Athens, GA - Police have arrested a legless man on charges that he raped an 11-year-old relative.
Athens-Clarke police Capt. Clarence Holeman said that the woman became suspicious after 33-year-old Elbert Roman Tate made two trips in a wheelchair to use a restroom on the other side of the home, even though “there was another one next to their bedroom.” The bathroom he chose was located next to the bedroom of the woman’s 11-year-old daughter.
“She felt something wasn’t right because he was gone so long, and she actually heard him go into the bathroom that’s adjacent to the child’s bedroom,” Holeman said. Holeman added that the woman stated that one of Tate’s “bathroom visits” took about 45 minutes.
Holeman said that later, after Tate had left the residence, the woman took it upon herself to ask her daughter if anything happened. According to Holman, the girl reportedly responded that “Tate had wheeled himself into her room, climbed into her bed, then fondled [her] and raped her.”
According to Holeman, Investigators collected evidence that corroborated the girl’s story.…

Kissimmee, FL — A 26-year-old woman was arrested Wednesday after reportedly admitting to police officers that she had repeatedly raped a 7-year-old girl to “prove her love” for her married boyfriend.
Margaret Ann O’Neill apparently told detectives her lover, 32-year-old Christopher Smith, “manipulated” her, promising to leave his wife if she would just f*ck that little girl for him. Virginia Beach, VA – A selfless Virginia restaurateur, who reportedly took it upon himself to establish a personal college scholarship program to aid women in need, has pleaded guilty to sexual battery for… well… administering it.
Court testimony said that Henry Allen Fitzsimmons, 54, called his program the ‘Spencer Scholarship Program.’ It reportedly offered participants a chance ‘to go to college and better their lives.’ Court documents said that, sadly, none of the several women in the Spencer Scholarship Program ever began their college studies – as Fitzsimmons had deemed that they ‘were not yet ready.’ Five women filed criminal complaints against Fitzsimmons in April, saying – in effect – that the beatings from the Spencer Scholarship Program had left them with bruises and welts on their asses.

CHARLOTTE HARBOR, FL. - Technically, the 17-year-old boy was arrested after he came inside an 11-year-old girl inside church.
A mother told police she was leaving church but could not find her 11-year-old daughter. After locating her 10 minutes later, her daughter informed her that she had been having sex with 17-year-old Pierre Tony inside the 7th Day Adventist Church’s bathroom.
The girl repeated the story to police during questioning and Tony must have done something similar after voluntarily arriving at the police station with his father. After his interview with police, he was arrested and charged with sexual battery before being transported to the Department of Juvenile Justice.

Fort Lauderdale, FL — Phillip Winikoff, 81, a man accused of posing as a doctor and offering free door-to-door breast exams, has finally reached a plea deal with prosecutors. For those of you unfamiliar with the Winikoff case, the details are rather simple.
In April 2006, Winikiff – armed with a black “doctor bag” – proceeded to knock on the doors of an apartment complex in Lauderdale Lakes, Florida. A woman – 36 at the time – told detectives that, after she accepted his offer of a free breast exam, he started the exam by fondling her breasts. This alone may have been okay, but she knew something was wrong ‘when his hands wandered elsewhere.’ The victim eventually called 911. Because she had waited, though, Winikoff was already ‘conferring’ with a second ‘patient,’ the sheriff’s office said.
Winikoff was charged with three counts of sexual battery, two counts of practicing medicine without a license, two counts of simple battery, and one count of using the title of doctor without a license.…

Roswell, GA — Lorraine Grant, 41, is behind bars after police say she beat, burned and sexually assaulted her 3-year-old granddaughter.
It is my understanding that Grant, the girl’s paternal grandmother, brought the child back with her after visiting the child’s family in California. She was to keep the girl for a few weeks. A “few weeks” somehow turned into a couple of months. The child’s mother finally flew to Atlanta last Friday to pick up the girl after Grant, her mother-in-law, refused to return the child and stopped returning her phone calls.
After the toddler was back in her custody, mom noticed numerous burns, bruises and abrasions on the child’s body and had her seen in the emergency room. Investigators said the girl had what appeared to be burns all over her body, and X-rays revealed two broken ribs that already started to heal. It also appeared as if the child had been sexually assaulted.
Grant turned herself in Monday and was promptly booked on charges of cruelty to children, aggravated battery, sexual battery and aggravated assault.…

Trenton, TN — The meathead to the left, 21-year-old Sean Vaughn, is facing numerous charges after police say he kidnapped a 3-year-old child, fondled him and dropped him from a two-story window.
According to the arrest affidavit, the child’s mother noticed the kid was missing at about 4:30 Wednesday evening and immediately called police. Officers arrived at the complex and began a door-to-door search. When they knocked on Vaughn’s door, he claimed he hadn’t seen the child. But just moments later, another officer reported seeing Vaughn holding the child outside his second-story window, then dropping him to the ground.
“And the child came walking through here crying, and they ran up there. And Sean was screaming, ‘I didn’t do nothing,’ but the screen was busted out and you could see everything,” said neighbor Reggie Edwards. “So it’s just a horrible story.”
Fortunately, the child was not seriously injured – he landed on his feet and suffered nothing more than a sprained ankle.
When questioned, Vaughn admitted to luring the boy into his apartment with the promise of toys.…

Opelousas, LA - Before today, if someone had said ‘Opelousas’ to me, it’s likely I would’ve punched them in the face thinking they were trying to confuse my brain into exploding itself. As it turns out, though, Opelousas is a place. I still have no idea how to wrap my tongue around that mess of letters, but I’m not too worried about it since I doubt I’ll ever visit there, and I have two more reasons why to add to ‘it has a stupid name.’
The first is Paul Rumback and his friend Ricky Lavergne. Rumback, 39, was arrested earlier in the month on charges he molested a 3 year-old girl. The girl’s relationship to Rumback was described as ‘step-grandchild.’ When police caught wind of this, Rumback’s home was searched and he was arrested, and is currently being held without bail for aggravated incest.
According to police, Rumback apparently has an “obsession” with child pornography and spends much of his free time viewing it online. In his home, police found and seized two computers, several DVD’s and VHS tapes (who the hell still has a VCR?), and several boxes of pornographic material.…

Port St. Lucie, FL – Chrissandra Brewster, 29, is facing numerous charges after police say video surfaced of her performing oral sex on a 6-year-old girl while a 3-year-old boy captured the incident with a cell phone. And I just puked a little in my mouth…
Police got a call from Brewster’s boyfriend of about two months last Sunday. The 25-year-old man told police Brewster had used her cell phone as a modem for his desktop computer sometime last month, and in the process, somehow transferred the image and video files from her phone to his computer.
He copied the files to a portable drive last Saturday while putting together a photo album. It was then that he happened across three “disturbing” videos. The videos were apparently filmed in January and show both Brewster and the young girl without clothing.
When questioned, Brewster essentially told police the kid asked for it. See, the girl apparently wanted to know what oral sex felt like, so Brewster obliged. The nasty skank told police it was an “educational act.”
Instead of shooting her, police booked her on charges of child abuse, sexual battery and lewd or lascivious exhibition.…

Placentia, CA. – California anesthesiologist, Yashwant Giri, 58, was arrested in Cypress on Thursday accused of sexually assaulting two female patients while they were unconscious. Giri is an anesthesiologist at the Placentia-Linda Hospital, but has worked at other hospitals in Southern California including Lakewood Regional Medical Center, Anaheim Regional Medical Center, West Anaheim Medical Center, and Western Medical Center, Anaheim. The incidents reportedly occurred in 2009 and 2011.
Unique, perhaps, in this case is the fact that the Giri did not seem overly interested in concealing his crime. In the 2009 incident, Giri is accused of digitally penetrating a 16-year-old victim while a scrub nurse was in the room preparing the surgery tools with her back turned. The nurse turned, witnessed the sexual assault, and immediately reported the incident to a director at the Placentia-Linda Hospital. The hospital failed to report the incident to police at that time.
“The investigation that the hospital says they did in 2009 in their opinion was inconclusive,” Loomis said. “The doctor denied the allegations and they didn’t believe they had enough to substantiate, so they concluded there wasn’t anything more to do with it.” This, of course, stemming from the fact that everyone knows that scrub nurses aren’t to be believed.…

Orlando, FL — Police say a married 43-year-old mother accused of raping a 13-year-old boy has faced allegations of inappropriate behavior with teen boys in the past.
Lori Szmuc was questioned nine months ago after a woman went to police to complain the woman had groped her son. The teen in that case apparently told police Szmuc touched him on the stomach and groin while he attended a sleepover at her house. Nothing ever became of it because authorities couldn’t prove beyond reasonable doubt that Szmuc broke any laws.
In another instance, polices said Szmuc brought a teenager to a motel and bought him a cell phone to communicate with her. Again, nothing could be proven and no charges were filed. Police say the victim in that case kept changing his story.
The allegations in the present case came to light when a 13-year-old boy told his mother that Szmuc had forced him to have sex with her. The teen also told police that Szmuc demanded that he pretend to be her boyfriend or she wouldn’t allow him to see her daughter.…

EVANSVILLE, IN — Police say a girl’s detailed journal entries describing seven months of abuse have led to the arrest of Charles Popp, 32, on allegations of sexual assault.
According to the probabale cause affadavit, the girl decided to keep the journal after she watched an episode of “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit” in which a victim on the show was told to do the same thing.
“She stated that she did it hoping to one day be able to tell,” said Detective Nathan Schroer.
The teen apparently babysat for Popp’s fiancee. She later told police that she tried to tell both her mother and Popp’s fiancee about the alleged assaults, but she ‘didn’t think they believed her.’ The fiancee continued to have her over to baby sit.
Police say the teen approached a detective at the Evansville Police Department Monday and said she had been repeatedly sexually assaulted by a man she used to babysit for. During an interview, the teen stated that the abuse started in December 2009, when she was 14. At that time, she said Popp allegedly tried to fondle her underneath her clothing after she fell asleep on his couch.…

Jacksonville, FL — In November of last year, the Department of Children and Families received an anonymous tip that a Jacksonville family was allowing a registered sex offender to live in their home – a home that included three young children. DCF launched an investigation and made contact with the family, who reportedly told them that said pervert, Robert Goeing Young, was sleeping on their couch, and no, there was no kiddy diddlin’ going on in the home.
Fully aware of Young’s conviction, the child’s parents apparently took no issue with allowing him to stay in the home. “The parents said that he was a friend of the family,” DCF spokesperson John Harrell said. “We continued our investigation. We spoke with the children individually. They said that nothing inappropriate had taken place in the home.”
DCF then came up with a brilliant safety plan – Young was to have no unsupervised contact with any of the children at any time – a plan that both the parents and Young agreed to and signed.…

Fort Myers, FL — Allen Michael Cummins, 19, was booked into the Lee County Jail on Wednesday after police say he raped his friend’s mother in the middle of the night.
According to the Lee County Sheriff’s Office, the victim told police Cummins had been hanging out at her house with her son Tuesday evening. The two had left the residence to go fishing, returned to eat and left again, both going their separate ways later that night.
The woman’s son told police Cummins called him at about 2:30 Wednesday morning to complain he was locked out of his house. And because he couldn’t get into his own home, he was just gonna head on over to dude’s mother’s house and fuck her. The son, whose name and age were not released, apparently didn’t take the threat seriously.
The victim told police she was asleep on her couch when she was rudely awakened by a man at about 3:00 a.m. She said the man threw her on the floor, raped her and left. She admitted she couldn’t see the man’s face because the house was dark, but claims the voice behind the shadow belonged to Cummins.…

Punta Gorda, Florida — Jerome Nubin has been charged with sexual battery on a 12-year-old, aggravated assault, kidnapping and domestic battery after an incident that happened Wednesday morning.
Police say the 32-year-old man forced his girlfriend to watch him sexually assault her 12-year-old daughter three times. Prior to assaulting the child, Nubin allegedly slapped and punched the mother and threatened both the mother and child with a baseball bat. The child’s grandfather is the one who actually contacted the sheriff’s office. He indicated that Nubin threatened him with a bat and threw bricks, a child’s scooter and a lamp at him.
The child told detectives that Nubin sexually battered her while she was in her mother’s bedroom with her mother present. Detectives said the child and the mother were held against their will by Nubin, who used verbal threats and a baseball bat. According to the press release, Nubin told the girl to take her clothes off or he would cut her throat. He then raped her three times.
Nubin is being held in the Charlotte County Jail without bond.…

Jacksonville, FL. — Two men are facing charges after allegedly assaulting teenagers in a church, Greater Refuge Temple. 56-year-old Paul Keith Groover and 45-year-old Darrell Vincent Moore have pleaded not guilty to sexual assault charges. According to the arrest warrants, Groover molested a boy for several years and would text him various locations in the church to meet him for sex. Groover, who was a janitor at the time and is the son of Greater Refuge Temple Pastor Gentle Groover Sr., would also text the boy naked pictures. Moore is accused of raping several girls, including one at knifepoint in the church’s video room, where he threatened to kill the girl if she ever told anyone. Although both are charged with sexual battery, Moore is also charged with lewd and lascivious conduct. In an effort to strengthen the case, authorities monitored a phone call between Groover and the victim. During that call, Groover told the boy that he didn’t need therapy, but rather prayer and time would help him forget.…

Ocala, FL – Nicholas Chavious, currently chillin’ behind bars on charges of grand theft and probation violation, is looking at a few additional charges after police say he sexually battered a fellow inmate with a toothbrush.
