza delivery driver shot and killed a teenager who had lured him to a vacant house in an attempt to rob him.

It happened on Saturday night while the driver was taking a pizza delivery to a home in the 1400 block of Springwood Drive. Two teens answered the door and tried robbing the man, with one of the teens opening fire on the driver.

The driver, who was also armed, returned fire and sent the two 16-year-old boys running. The driver called police who arrived and found one the suspects, 16-year-old Wayne Delaney Osborne, dead from a gunshot wound.

The second teen was located and charged with aggravated robbery. Osborne was a sophomore at John Horn High School in Mesquite. Mesquite ISD released the following statement:

The loss of a student’s life is always tragic and heartbreaking, regardless of the circumstances. Mesquite ISD’s thoughts and prayers are with this child’s family as well as the students and staff members of John Horn High School.

LA VERNIA, TX – Nine high school athletes are facing sexual assault charges after they allegedly sexually assaulted other boys with objects including bottles, broomsticks and baseball bats.

The small farming town of La Vernia is getting hit with a sex scandal involving high school athletes after  a total of nine high school athletes – seven juveniles and two adult teens – were arrested on sexual assault related charges.

The juveniles that were arrested have since been released to their parents. The two adult teens were arrested at the school and were booked into Wilson County Jail in Floresville.

Police are not releasing details about the alleged assaults, but some parents are talking to reporters and expressing frustration on social media.

One mother said that most of the assaults were primarily within the school’s football team, but that the baseball and basketball teams were involved as well. She said her son and other boys were held down by a gang of older boys, and then had objects forced into their rectums.…

HOUSTON, TX – A woman awaiting trial for allegedly hiring a hit man to kill her ex-husband is dead after jumping from the roof of her condominium.

Valerie McDaniel, 48, and her boyfriend, Leon Jacob, were arrested earlier this month after they allegedly conspired to have a hit man murder both of their exes.

As is usually the case, the hit man they hired for $20,000 and two Cartier watches was actually an undercover cop. Police had the “victims” pose for mock murder photos which were then shown to McDaniel and Jacob as proof of a job well done.

The couple was both arrested and charged with solicitation of capital murder. McDaniel was released days later after posting $50,000 bail, while Jacob was denied bail and remained behind bars.

McDaniel, a prominent veterinarian, was supposed to be in court on Tuesday for a status update on her criminal case that could see her sentenced to life in prison. She was also due in family court after her ex-husband, who she has an 8-year-old daughter with, filed a restraining order against her.…

Houston, TX —  Eliodoro Estala was charged with indecent exposure last week after his neighbor told police she saw him having sex with the fence that separated their property.

The woman reportedly told police she was looking out her window Wednesday, and just happened to see Estala pissing on the chain link fence. So she did what any normal person would do in such a situation…. she started filming. Weirdo.

When Estala noticed she was recording him with her phone, he worked that shit.

The woman told police Estala stuck his mouth on the fence and began tonguing it before he began “having sex with it.” Foreplay first. Good man!

The woman showed officers several videos and still pics of the alleged act. And I can only imagine how hard she was fretting to have witnessed such a vile and o-fence-ive act. I can just hear her screaming at her husband now…. “Abner! Abner! Come quick! The neighbor! He’s gyrating wildy against our fence. And he’s *gasp* unclothed!!” (Props to Gladys Kravitz from Bewitched).…

San Antonio, TX — Javier Hernandez, 30, was arrested earlier this week in connection with the death of a prostitute whose body had been found burned to a crisp last month.

The victim’s body was found in a burning garage near Hernandez’s home on January 22. Police have yet to identify her, but describe her as being Hispanic and between 18 and 35 years old. They believe she had brown hair, breast implants and a tattoo on her lower back.

Surveillance video apparently showed a dark truck pulling out of the garage shortly before the building went up in flames.

According to authorities, a witness came forward Thursday and informed investigators that Hernandez admitted to strangling the woman before burning the body in the garage. The witness also said that prior to setting the woman’s body on fire, Hernandez allowed an acquaintance to have sex with the corpse. Not sure if that’s being a good friend? Or a sucky, bad friend….

Anyway, Hernandez admitted that he owned a dark truck, but not the one seen in the surveillance video.…

Mission, TX — Mario Cardona, 59, was taken into custody last week after a video showing him dragging his German Shepard behind his motorized scooter surfaced on Facebook.

The woman responsible for posting the video, Michelle Torrez, was heading out to run errands Thursday, when she spotted Cardona motoring down the sidewalk, the pup struggling as it was being dragged.

“I turn around. I see him dragging his dog from the middle of street. … I’m out of my car yelling at him, asking him, ‘What are you doing? What’s wrong with you?’ And he just keeps going, telling me to mind my own business, it’s his dog he can do whatever he wants,” Torrez claimed.

Torrez whipped out her phone and started recording. After calling the police, Torrez posted the video to her profile, where it quickly received thousands of views.

Cardona was arrested less than 24 hours later. He’s been charged with animal cruelty, and bond has been set at $10,000. His priors include assault, driving while intoxicated, criminal mischief and possession of cocaine.…

Woman Shoots Boyfriend In Fight Over Cold Taco

February 9, 2017 at 5:01 am by

Houston, TX — A woman upset with the temperature of her food truck taco has been accused of shooting her boyfriend.

According to authorities, the unidentified couple hit up a food truck just before 2:00 Monday morning. The taco the woman ordered was apparently a little on the cool side.

The woman got kinda pissy when the man in the window refused to warm said taco.

The boyfriend told the woman to calm down, and that’s when the gun came out and he got shot.

He apparently didn’t read the “Boyfriend Handbook.” Article 5 — Section 74-5-2(b) clearly states: “Do not tell the woman to “Calm down.” Especially if the word calm is used with a capital C. Even more especially if food is involved.” (Rule subject to change at any moment). I kid. There is no handboook… we make that shit up as we go along.

It is unclear at this point exactly where the man was shot. He is, however, expected to survive.

It is also unclear exactly who the woman was aiming(?) for, and whether the shooting was purely accidental.…

Houston, TX — Criminal charges have been filed against 49-year-old Pete Hernandez, a former HISD substitute teacher, months after the man was accused of inappropriate behavior with three first grade girls.

According to HISD, the allegations of misconduct were first reported to school officials in November. He was removed from campus and the investigation began.

The three girls told authorities Hernandez kissed them on the mouth, touched their chests, and made them sit on his lap.

Though Hernandez initially denied touching any of the kids, he soon changed his story.

He admitted to having sexual thoughts about the girls as they were sitting on his lap, authorities claim. He had the girls straddle his legs and he moved them side to side and back and forth, as he taught them about “force of motion.”

The kissing? That was an accident, people! Hernandez was simply too close to the girls while he was talking, and his tongue just kinda accidentally fell into their mouth. *barfs* That’s his story and he’s sticking to it.…

Krystle VillanueveKYLE, TX — Police have charged a woman with murder after she mutilated her 5-year-old daughter before attacking her father-in law.

Police responding to an assault call arrived at a home where they found a 58-year-old man in his driveway suffering from multiple stab wounds.

He told police that his daughter-in-law, 24-year-old Krystle Villanueve, had attacked him with a knife and that she was still inside the home with her 5-year-old daughter.

The man told police he had been making lunch in the kitchen when he saw Villanueve walk into a back bedroom with a knife and then heard her daughter, Giovanna Hernandez, start crying.

She then walked out of the bedroom and started stabbing him in the back and forehead. He managed to wrestle the knife away from her and run outside. Neighbors told police that after the man exited the home, Villanueve also came out brandishing a shotgun before returning inside the home.

A SWAT team was called and entered the home to find Villanueve naked after having just taken a shower.…

Crystal HerreraSAN ANTONIO, TX — Police have arrested a woman and her boyfriend for the brutal sexual assault of the woman’s 1-year-old relative.

According to police, Crystal Herrera waited three hours after giving the child a bath and noticing blood before calling 911 to report the girl had been mauled by a dog.

When police arrived at the scene, Herrera’s boyfriend, 23-year-old Isaac Cardenas, told them the girl had wandered out of the house in the middle of the night and had been mauled by dogs.

However, once at the hospital it was clear that the injuries the child was suffering from did not come from dogs, as she had multiple stab wounds to her genitals

Police say the girl had life threatening injuries consistent with sexual assault, including stab wounds on her upper body and private parts that were “non-accidental.”

She also suffered ‘acute respiratory failure’ and will have to undergo re-constructive surgery to repair her injuries. The injuries were so bad that seasoned officers are calling it one of the worst cases they’ve ever seen.…

Michael JemisonTOMBALL, TX – Police are looking for Michael Jemison, a man accused of using a motorcycle helmet to murder 37-year-old Justin Jones inside a Texas Walmart.

According to police, Jones was with a friend inside the Walmart at around 1 a.m. when he got into a verbal confrontation with Jemison.

The two men reportedly knew each other and had been engaged in a long-standing feud of some sort.

That’s when Jemison allegedly bashed Jones in the head with a motorcycle helmet, knocking the man unconscious. Jones was rushed to the hospital where the father of two sons would be pronounced dead from severe head trauma.

Police quickly identified Jemison after releasing surveillance footage of him leaving the Walmart while carrying the helmet. Investigators say Jemison is still at large after he failed to turn himself in on Tuesday afternoon.

Jemison has previous convictions of marijuana possession, assaulting a family member, evading arrest and felony theft. He’s now looking at a murder charge.

Anyone who may know where Jemison is hiding out is being asked to call the Tomball Police Department at 281-351-5451.…

Yasmeen BanderasAMARILLO, TX – A father accidentally killed four of his eight children after he incorrectly used professional-grade pesticide underneath the family’s home.

Peter Balderas was trying to get rid of mice when he placed pellets known as Weevil-Cide under the house. This pesticide contains aluminum phosphide is to be placed by two fully trained professionals at a time.

This product is normally used industrially in ship hulls or other large areas, and is strictly prohibited on single and multi-family residential properties. When neighbors began to complain about the smell of the pesticide, Peter used a water hose to spray the pellets in hopes of dampening the smell.

While I’m not sure if that worked, what is known is that when the water mixed with the pellets, phosphine gas was created and slowly leaked into the home that the family breathed in over the course of two days. On Monday, police were called after someone who stopped by to see the family saw that everyone was sick.

When responders arrived, one child was already dead.…

FORT WORTH, TX – A man who claimed he came home to find his wife and infant son dead with their throats slit has been arrested and charged with their murder.

Earlier this month, 35-year-old David Vandewege called 911 to report he had come home from work to find his wife, Shanna Vandewege, and their 3-month-old son, Diederik, dead.

Police arrived and found both victims in their beds with their throats slits, and their deaths were ruled homicides. Vandewege was interviewed by detectives on two occasions, but had stopped communicating with investigators.

On Wednesday, police in Glenwood Springs were called by someone who told them Vandewege was headed to Las Vegas and trying to escape the authorities. Vandewege was stopped by a cop shortly after.

Vandewege told the officer that he was headed to Las Vegas. He said it had been a long week and that his wife and kid had been recently murdered. According to the police report, Vandewege showed no emotion when he relayed this information.

When the officer asked why he was not wearing a wedding band, Vandewege stated the ring was in his pocket “along with numerous condoms.”

The officer contacted Fort Worth police to verify Vandewege’s claims and learned he hadn’t been ruled out as a suspect in his wife and child’s murder, had fled the area, and had stopped talking to investigators.…

leonard-trevinoSAN ANTONIO, TX – An accused sex offender received an extra hole in his head after a family found him hiding under their stairs.

On Nov 10, a family stepped outside of their home to investigate what their dog was barking at.

That’s when 56-year-old Leonard Trevino emerged from his hiding space under a flight of stairs armed with a handgun.

Trevino, who is a suspect in a child indecency charge involving the family, demanded he be let into the home.

Despite Trevino brandishing a firearm, the mother and son refused to let him in. Trevino said he was going to kill the boy and began beating him in the head with a pipe.

During this assault, the mom maced Trevino and her son managed to get the gun away from Trevino and used it to shoot the man once in the face.

Trevino was taken to the hospital for treatment and has been charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

He was initially arrested on a felony charge of indecency with a child by exposure in July of last year, with a trial date set for next month.…

jordin-taylorBURLESON, TX – The body of 20-year-old Jordin Taylor was found wedged beneath a shuttle bus 14 hours after she was struck and killed late Friday night.

Taylor, a freshman at Texas State University and a member of the Alpha Delta Pi sorority, was at a fraternity party at the Cool River Ranch concert venue Friday night.

At around 11:15 p.m., one of the shuttle bus drivers transporting students back home reported the bus had lost its air brakes. The driver was informed by a supervisor to leave the bus where it was and transfer the students to another bus.

The next morning, a mechanic sent to work on the bus found the problem was Taylor’s body being wedged under the vehicle’s rear axle. After receiving the results of Taylor’s autopsy, the Sheriff’s Department says they believe Taylor was hit by the bus and dragged over 500 feet.

Although deputies say the crash appears to be a tragic accident, they are asking anyone with information on the incident, or anyone who attended the event with Taylor, to call 830-379-1224.…
