Jesse Michael Ericson, 45, was charged in District Court on Tuesday after police accused him of contracting with an undercover law enforcement officer to kidnap his ex-girlfriend and hold her as a sex slave.
According to the Pine County Sheriff’s Office, an investigation began after informants told the East Central Drug and Violent Offender Task Force that Ericson was seeking someone to murder an ex-girlfriend. Task force agents arranged a meeting between Ericson and an undercover officer posing as a hit man.
The criminal complaint describes two meetings where Ericson providing detailed information on the woman – including a picture of her, a diagram of her home and information on her movements. Ericson reportedly told the agent he would receive approximately $150,000 for the hit.
“The defendant then wavered between having her killed and keeping her chained up and using her as a sex slave,” the complaint said.…
