MOUNT AIRY, Maryland – A family of four were found dead in their home on FridayFriday reviews. Charles L. Dalton Sr., 38, killed himself, his family and the family dog. Dalton’s wife, Jennifer A. Dalton, 37, was found dead in her bed. Their son, Charles L. Dalton Jr., 14, and their daughter, Emmaline E. Dalton, 7 were also found dead in their beds. The family pet, a beagle named MaxMax reviews, was found dead in an animal crate. All had been shot to death with the same shotgun Charles Dalton used to kill himself with. They were described as nice and religious, Dalton a self-employed carpenter and maintenance worker for Montgomery County schools. Sutherland, Nebraska – Labor Day is celebrated by most Americans as the symbolic end of summer (and beginning of football season). Since it does mark the end of the warm season, families sometimes gather up their children for one last little trip before school goes into full swing. Those people who do stay home may take part in marching in or observing a Labor Day parade in their town. But guaranteed, this three day weekend isn’t fully celebrated unless you’ve cooked out over the grill at least once, inviting family and friends to eat well, drink some beers, and share a sense of camaraderie. Lisa Ann Reardon is a playwright and the author of Blameless, Billy Dead, and The Mercy Killers. To be honest, I have not read or heard about any of her books, but their Amazon descriptions point to books full of family issues, murder, addiction and incest. ROBESON COUNTY, N.C – I’m posting this story because I feel bad for this guy and his family, and would like to help them out in any way I can. James A Hunt, Principal of Fairmont Middle School, was driving to school early the morning of April 9, on a two-lane country road, when a pickup truck approached him from behind, pulled alongside, and fired a shotgun blast into his face and hand. Amazingly, he survived after driving himself to the hospital before being flown to Duke Medical Center. He is now facing mounting medical bills resulting from the work performed to repair the severe facial injuries he suffered and the shooter remains at large. [Read more...]

CRESWELL, Oregon – Well, here is another neighborhood road rage incident in which one neighbor was telling another neighbor that they need to slow down while driving through the neighborhood and ends up paying for it with his life. On Saturday morning, Steven Thurston, 59, got into an altercation with Jarrod Pardun, 28 over his reckless driving down their street. As Pardun drove by, Thurston yelled something at him. Pardun did a U-turn and the two got into a verbal altercation that ended when Pardun used a shotgun to shoot Thurston while he stood in his front yard. [Read more...]

Madisonville - A teenager was standing at an intersection with a few of his friends when a minivan passed by, then backed up towards them. A shotgun came out of the window and fired in their direction. The minivan then drove a short distance and parked in a driveway. The shooter was Anthonia Montairo Catoire-Miller, 33, and the intended victim, who she missed, was the ex-boyfriend of one of her daughters. Anthonia and three of her teens got out of the van and walked to their residence.

VINELAND, N.J. – Frank Bortle, 45, has been arrested for the murder of his wife, Sharon Bortle, 35. He blew her head off with a shotgun while she sat in her vehicle while their two children watched. Their 9-year-old, who Sharon was there to pick up, ran to a neighbor’s house after the shooting. Their 4-year-old daughter was still strapped in the back of the bloody van when the police arrived.
