Mother Accused Of Watching Boyfriend Smother Their Baby Before They Had Sex

Chicago, IL – Angela Petrov and Rodrigo Rodriguez have been accused of suffocating their 5-month-old daughter, then placing her limp body in a playpen before having sex.
At around 11 a.m. Friday morning, the couple noticed their daughter, Angelina, was ‘stiff and unresponsive’ inside her playpen. They tried throwing water on the baby’s face and attempted CPR before calling 911. Angelina was taken to the hospital where she is currently on life support.
Doctors would discover that Angelina was suffering from brain swelling, a blown pupil due to a lack of oxygen, and a skull fracture from a past incident. She’s still alive, but currently has limited or no brain activity.
Police interviewed the couple and Rodriguez eventually admitted he and Petrov had been drinking Hennessy in the room where Angelina was sleeping. When the baby woke up and would not stop crying, Rodriguez admitted to employing a method that is fairly effective in getting an infant to stop crying. Or breathing. Or functioning at any level of intelligence higher than a potato.
He said he used his hand to cover Angelina’s mouth and nose until she stopped crying.…

Siberia – The Siberian Times is reporting that an 8-year-old girl, Viktoria Adaeva, died a horrible death after suffocating inside an ice turtle.
I wasn’t aware of this, but during the winter in Siberia, entire playgrounds are made up of ice sculptures for children to play on.
Viktoria was alone in one these playgrounds after her grandmother had allow her to go outside and play. At some point, Viktoria decided climb into a hole that other children had carved into an ice turtle, and got herself stuck.
In temperatures of around minus 7C, her head, neck and one hand became froze to the side of the ice hole and she eventually ran out of air to breathe. “She was probably screaming for help but no-one could hear her,” said one report.
When she did not return home on time, Viktoria’s grandmother went to the playground to look for her but could not see her inside the ice turtle. Police were notified and were the ones who eventually discovered Viktoria’s lifeless body trapped inside the sculpture.…

HOUSTON, TX – A woman is behind bars after hidden surveillance camera captured her abusing and repeatedly suffocating the baby she had been hired to care for.
The parents of a 4-month-old girl say they hired 48-year-old Tirza Magana before their baby was born and that she had been working for them for five months until May. That’s when they decided to install a nanny cam after noticing their daughter was acting strange and lethargic. After just one day of filming, the parents reviewed the footage and were horrified at what the it had captured.
According to court documents, the video footage shows Magana placing her hands over their child’s nose and mouth while applying pressure, causing the baby to “flail about, struggling to breathe.” She does this four times over a fifteen minute period and can even be seen switching her grip. She is also seen “holding the baby up by her head as the child’s dangling body made jerking movements.”
The parents immediately fired Magana and called police. Magana was ultimately arrested and charged with endangering a child and is in jail on a $10000 bond.…

Cochranton, PA - A lesbian couple will stand trial for the brutal beating death of 20-year-old Brandy Stevens-Rosine, the third leg of their lesbian love triangle.
Stevens-Rosine had dated 18-year-old Jade Olmstead for about a year, but the relationship had ended with Olmstead moving in with 20-year-old Ashley Barber (pictured) at Barber’s house 75 miles away in Pennsylvania. Although they were broke up, Olmstead and Stevens-Rosine stayed in contact and Stevens-Rosine still did favors for Olmstead whenever asked.
On May 17, Stevens-Rosine accepted an invitation by Olmstead to visit her at her new home. Stevens must have sensed something was wrong because after making the 75-mile trip and arriving at her destination, she texted a friend that she had a “funny feeling.” Not heeding the warning, Stevens-Rosine was lured out to a nearby wooded area under the guise of Barber and Olmstead wanting to show Stevens-Rosine a fort they were building.
Instead, Stevens-Rosine was beat mercilessly by Olmsted and Barber, who kicked and punched her to the point of Stevens-Rosine screaming and begging for her life.…

Houston, TX – Police say that an 18-year-old girl made 144 tweets within six hours, the final one made moments before killing herself.
Instead of going to school on Tuesday, Ashley Billasano took to her Twitter page and made a series of tweets to her 500 followers detailing her feelings of despair, being a victim of sexual abuse and injustice. Her last tweet was made at 2:97 p.m. and read: “Take two. I hope I get this right.”
She did.
Police are not releasing too many details on exactly how she committed suicide for fear of copycats, but they say Billasano suffocated herself using a method she learned on the Internet.
The majority of her tweets that day detailed claims of sexual abuse and being forced into prostitution at a young age. Some of this is backed up by her mother and the fact that her stepfather, Allan Leskinen, is currently finishing up an 11-year-stint in prison after being convicted of sexually abusing Billasano when she was only 7-years-old.
Years later, at 14-years-old, she claims she was sexually abused by another family member as well as other adults.…

KENNETT, Mo. – Police say they’ve found the remains of Breeann Rodriguez, the 3-year-old girl who went missing on August 6 while riding her bicycle in front of her house.
The remains were found Tuesday evening by an officer of the Missouri State Highway Patrol Water Patrol, who was searching by boat. Her body was found near the floodway ditches northeast of Hornersville, Missouri, about 8 to 10 miles from the girl’s home.
Shortly after the discovery, Breeann’s parents were notified.
“We appreciate all the help and support from the community in what has been a difficult time for all,” Dunklin County Sheriff Bob said. “We are saddened to confirm our fears, but glad we have been able to recover her for her parents.”
One of Breeann’s neighbors, 43-year-old Shawn Morgan was arrested earlier this week and charged with the little girl’s murder.
He told police that he grabbed Breeann and took her in his house after finding her standing on a ladder by the pool in his backyard. According to the affidavit, the father of three then used a white plastic trash bag to suffocate the girl, by holding it over her face and mouth.…

KENNETT, Mo. – A neighbor has been arrested and charged with the murder of Breeann Rodriguez, the 3-year-old who went missing on August 6 while riding bicycles with her 6-year-old brother.
The little girl vanished right outside her home after her brother went inside to get a drink. This lead to a massive search that included billboards displaying the girl’s picture, the search of a couple cargo vans seen in the area and a $45,000 reward.
The search intensified after the girl’s training wheels were found near her home on Thursday. But on Saturday, police announced they had someone in custody and had charged them with the girl’s murder.
Police say they will continue to search for the girl’s body, but that 43-year-old Shawn Morgan suffocated Rodriguez on the day she went missing. He has now been charged with first-degree murder, armed criminal action and tampering with physical evidence.
I did not follow this case very closely. I just remember them finding her training wheels and then over the weekend, heard that both of Breeann’s parents had failed polygraph tests.…

Phoenix, AZ – This story is a week old, but I figured I’d post it for anyone else who, like me, didn’t see it. A 10-year-old girl playing hide-and-seek was found dead inside a storage locker last week.
The girl was playing outside a home with her cousins and some neighborhood kids late Monday night, early Tuesday morning, when she climbed inside the small trunk to hide. Reports are the girl took considerable pride in not being found by picking some pretty good hiding places in the past, including a dryer.
This time she picked one a little too good. It was a storage locker of some type located in the backyard of the house. She would not be found until the next morning when the adults in the home woke up and began looking for her. Attempts were made to revive her but she had already died, possibly of positional asphyxiation or suffocation.
Police do not suspect foul play, but they did notify child protective services when they found the inside of the home a mess.…

Chicago, IL — Toyrianna Smith, 20, is accused of killing her 3-month-old baby boy, then toting his body around in a BabyBjorn carrier while she went shopping.
According to prosecutors, Smith took the infant, Ken Blackman Jr., and her 3-year-old daughter to a friend’s house Wednesday night and spent the evening hanging out, getting her hair did and drinking vodka. When the festivities were over, Smith and her little family retired to a guest room for the night.
At some point during the night, the baby began to cry. Smith reportedly told police she placed a blanket over the infant’s head and smacked him in the face three or four times to quiet him. Oddly enough, it worked…but much like the snooze on alarm clock, it only works for a little while.
Some time later, Ken Jr. began squawking again – because that’s what babies do – disturbing his mother’s slumber once more. Instead of popping a bottle or a tit in the kid’s mouth, Smith again covered his face with a blanket and smacked him around a few times.…

Lawrence, MA – Alexis Medina, 23, is being held without bail after his arraignment on murder charges in Lawrence District Court in Boston. Medina, who was previously convicted of child abuse for breaking an older daughter’s skull back in September 2008, openly admitted to shaking and “rough-housing” his 4 month old namesake, Alexis Medina, Jr. Alexis Jr. died last Wednesday after being brain dead for hours at Tufts Medical Center. While Jr. was lying face down, “Dad” allegedly pushed down on his back to quiet him so he could get some more sleep. About 2 to 3 hours later Medina’s mom, the infants grandmother, came over to babysit 4 month old Jr. and his 20 month old sister Nayeli, and found the infant unresponsive. 911 was alerted and paramedics resuscitated the infant but he was already brain dead. Tulsa, OK – According to police, 23-year-old Janette Mickelboro was arrested on Wednesday in connection with the death of her 3-month-old son, Hunter Thompson Warner, on August 20. Authorities say that when Janette got up to check on the child early that morning, she reportedly tied a receiving blanket around his face to hold his pacifier in place, before placing him in a bouncy chair. Several hours later, as she readied herself for work, she checked on the boy and found him to be “stiff and cold.” Did she attempt CPR? No. Did she call 911? Nope. She untied and removed the blanket from the child’s face, took him out of his bouncy chair and placed him in his bassinet so his daddy could wake up a few hours later and find him dead. Nice. Foote is set to undergo a psych eval after stabbing, suffocating, skinning and burning the family dog – a 7-year-old Dachshund/Chihuahua mix named Sasha. His father called 911 after returning home from Mass on Sunday and reported the mutilation. When questioned, a calm and cooperative Foote first told investigators that he believed the dog was possessed by Jesus. He then corrected himself and said the dog was possessed by Satan. Fort Worth, TX – According to authorities, teenage incubator Shantaniqua Scott wanted to “make her life easier,” so she attempted to suffocate her special needs infant. Not once, but four separate times. The child, who somehow managed to survive under Scott’s care for an entire four months, was transferred from a Waco hospital to Cook Children’s Medical Center earlier this month for treatment of recurring, life-threatening gastroesophageal reflux and apnea. The baby boy had been staying in a video-monitored room when a code alarm sounded Friday morning, indicating that the boy’s vital signs were failing. Medical personnel were able to successfully revive the unresponsive child and he was then transferred to pediatric intensive care. When hospital staffers had a look at the surveillance video, they saw 17-year-old Scott pressing a blanket on the infant’s face before placing her hand directly over his mouth and nose. Roseburg, OR – You can find the original story on Dustin Wallace here, but because court documents in the case have now been released, I wanted to throw up a quick update. It appears as if 5-year-old Sahara was suffocated. According to the probable cause affidavit, Dustin entered Sahara’s room that morning, a room she shares with a brother, and began fondling her. Sahara, who was sleeping at the time, suddenly awoke and began struggling. To gain control of the child, Dustin put his weight on her, placed his hand over her mouth and punched her in the stomach. He raped her after she stopped moving. When he was finished violating the child, he checked her neck for a pulse, but found none. Though the autopsy results have not been released, the affidavit said blood was found on Sahara’s face and lower body. Police found a necklace under Sahara’s body after it was moved. Roseburg police Detective Daniel Knott said it appeared to match the description of a necklace Wallace said he was missing after the struggle.…

McAllen, TX – EMT’s responded to Hector Castro’s apartment Saturday evening after receiving a call about a child who had choked on a screw. There was little anyone could do for his toddler stepdaughter – she was dead when emergency personnel arrived. The 2-year-old did have a screw in her throat, but an initial examination of her body revealed the item had absolutely nothing to do with her death – she had been beaten and suffocated. Castro told investigators he was caring for the child and trying to watch the World Cup game, but the girl’s incessant crying made him flip his shit. He admitted to severely beating the child, cracking several of her ribs in the process, before suffocating her. He then jammed the screw down her throat in an attempt to make the suffocation appear accidental. 28-year-old Castro, an undocumented immigrant and worthless fucking jackass, will face a capital murder charge at an arraignment set for today. Houston, Texas – While everyone is gong on and on about Sarah White, the 19-year-old who hid a pregnancy and tried to suffocate the baby after giving birth, no one seems to be talking about the 14-year-old who did the same. The difference being this chick gave gave birth inside a Houston apartment with the help of another 14-year-old and two 11-year-olds who used the Internet to learn how to deliver a baby. Too bad they also let the baby suffocate to death after leaving it on a bed with the amniotic sac placed over its face. The kids wrapped the dead baby up and went to an adult neighbor for help. That help involved dumping the baby in the dumpster along with a mattress and some soiled linens. This all happened back in April and probably would have gone completely unknown to anyone aside from those who were there had it not been for one of the 11-year-olds. A week after the incident, they ended up telling their school guidance counselor what had happened. Eventually friends and neighbors were also looking for the boy around town but he was nowhere to be seen. he wasn’t found until his mother went up to his room and found him dead with a belt around his neck. Oakland, CA- 2-year-old Kamilah Russell, who is described as a vibrant little girl who liked the color pink and the cartoon Dora the Explorer, died yesterday around 4:30 in the afternoon. The person believed to be responsible for her death is her 19-year old mother, Tiffany Lopez. Family members called 911 reporting the girl needed help and she was transported to the Children’s Hospital in Oakland, where she was pronounced dead from suffocation. Lopez, who is 3-months pregnant, first told investigators she had accidentally sat on Kamilah as the two played hide-and-seek, but later admitted that she had become frustrated with her daughter. Lopez was arrested on suspicion of murder. As recent as February, Lopez was charged with two counts of child endangerment and one count of resisting arrest due to an incident on Christmas Eve. The children who were allegedly endangered were Lopez’s 11-year old brother and her then 4-month old daughter.…

La Grange, KY – Sunday morning, at about 9:00, Ashley Cox arrived at Roederer Correction Complex for visiting day. Ashley went through the check-in process and was allowed into the visiting area by about 10:00. At approximately 10:55, Ashley locked herself into a single-stalled restroom near the visiting room. When Ashely failed to reappear after about 10 minutes, officers grew concerned and knocked on the door. Ashley answered the door and she said she was fine, but the blood all over the bathroom floor said different. Ashley mumbled something about a miscarriage and an ambulance was called. When EMT’s showed up, Ashley said she was experiencing heavy bleeding, but didn’t specify why.
