Teen Accused Of Holding Down Girlfriend So Friends Could Gang Rape Her

JACKSONVILLE, FL – Two adults and three teenagers have been charged in connection with the gang-rape of a 16-year-old girl.
Police say 16-year-old Demetrius Franklin met with the victim, reportedly his girlfriend, and brought her to another location where he helped hold her down so that his friends – Travis Maye, 22 (pictured); Steven Pender, 20; Daryl Norman, 16; and Dante Norman, 15 – could take turns raping the girl.
Myrtle Norman, an Aunt to two of the suspects, said that the accusations against her nephews are untrue. “It just doesn’t make sense for anybody to concoct a lie, just to ruin someone’s life like that,” she said.
She also says her nephews were friends with the victim and that her story simply doesn’t add up. ”I know that girl was hanging out there with all these guys all the time,” she said.
Hanging out, why didn’t anyone say so? We all know that makes everything the victim says about being brutally assaulted untrue. Surprised the DA hasn’t stopped by her place to apologize personally for the inconvenience.

CYPRESS, TX – The title alone evokes images straight out of a horror movie, but that’s exactly what some people said about a teenager who walked half a mile for help after being brutally raped and beaten.
Police say Tuesday night at around 11 pm, a 16-year-old girl walked out of her home after getting into a fight with a relative.
As she made her way past Cypress Woods High School, a man walked up behind her and dragged her to a nearby field. There the man beat her in the head and face with a blunt object before raping her.
Throughout the entire ordeal, the girl played dead. ”She doesn’t move, she doesn’t flinch and he does not say a word to her. He stands over her making sure that she was dead,” said Harris County Deputy Armando Tamez.
After the man left, the girl got up and stumbled a half mile to a Cinemark movie theater looking for help. She was covered in so much blood that witnesses thought the naked girl was wearing a red dress.…

PORT RICHEY, FL – A mother in Florida is praising a group of teenagers for possibly saving the lives of two children after a man tried grabbing them while they were visiting a local park.
At around dusk Saturday, 28-year-old Sharaya Smith said she’d taken her young daughter and nephew to play at Lake Lisa Park and eat pizza. As they walked through the park’s parking lot, she noticed a group of teenagers playing loud music, kissing and cursing. “We’re trying to have a pizza party,” Smith remembers telling them. “And my kids don’t need to hear your mouths.”
A short while later, while her daughter and nephew played on a slide, she noticed 34-year-old Bienvenido Cintron nearby. He was disheveled, wearing a tan trench coat, and spouting out verses from the Bible he was carrying. Cintron made his way over to Smith, who had already collected the two children, and began yelling at her, stating he was Obama and was sent to rid the world of drug dealers and prostitutes.
According to Smith, Cintron grabbed 3-year-old Dante Moretti-Taylor’s arm and tried to wrench him from Smith’s grasp while calling him a drug dealer. Cintron then grabbed 4-year-old Tatiana Ortega by the hair and one of her arms, calling her a prostitute.…

Fairfield, CA – Slow news day today. Aside from that nut in the bunker getting himself dead, I couldn’t really find anything I felt like writing up. But I did find one story out of California that doesn’t seem to be getting covered by the major news outlets, and that’s the death of 13-year-old Genelle Conway Allen.
Genelle was in foster care and reported missing on Thursday after she didn’t return home from Green Valley Middle School. On Friday, her nude body was found lying face down on a cement median in Allan Witt Park.
“I got closer and closer. And the closer I got to her, the more it became real. And then I got right up to her, and I realized that was a human body,” said Eric May who initially thought Genelle’s body was a mannequin. “I tried to wake her up. I did. Absolutely. Look, I got three layers of clothes on. I know how to survive the cold. I was ready to take my outer clothes off and give it to her.”
There aren’t a lot of details, but reports are that Genelle was strangled. Investigators stated they won’t announce whether the teen was sexually assaulted for another six weeks.…

Durham, NC – Here’s Dreamin’ Demon’s very first article for 2013, and it’s out of North Carolina where police have accused two teens and a 12-year-old girl with carjacking a man then shooting him to death.
The 12-year-old girl, a 14-year-old girl and 16-year-old Justino Maya asked Johnny Villatoro for a ride shortly before 7 p.m. Friday night. The father of three, who is originally from Honduras, did not know them but gave them a ride anyway.
Villatoro drove the trio to the 2900 block of Firth Street, where they then carjacked and shot him. He was rushed to the hospital after being found lying in the street, but would later die.
Police located the 12-year-old girl and Villatoro’s SUV near an apartment building. The young girl had somehow managed to accidentally shoot herself in the abdomen and leg while inside Villatoro’s vehicle. She was treated at the hospital then placed in a Durham County juvenile facility.
Maya was arrested Friday night and charged with murder. He was placed in the Durham County jail without bond.…

Upper Darby, PA – Three teens have been arrested after police say they kidnapped a woman in front of a bar on Christmas, then drove around raping her for five hours.
“These guys treated her like dirt,” said Upper Darby Police Superintendent Michael Chitwood. “They were total animals as far as I’m concerned.”
The 22-year-old victim was sitting in her Jeep Cherokee in the parking lot of George’s Water Ice waiting for her boyfriend to arrive. At about 11:40 p.m., Kevin Jones, Kewon Matthews and Brehon Rawlings forced their way into her vehicle at gunpoint and made her get into the backseat.
For the next five hours, police say the men beat the woman and took turns forcing her to perform sex acts on them, even though she was repeatedly vomiting on them. After robbing her of her Coach purse, wallet, car stereo, cellphone, camera, GPS, ruby ring, diamond necklace, bracelet and her insurance and registration paperwork, they threw her keys under the car and fled on foot.
The woman waited a few minutes before retrieving her keys and driving to her boyfriend’s house.…

HUDSON, FL -- Pasco County authorities say 16-year-old Jessica Laney hanged herself Sunday night, and some of her friends say cyber-bullying is to blame.
According to one of her friends, Laney attended Fivay High School after being transferred there due to bullying at her previous high school. But they say the bullying that led to Laney killing herself did not come from her new school, but rather from anonymous people online. In particular, members of the website Ask.fm.
For the un-initiated, Ask.fm is a social site where users can invite questions and comments from other members, anonymously. Laney’s page is full of the standard crap you would expect on a cute 16-year-old girl’s page, but also contains some disparaging comments from anonymous users calling her fat and a loser. Some even tell teh girl no one cares about her and instruct Laney to hurry up and kill herself.
Her friends say these negative comments are what led the girl to hang herself Sunday night, although official from the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office says neither Laney’s parents nor Laney’s boyfriend were aware of Laney being bullied.…

NEWBURYPORT, MA - Police have arrested a teen mother after they say she poisoned another teen mother’s infant while they both stayed at a home for teenage mothers.
The teens, both under the age of 17, had been staying at the home for little over a year when one of their infants became ill. The baby, less than a year old, was rushed to the hospital where it was learned that he had ingested a poisonous substance.
The boy was treated and released, but an investigation would later reveal that the infant had ingested baby formula tainted with a household cleaning product, and that another teen mother staying at the home had placed the substance in the formula earlier in the week.
Before it was learned how the boy was poisoned, and who was responsible, the accused teen had run away from the home. She was later found and arrested on a warrant issued for her running away, then charged with attempted poisoning the next day.
She is currently in jail without bond and will appear in juvenile court next week.…

NEW FAIRFIELD, CT – A popular teacher in Connecticut shot a masked prowler next door to his home only to learn he had just killed his teenage son.
Sometime around 1 a.m. Thursday, Jeffrey Giuliano got a call from his sister, who lives next door, informing him that she thought someone was trying to break into her home.
Armed with a handgun, Giuliano walked over to investigate and encountered someone in his sister’s driveway wearing a ski mask and brandishing a knife. Giuliano shot and killed the masked suspect when they made a move towards him.
When police arrived at the scene, they found Giuliano sitting in the grass and the suspect’s dead body lying sprawled in the driveway. Police lifted up the mask and revealed the suspect to be Giuliano’s 15-year-old son, Tyler Giuliano. Early reports stated Giuliano had removed the mask and realized he had shot his son before police arrived, but those reports turned out to be incorrect.

NEWPORT, Ky. — I have stated my opinion on women drivers multiple times on this site and every time I do, someone inevitably gets angry with me and I get hate mail. But I am in a good mood this morning so I will bite my tongue and not use this tragic story to rail on you females and how, by and large, you all are horrible, horrible drivers.
Kimberly Riggs, 40, and her 15-year-old daughter had just left church services at the Newport Church of God on Sunday when Riggs wanted her daughter to practice her driving skills in the parking lot. That’s when an unbelievable chain of events occurred, leaving Riggs dead and her daughter unlikely to get behind the wheel of a car for a very long time.
According to Newport police, Riggs was standing outside of a car in the parking lot as her daughter sat in the driver’s seat. Witnesses said the car suddenly lurched backward and the open door hit Riggs, knocking her to the ground.…

WINTHROP HARBOR, IL – A 17-year-old has been arrested and charged with sexually abusing children at his mother’s day care.
Brett Degler has been accused of sexually abusing three young girls, two 11-year-olds and a 4-year-old, since November of last year.
A two week police investigation began after the 4-year-old told her parents that it hurt to urinate and that “Brett did it.” Her parents took her to the hospital and then contacted police when it was revealed the girl had been sexually assaulted.
The girl was able to detail when and how she was abused durin an interview that lead police to a second victim. Degler admitted to assaulting a third victim during a police interview following his arrest a day later. The abuse had been ongoing for at least five months and took place when his mother was in another room of the house or at the store.
His mother, Cheryl Degler, has run a residential day-care for nearly 30 years and p0lice say she has cared for the children of children she cared for in the past.…

SACRAMENTO, CA - I wasn’t going to post about the murder of 13-year-old Jessica Funk-Haslam, especially since Nancy Grace and a couple of silly “psychics” are on the case and will have this solved in no time, but when I saw Google considers an opinionated Gather article a news source, I died a little inside and figured I would put up my own article.
I know a lot of you have already heard about the murder of 13-year-old Jessica Funk-Haslam, but for those of you who haven’t, her body was found in a dugout of a baseball field last Tuesday morning. She had been strangled, stabbed and beaten.
The last person known to have seen her alive was her mother, Tara Funk-Haslam, who says her daughter ran out of the house to meet someone after an argument. She says she chased after her but was unable to catch her.
Armchair detectives are already fingering her as the prime suspect, speculating as to why her mother waited until the next morning to call police, or why she didn’t try to contact her friends or her father, Allen Porter.…

VAN BUREN, Ark. – The body of a missing teenager may have been found stuffed in a barrel buried on property owned by the family of the convicted rapist suspected of being with her last.
Angela Allen, 16, was last seen on Feb 10 at around 7:30 p.m. after telling her grandmother that she was going out for a walk in the neighborhood. When she never returned, her family called police to report her as a possible runaway.
After doing some investigating, police found that Allen had been communicating with 36-year-old Lloyd Jones, a convicted rapist, on a social networking site. The pair had also been texting for the last few days, Jones allegedly posing as a boy in the 11th grade.
“They conversed back and forth,” said Chief Kenneth Bell with the Van Buren Police Department. “He groomed her. They built a relationship. He picked her up.”
Jones was eventually picked up and placed in police custody on an aggravated assault charge. He eventually gave police information that led to them to a plastic barrel buried three feet deep in a shallow grave on property owned by Jones’ family.…

Chicago, IL – Chicago police are questioning six youths and their involvement in the beating of a 17-year-old boy in a Chicago alley that was recorded and then posted it on Youtube.
If you cannot see the video below, it shows as many as seven people beating the kid’s ass. The assailants all look to be around the same age as the victim and can be seen kicking, stomping and punching the boy before they robbed him of his gym shoes, wallet and money.
Police haven’t said why the boy was targeted, but do say it was not racially motivated. You can hear one of the suspects tell the victim that he “fucked up” but other than that there is no reason given for the ass-whooping. As bad as it looks, the victim was taken to the hospital for a busted lip, bruises and some facial abrasions.
I’ve included the video below and while I don’t know if the kid deserved it or not, it’s a cringe inducing beating.

Staten Island, NY – I’m sure a lot of you have read about 15-year-old Amanda Cummings by now. For those of you who haven’t, two days after Christmas, she purposely stepped in front of a city bus while carrying a four page suicide note.
She would later die at the hospital from blunt force trauma and skull fractures and her family is blaming bullying for her death. The family claims she was bullied throughout school, even in the days before her decision to end her life. Her uncle has stated he wants justice and will push this as far as he can, in an effort to ensure those who pushed her over the edge are held accountable.
“I’m not going to tolerate this,” he said. “I’m gonna go full force. Kids can’t do this to each other.”
Her mother echoed the same sentiments stating, “This entire tragedy is far, far from over,” she wrote. “I am no where done with this.”
Her sister, Dawn, recently wrote, in part, “I AM BEGGING YOU KIDS, ANYONE WITH ANY CONCRETE PROOF OF BULLYING TOWARD MY SISTER, PLEASE LET ME KNOW.…

PECOS, N.M. – Two teenage boys have been suspended from school and are facing multiple criminal charges after their bullying of an 8-year-old cousin was caught on a school bus surveillance camera.
In the video, the two 14-year-old boys can be seen spitting into the kid’s mouth on two occasions, giving him several wedgies, sitting on his head and pushing him between the seats. The bus driver didn’t initially view any of the bullying, which reportedly lasted 20 minutes, because the victim was too short for him to see and all three involved were sitting at the back of the bus.
The driver reported the incident to the school principal after reviewing the surveillance footage, who then notified police. The victim said he did not report his cousins’ bullying because he thought he would get into trouble. He found out how wrong he was when the two teens were charged with battery, assault, harassment and criminal sexual contact of a minor.

Pineville, NC – Police have arrested a teen after he admitted to shooting his father and stepmother to death early Monday morning.
Not long after neighbors reported hearing six gunshots shortly after 2 a.m. Monday morning, 15-year-old Matt Liewald called 911 and said he needed police to come to his home but would not say why.
He would call back a second time telling the dispatcher that he had just shot and killed his father, 43-year-old Christian Hans Liewald and stepmother, 24-year-old Cassie Meghan Buckaloo. He told them that he would wait for police on the street corner.
When police arrived at the home, they would find Matt’s parents dead from gunshot wounds. The teen was picked up a half-mile away and taken to police headquarters were he was charged with murder, armed robbery, and attempted auto theft.
No official word one what the kid’s motive was, but neighbors and family say that Christian ran a strict household and that Matt may have rebelled against his father in the worst way possible.…

FT. LAUDERDALE, FL – I’ve got two stories this morning involving adult women fighting with teenagers, starting with one from last week involving 23-year-old Cynthia Haynes, accused of boarding a school bus and punching two students.
A little earlier, Haynes’ 11-year-old sister had walked home and told her she had gotten into a fight with another 11-year-old girl at a bus stop.
Haynes and her little sister then got into a car and began driving around looking for the school bus. Once they found it, the 11-year-old entered the bus and began fighting with the 11-year-old she had fought with at the bus stop.
Reportedly enraged, Haynes decided to intervene and boarded the bus, storming past the driver.
During her intervention, Haynes slapped the 11-year-old fighting with her sister, then drags a 14-year-old girl down the center aisle of the bus by her hair. Neither of the two victims were seriously injured but did have some scratches on their faces.
Haynes was arrested and charged with two counts of child abuse and burglary with assault or battery, and one count of conspiracy to interfere with the education process.…

PALOS PARK, Ill.— Police have arrested a 17-year-old and charged him with the gruesome beating death of his parents.
I’ve been keeping an eye on the murders of 44-year-old John Granat and his 42-year-old wife Maria, as police were informing neighbors that they weren’t in any danger while also mentioning the couple had a teen son. I figured it was only a matter of time before he was charged.
Police received a call from 17-year-old John Granat on Sunday morning, informing them that when he woke up that morning he found the house in disarray and his parents dead.
When police arrived they would find the couple dead in their blood-splattered bedroom. Cook County medical examiner’s office determined that John Granat suffered blunt force trauma to his head and was beaten so severely that his kidney was lacerated. Maria Granat suffered blunt force injuries as well, but unlike her husband, she was stabbed repeatedly.
I would suspect the fact that there was no evidence of forced entry combined with Granat’s multiple, inconsistent stories of what he was doing on the night his parents were beat to death, had police zeroing in on the teen from the onset.…

Indianapolis, Ind. – Last week we reported on two separate incidents in which men got involved in fights involving their teen sons. One I did not get to involved two mothers who have also found themselves in legal trouble after video of their two daughters fighting made its way onto Facebook.
Because they were both present at the fight, and were recorded egging their daughters on, they are now facing a felony charges.
Brandy Mills says she drove her teen daughter to Harter Park to talk with Teresa Mendenhall and her teen daughter regarding one of Mill’s younger daughters being bullied. Mills claims “talks” quickly became violent.
As you can see on the video, the two teenagers start scrapping and the one in pink delivers a Jenelle Evans style beatdown on fatty. During the fight, you can even hear Mills making a statement she is now regretting.
“I said I’ll beat the crap out of you if you don’t pretty much take care of her,” Mills told reporter Ann Keil.…
