Tulsa, OK - Having spent time in prison for sex crimes against children, Johnnie Joe Hobbs had no desire to revisit the Gray Bar Hotel. As a matter of fact, when the convicted sex offender discovered his parole was about to be revoked, he got a little hot under the collar. Tulsa County sheriff’s deputies paid a visit to Johnnie Joe Thursday afternoon to serve three protective orders – tagging along were officers from the state parole board who were there to haul Johnnie Joe back to the slammer on a parole violation. MUNCIE, Ind – A lot of questions and opinions with this story, but no real answers. 21-year-old Jacob Sexton got into an argument with Show Place theater employees over being carded to see the “R” rated ZombielandZombieland reviews. Sexton was home on leave from Afghanistan, scheduled to return next week. He had been drinking and was accompanied by his two brothers and a friend. Approximately 20 minutes into the film, Sexton asked to see his brother’s gun. Sexton then loaded the chamber and shot himself in the head. His brother said that, before Jake pulled the trigger, he pushed his friend out of the way so the friend would not get injured. WitnessesWitnesses reviews reported hearing a loud pop, then the Jacob’s companions screaming; one of them beating on a wall in anguish. A lot of people surprised with this one, with a lot of people who knew the guy coming forward stating that this was just a drunk kid who got stupid with a gun. BETHLEHEM, Pa – Twin brothers Timothy and Thomas Willgruber, both aged 56, had a history of alcohol abuse and drunk driving. But not any longer. Last month the brothers were attending Celtic Fest, and Thomas was trying to help his drunk brother parallel park a minivan. For some drunken reason, Timothy lost control of the vehicle and ended up crushing Thomas’ leg in between the van and a parked SUV. Thomas died 8-hours later. Timothy failed the sobriety test at the scene and it was later revealed he had a blood-alcohol level of .20. Even though Bethlehem police Capt. David Kravatz says Timothy Willgruber was “devastated” after the accident and family members say the brothers were best friends, homicide charges were expected – but now that wont be necessary. ST PETERS, MISSOURI - Elizabeth Thrasher gets the embarrasing title of first person charged with felony harassment under Missouri’s “Megan’s Law” (not to be confused with the Megan Kanka law requiring law enforcement authorities to make information available to the public regarding registered sex offenders).  The law was created after the suicide of 13-year-old Megan Meier, a girl who was being bullied over the Internet by other teens and an adult and then committed suicide. Kingman, AZ- The details in this story are few, but the heroism of a 20-month old baby girl’s mother I wanted to share with you. Brad Anderson, 28, and his wife Holly, 26, had been separated after an extensive history of domestic violence. Holly took the couple’s baby girl, Bailey, left their home and moved in with a friend. It was at this friend’s residence that police responded to a domestic disturbance call around 5:40 p.m. this last Sunday. Castroville, CA - According to the Megan’s Law website, John Seitcher was convicted on charges of lewd and/or lascivious acts with a child under 14, indecent exposure, and continual sexual abuse. Though the length of his prison sentence is unknown, it has been reported that Seitcher was paroled in May. Like many registered sex offenders we have written about on this site, Seitcher, 46, failed to keep his slimy paws off of the little ones. Albuquerque, New Mexico–On March 15, a mother found the body of a boy buried under the swings of Alvarado Park. For days the police asked the public for any information that could help not only identify the boy, but also aid in piecing together the puzzle of how a young boy ends up buried in the sand of a public park. A composite of the boy was released as well as pictures of the clothes he was wearing. Now the identity of the boy has been discovered, as well as his murderer. Corona, CA – Once again, we have a story of a selfish asshole who wanted to off himself and take his family with him.  And of course, once again he succeeds at murdering his babies and only injuring himself.  They have no motive at this time, but it is said that Amado Esqueda and his wife had separated shortly before he completely lost his shit and went on a stabbing rampage killing his two young daughters, seriously injuring his wife and injuring himself.

ATHENS, Georgia – He was also a Georgia professor who was pretty miffed at his wife. On April 25th, he left his kids in the car and shot her -along with two of her friends- to death outside of a community theater. He then dropped the kids off at a neighbor’s house claiming there had been an emergency, and disappeared. Until yesterday. I was talking with a friend of mine about the realization of not having many old photos of any of us as teenagers to put up on our FacebookFacebook page that we, like a lot of other people approaching middle-aged, have begun to invade. But then we decided that this was actually a blessing as we would not want pictures of some of the shit we did out there for the world to see. Because you know what? Had we had cameras around at our fingertips the way kids do today, we probably WOULD have snapped some unsavory pictures that could one day, come back to bite us in the ass.
