Andres Munos-Munos Charged With Intoxication Manslaughter In Death Of Sheriff’s Deputy

Houston, TX – According to police,  23-year-old Andres Munos-Munos was driving drunk when he struck and killed 47-year-old Sgt. Dwayne Polk.

The Houston Police Department say Munos-Munos drove through a red light and hit the Polk’s personal truck at approximately 3 a.m. Sunday. There were no skid marks on the road, signifying Munos-Munos didn’t even try to stop or slow down before the crash.

Munos-Munos suffered only minor injuries, while Sgt. Dwayne Polk would be pronounced dead on the scene. Polk had been with the sheriff’s office for 16 years, and was in uniform when he was killed. By Sunday afternoon, the intersection where Polk was killed had been turned into a memorial as friends and family left mementos and notes.

“Tough morning,” Sheriff Adrian Garcia tweeted. “The HCSO suffered a terrible loss & we are all grieving. Keep HCSO members & their families in your prayers.”

Munos-Munos, who is in this country illegally, has been charged with intoxicated manslaughter and is currently being held without bond. This is not Munos-Munos’ first rodeo. He was previously arrested in 2010 for DWI and unlawful carrying of a weapon.…

Haven Lee Norton, 10, Struck And Killed By His School Bus While Mother Watched

SPRINGTOWN, TX – What an absolute nightmare. On Monday morning, the mother of 10-year-old Haven Lee Norton watched in horror as her son was struck and killed by his school bus in front of his home.

The accident happened after the bus stopped to pick up another child across the street from the boy’s home. Norton, a fourth-grader at Springtown Elementary School who had only been riding the bus for two weeks, tripped and fell in front of the bus.

“The woman bus driver stopped the bus and activated the lights,” said Department of Public Safety trooper Gary Rozzell. “The boy came up beside the bus as she deactivated the lights. The bus started to pull forward and the boy couldn’t get out of the way, and was struck by the left front of the vehicle.”

Authorities say Norton tripped and fell in front of the bus, and wasn’t able to get up before being run over by the front and rear tires of the bus. The only witness to the accident was Norton’s mother, who had been keeping an eye on her son to make sure he got on the bus safely.…

Sex Ed Teacher Marlena Mints Accused Of Having Sex With Two Students

DALLAS, TX – Marlena Mints, a sex ed teacher and coach at Bessie Coleman Middle School, was arrested Wednesday morning after the 31-year-old was accused of having a sexual relationship with two of her students.

According to an arrest warrant, a 13-year-old student told another coach at the school that he’d had sexual contact with Mints. He said he was texting Mints one day and told her there was something wrong with his dick. Mints told him she would have to see it to know what was wrong with it, so he met Mints at the school where she examined the boy’s penis with her mouth.

The student would later tell police he has been allowed to touch her tits and ass on numerous occasions in her classroom in the presence of other students who were also allowed to do the same. Teacher Nikki Scherwitz Accused Of Having Sex With 16-Year-Old Student

HOUSTON, TX – Police have arrested 25-year-old Nikki Scherwitz, a 10th grade English teacher, after they say she had an inappropriate relationship with one of her 16-year-old students.

Police say Scherwitz has been teaching at Brazosport High School for only nine months, but had been having a sexual relationship with one of the 16-year-old boys in her class for a few weeks.

Allegations of misconduct first surfaced April 22, two days after Scherwitz showed up to an after prom party being held at a student’s house.

“She was wearing no shoes when she showed up…like a cut up, cut off shirt and everything,” said one student. Another student at the party told the teacher that she shouldn’t be there and asked her to leave. Scherwitz left, along with a 16-year-old boy.

When school officials were informed of the the inappropriate conduct, they confronted Scherwitz about the allegations. She resigned that day, before the investigations was complete.

They handed all of their information over to the Freeport Police Department who ended up charging Nikki Scherwitz with sexual assault of a child and improper relationship with a student.…

Deaf Couple Accused Of Beating Their Baby To Death For Crying

Richardson, TX - Police have arrested Hector Cupich-Quinones, 35, and Maria Zuniga, 37, after the couple allegedly beat their crying 5-month-old girl to death over the weekend.

Authorities were called to the couple’s home about 5:30 a.m. Sunday after the couple, who are deaf and cannot speak, woke up to find their daughter was having problems breathing. The responding officer performed CPR on the baby and noticed suspicious bruises on the infant.

After the child was taken to the hospital, she was pronounced dead about 10 p.m. Hospital staff told police they suspected abuse after discovering bruises on the baby’s chest, back and both arms. She had also suffered massive trauma to the back of her head.

When investigators questioned the couple about their child’s injuries, they admitted they had beaten the child because they could not get her to stop crying. I know, they’re deaf. But supposedly, after drinking, Cupich-Quinones became angry over the vibrations being created by his daughter’s crying.

In an attempt to stop the vibrations, Cupich-Quinones shook the baby in an attempt to stop her from creating them.…

Aaron Ramsey Sentenced To Life In Prison For Starving His Son To Death

Dallas, TX – Aaron Ramsey, the 35-year-old man who starved his 10-year-old son to death, has been found guilty by a Dallas County jury and was sentenced to life in prison.

If you don’t remember the death of Jonathan Ramsey, let me refresh your memory and quite possibly ruin your morning.

Back in 2011, police began looking into the disappearance of Jonathan Ramsey after the child’s grandfather contacted them, concerned that the boy had not been seen in almost a year.

Police questioned the boy’s father, Aaron Ramsey, and his 31-year-old stepmother, Elizabeth Ramsey. Eventually they would admit that the boy was dead and that Aaron had disposed of his body in an unknown location.

According to Elizabeth, she and Aaron began starving the Jonathan in March 2011 after the boy allegedly punched her in the stomach while she was pregnant with triplets, supposedly causing her to lose the babies.

That’s when Aaron locked Johnathan in a bedroom and only fed him bread, water, and occasionally milk. Jonathan went from 90-pounds to 60-pounds and, according to the affidavit, he was so hungry that he ate his own feces.…

One Teen Dead, Another In Hospital After Snorting Synthetic Drug Bought Online

FREDERICKSBURG, TX – After snorting some 25c-NBOMe, a synthetic hallucinogenic that can be bought online, 16-year-old Sam Herrera died from cardiac arrest and 17-year-old James Jarreau ended up recouping in the hospital.

According to Fredericksburg Police Lt. Steve Wetz, a teen who lives at the home where the boys ingested the drug told investigators he watched Herrera and Jarreau snort the white powder at around 1:30 a.m Saturday.

An hour later, the two boys were hallucinating, yelling at each other and being destructive. The owner of the home woke up and called 911, but by the time emergency responders arrived, Herrera was unconscious.

“When we got there the Herrera subject was unconscious and the other one was hallucinating strongly,” Wetz said.

Both teens were taken to the hospital where Herrera was pronounced dead from cardiac arrest. Jarreau was in critical condition, but by Monday his condition was upgraded to stable.

Wetz said the boys bought the drug from another student at Fredericksburg High School, who had purchased the drug off the Internet. Some of the drug was recovered at the home and sent to a lab for testing.…

Irene Stokes Denies Fondling 6-Year-Old Student Because She Doesn’t Even Like Black Children

Houston, TX – Irene Stokes, 61, has been accused of fondling a 6-year-old girl in her classroom, but has denied the allegations stating she’s racist and doesn’t even like touching a black child’s hand, much less their vagina.

The alleged incident happened back in March inside a classroom at Northwest Preparatory Academy. That’s where private school teacher Esther Stokes is accused of getting a 6-year-old female student alone and touched her inappropriately.

“The victim said that she was in the classroom alone with the teacher and that the teacher touched her on the outside of her clothes, on what she called her ‘private part,’ her vaginal area,” said Humble Police Department Detective J. Blanchard.

After the victim told Stokes to stop, Stokes allegedly made the girl stand outside in the hallway and kept her from eating lunch or taking a test. When the girl got home, she told her mother what happened. Police investigated and have charged Stokes with indecency with a child.

Stokes denied the allegations, stating she doesn’t like to even touch black children on their hand and that she shies away when they try to hug her.…

Kenneth Vanlue Admits Vandalizing DPS Office, Smearing Feces On Wall

AUSTIN, TX – Police say they arrested a man who broke into and vandalized a Department of Public Safety’s driver license office , including committing a bit of fecal-graffiti.

Kenneth Vanlue, 40, was arrested and charged with criminal mischief and burglary of a building after approaching troopers investigating a break-in at the office on North Lamar Boulevard, an affidavit said.

According to police, about 7:30 a.m. Wednesday, troopers responded to a reported burglary at the office, where they discovered the front door glass smashed. The windows had been broken with a brake drum, the affidavit said.

When troopers entered the building, they found several items destroyed, extensive damage to the office’s computers and equipment, and the word “surcharge” written in feces on the lobby wall. Yep, sounds like someone with a gripe to me. Or IBS.

The officers also found two severely damaged department vehicles, both with body damage caused by a sharp tool. Trash cans had been used to smash the vehicles’ windows as well as bust up the hoods and trunks, according to the affidavit.…

Pregnant Woman Loses Leg After Another Pregnant Woman Rams Her With Car

HOUSTON, TX – A fight between baby mamas ended with one woman having her leg amputated after one of the women intentionally rammed the other with a car and pinned her to a house.

According to Chris Chaney, 26-year-old Shareyll Starre Hunter is his ex and the mother of two of his children and pregnant with another. He says she took his car keys from his home without his permission, angering his current girlfriend, 21-year-old Alise Stephon Kelley, who is four months pregnant with his child.

The two women got into an altercation in the driveway, with one of the women trying to hit the other with a flashlight. When Kelley started walking back towards the house, Hunter drove the vehicle into her, pinning Kelley to the house before driving off.

Police say Kelley was transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital and suffered several compound fractures in at least one leg, which doctors later amputated. At this time, police are still looking for Hunter, who already has an outstanding warrant, and was last seen driving Chaney’s beige Lincoln LS with paper plates.…

Laura Lea Kolb Killed Boyfriend’s Young Daughter Following Late-Night Argument

SANTA FE, TX - Laura Lea Kolb was so angry with her boyfriend after an argument that she killed his 4-year-old daughter, according to Santa Fe police.

Kolb lived at the Santa Fe Courtyard apartments with Kevin Moore and his two young daughters from a previous relationship. After the couple got into an argument at around 3 a.m. Saturday, Moore walked out and talked to a downstairs neighbor to cool off.

Kolb also came out of the apartment but fell down some stairs. When she went back inside, police say the 36-year-old took out her frustration on Moore’s 4-year-old daughter, Taylor.

“She kept hollering ‘Kevin,’” a neighbor said. “Kevin’s like ‘I’ll be up there in a minute, I’ll be up there in a minute.’ And it was like an hour later, all the sirens come up.”

Turns out that when Moore went back in his apartment, he found that Kolb had fatally injured Taylor. He ran outside holding his daughter’s limp body and a neighbor tried to revive her, but it was too late.…

Talicia Morrison Accused Of Popping Woman’s Eyeball Out During Fight

Austin, TX – A woman is in jail after police say she popped another woman’s eyeball out of her head during a fight Saturday afternoon.

According to police, 20-year-old Talicia Morrison got into a fight with Cherry Webster and ended up grabbing Webster’s face, grabbing her eye and then “dug her fingers up in there,” which caused Webster’s eyeball to come out of the socket.

By time officers arrived on the scene, Morrison had already left, but Webster was there screaming in pain with her eyeball hanging out. So far, there is no word on what the fight was about, but the women are acquaintances, according to Austin Police Officer Veneza Bremner. ”I’m sure it was some sort of drama that was occurring,” he said.

Webster was taken to the hospital where doctors were able to pop her eyeball back into her head, but the extent of the damage remains to be seen. (*snicker*)

When police brought Morrison in for questioning, she admitted to being involved in the fight and displayed a couple of broken fingernails. Initially she said she wasn’t aware of the damage she had done to Webster, but then later stated she might have used her fingernail to pop out the woman’s eyeball.…

Veterinarian Shot To Death After Friend Vomited Near Jeffrey Hansana’s Car

Saginaw, TX - Police say 24-year-old Jeffrey Hansana senselessly murdered 33-year-old Dr. Deidra Blackmon after one of Blackmon’s friends threw up near his car in a convenience store parking lot.

Last Saturday night, Blackmon and two female friends were out celebrating one of the women getting married this week. Shortly before midnight, Blackmon pulled her Lexus over at a convenience store.

Surveillance footage captures Blackmon walking into the store, followed by 22-year-old Heather Rene Thompson, whose boyfriend, Jeffery Hansna, was waiting outside in his car.

When Blackmon walked back out, followed by Thompson, they found one of Blackmon’s friends had thrown up in the parking lot, some of it hitting Hansana’s car.  According to police, a few words were exchanged between Blackmon’s friends and Thompson. They do not believe Hansana said a word during the exchange between the women.

Hansana and Thompson drove away, and Blackmon left a few seconds later. Within a mile, Hansana drove up to Blackmon’s Lexus and fired three to five times, hitting the Lexus once. But that’s all it took, as that one round went through the rear passenger window and struck Blackmon in the head.…

Strip Club To Pay $10.5 Million After Drunk Man Killed Woman With Monster Truck

Dallas, TX – Back in 2011 we reported on Eric Crutchfield, the drunk man who ran over  and killed Kasey McKenzie in a strip club parking lot with his “monster truck.” The other day, a jury ruled that the strip club bears 70 percent of the blame and awarded the McKenzie’s family $10.5 million.

For those of you unaware of the original story, 23-year-old Kasey McKenzie was walking in the parking lot of the Spearmint Rhino when she stepped in front of 27-year-old Eric Crutchfield’s dumbass truck. The truck in question was an F-250 that had been lifted so high, Crutchfield must be hung like a Ken doll. Crutchfield didn’t see McKenzie and ended up killing her after running her over with his front and rear tire.

According to reports, patrons had to chase down Crutchfield, who had a blood alcohol level twice the legal limit, who wasn’t even aware he had just flattened a human being with his rolling cock extension. Crutchfield would later be found guilty of manslaughter and is currently serving a nine-year prison sentence.…

David Barajas Accused Of Killing Drunk Driver Who Killed Two Sons

ALVIN, TX – Police have charged a man with murder, accusing him of shooting the drunk driver responsible for killing his two sons.

On Dec 7, 2012, David Barajas’ truck ran out of gas yards from his home. He and his two sons, 12-year-old David Barajas and 11-year-old Caleb Barajas, jumped out and began pushing the truck while Barajas’ wife and two daughters remained inside the vehicle.

At around this same time, 20-year-old Jose Banda was driving drunk down the narrow road and plowed into the rear of the pickup. Caleb and his brother would both die after becoming pinned between the two vehicles. Jose Banda also died, but not because of the crash. He died from a bullet wound to the head.

Several witnesses who were present at the scene of the accident told police that after the crash, David Barajas walked the short distance home. He returned to the scene shortly afterward and approach Jose Banda’s car. That’s when the witnesses reported hearing gunshots.

Police still have not recovered a weapon, but a handgun holster was found in Barajas’ home, along with ammunition that matched the kind that killed Banda. David Barajas was subsequently arrested for the murder of Jose Banda.…

Teen So Bloody After Rape, Witnesses Thought She Was Wearing Red Dress

CYPRESS, TX – The title alone evokes images straight out of a horror movie, but that’s exactly what some people said about a teenager who walked half a mile for help after being brutally raped and beaten.

Police say Tuesday night at around 11 pm, a 16-year-old girl walked out of her home after getting into a fight with a relative.

As she made her way past Cypress Woods High School, a man walked up behind her and dragged her to a nearby field. There the man beat her in the head and face with a blunt object before raping her.

Throughout the entire ordeal, the girl played dead. ”She doesn’t move, she doesn’t flinch and he does not say a word to her. He stands over her making sure that she was dead,” said Harris County Deputy Armando Tamez.

After the man left, the girl got up and stumbled a half mile to a Cinemark movie theater looking for help. She was covered in so much blood that witnesses thought the naked girl was wearing a red dress.…

Admitted Horse Bugger Tells Police, “I Was Trying To Make The Horse Have A Baby”

Wharton County, TX — I’m a little late on this one, as usual, and I’m not exactly sure when the accused was actually accused of buggering a horse. Whatever… I like the police report.

The Smoking Gun recently released an undated statement drafted for the Wharton County Sheriff’s Department by 29-year-old Andrew Mendoza.

Mendoza had apparently been accused of screwing a neighbor’s horse, and after waiving his rights, laid it all out for police. And, apparently, the internet.

In his statement, Mendoza claims he had been waiting on a phone call from his girlfriend. He told himself that if she didn’t call at a particular time, he was just gonna go ahead and mosey on over to the neighbor’s house and “mess” with their horse.

The girlfriend apparently neglected to call within the allotted time frame, and Mendoza, obviously a man of his word, headed to the neighbor’s place.

He then proceeded to fuck their horse for about 5 or 10 minutes.

Mendoza wrote in the statement that he believed the horse liked it because it didn’t move or nothing, just stood there.…

Lawrence Chambers Stabbed Wife Over 100 Times, Beat Stepson With Frying Pan

HOUSTON, TX – A man in Texas has been accused of stabbing his wife over 100 times and beating his stepson with a frying pan because he “just lost it.”

On February 3, a 14-year-old girl entered her home to find her mother, 43-year-old Jemal Lockridge Chambers, and her 13-year-old brother covered in blood. She ran from the home and went to a neighbor for help.

“She found her mother dead and her brother clinging to life,” a prosecutor said. “She said there was no forced entry into the residence. The front door and burglar bars were locked.”

When police entered the home, they found Chambers’ body in a bedroom, her son was nearby. She had been stabbed 119 times. Her 13-year-old son was also found in the home suffering from blunt force trauma to the head, cuts with a knife and disfigurement to the face. He was rushed to the hospital in serious condition.

The one person unaccounted for was Chambers’ husband, 40-year-old Lawrence Clinton Chambers. He would turn himself into police on Monday after confessing to his brother that he was the person responsible for the vicious stabbing death of his wife as well as the severe beating his stepson suffered

Lawrence Chambers told his brother that Jemal had came at him with a knife and he “just lost it.” Chambers said he did not remember harming his stepson.…

Mom Sent Pics Of Child With Knife At Throat, Menstrual Blood On Face

LUFKIN, TX – A woman in Texas got herself into some trouble after she took pictures of her young daughter with a bloody knife to her throat, then sent those pictures to the child’s father.

Officers were contacted by a man who said that he and his mother received a message from his daughter’s mother, 20-year-old Casey Olford, that stated: ”It’s n tha trash u too. Hope yall have enough money for Kaylee funeral. Bye.” Accompanying the message was a picture of a young child on the floor crying with a large, bloody knife under her throat with blood smeared on the child’s face.

When police arrived at Olford’s home, she denied taking or sending any pictures to the child’s father or grandmother. The children in the home seemed fine and Olford allowed police to check out her phone but they were unable to find the text message or picture she’d allegedly sent.

They took her into custody anyway, and while in the back of the police car, Olford admitted to taking the pictures the day before.…

Elderly Man Kills Couple After Ongoing Argument Over Noise, Dog Feces

Dallas, TX -- An elderly man in Texas has been accused of shooting his two upstairs neighbors to death after a year of noise and dog feces complaints.

Police say that on Monday morning, 75-year-old Chung Kim shot 31-year-old Michelle Jackson after she walked out onto the balcony of her Sable Ridge condominium. Kim then went upstairs to her apartment and shot her boyfriend, 31-year-old Jamie Stafford.

When Stafford ran through the back patio door and jumped to the ground, Kim stepped onto the back balcony, leaned over, and shot Stafford again. In all, neighbors reporting hearing eight gunshots.

“I heard three [gunshots], then it stopped and I was about to rise up on the floor, and I heard five more and I got back on the floor,” said neighbor Yolanda Washington.

Kim drive away from the scene but was arrested nearby and then transported to the hospital for an undisclosed medical condition. He is facing two charges of capitol murder.

Jackson was a mother of five children, four of which were at school at the time of the shootings.…
