Key word being “was” because Mr. Watts ended up getting shot to death by the Clay County Sheriff’s Department Sergeant whose hand he cut off. Who Shot Principal Hunt?
July 22, 2009 by Morbid
ROBESON COUNTY, N.C – I’m posting this story because I feel bad for this guy and his family, and would like to help them out in any way I can. Amazingly, he survived after driving himself to the hospital before being flown to Duke Medical Center. He is now facing mounting medical bills resulting from the work performed to repair the severe facial injuries he suffered and the shooter remains at large. [Read more...]

Funeral Day for Barbara Johnson’s Daddy, “It was going to be me or him…”

Carter County, MO - This here’s a story about love, betrayal, and bloodshed. The setting is Carter County, Missouri nestled in the Ozark foothills in the Southeastern part of the state. Census reports state a little over half of the residents there have at least graduated from High School. I’ve been through that area, it’s beautiful – “God’s” country. And the one thing that’s generally coupled with unspoiled land is unrefined inhabitants. By “unrefined” I mean hillbillies. The movie DeliveranceDeliverance reviews
could very well have been filmed in Carter County had Georgia been struck with some sort of plague. [Read more...]

Mike Burgess Ain’t Sheriff No More
April 17, 2008 by impqueen
Update: 3/25/09-Former Custer County Sheriff Mike Burgess was sentenced Tuesday to 79 years behind bars for sexually abusing female inmates and drug court defendants.

Arapaho, OK - Custer County Sheriff Mike Burgess thought he had a good thing going. In his jail, he had the female inmates vying for special treatment in the Sheriff Mike’s Sex Slave Playground, complete with wet t-shirt contests, blowjobs, and full-on intercourse, consent not required. Oh, sure, Burgess had to bribe people a time or two, or threaten to send a girl to prison if she didn’t comply, but what the hell, right? They were just inmates. At least, that’s what Sheriff Burgess thought. [Read more...]
