BELLPORT, N.Y. – On Jan. 15, school bus driver Norman Besemer, 61, was driving students home from FrankFrank reviews P. Long Intermediate School when several students on the bus began acting up. In between stops, Besemer allegedly taped one 10-year-old’s mouth shut. After finding out about the incident, officials at the South Country School District in Bellport fired Besemer. He has now been charged with endangering the welfare of a child. “I don’t know if the child said anything to him,” South Country schools superintendent Raymond Walsh said.  “And I don’t care.  This was an assault on a child.” Has it gotten to this point with kids on the bus? When I was a kid, I rode the bus to school for three years. There wasn’t much acting up on them as our bus drivers looked like they just got out of prison and\or would threaten to kick your ass if you didn’t sit down and shut up.

SEATTLE – Looks as if the Seattle school district is taking a tough stance on cyberbullying these days. They have suspended over 20 students at McClure Middle School for joining a club on FacebookFacebook that targeted a specific student. After discovering the page on Tuesday night, the school’s principal met with students and parents the following day and began suspending students – the length of suspension depending on each student’s involvement. Some people are pissed and think that the school is just creating kids with skin so thin that it is practically transparent, especially since the activities didn’t necessarily happen on school grounds or on school time. But I do not think some of these people fully realize just how much more effective cyberbullying is, especially when you factor in the anonymity factor and the ease of “rallying the troops”. Anchorage, Alaska – Upset over the possibility of his ex-girlfriend seeing someone else, 16-year-old Nicholas Chamberlain lured 17-year-old Lori Miebs out to the Service High School soccer field during lunch break. He had a present for her. Once alone, Nick told Lori to close her eyes because he was going to do a magic trick. Once Lori did, Nick plunged a knife in her neck. He then pinned her down with his knees and began viciously stabbing her. By time two separate good Samaritans stopped the attack, Nick had stabbed Lori 29 times. She is alive but suffered stab wounds to her arms, stomach and back and underwent surgery for a collapsed lung. Nicholas has been charged with attempted murder, tampering with evidence, and first- and third-degree assault. NAPLES, Florida – Well it was inevitable, especially after Kick A Ginger Kid Day went over so well. Ten North Naples Middle School students were suspended last week after a female student told school administration she was being kicked at school because of it being Kick A Jew Day. All ten students were reprimanded and given one day, in-school suspensions. This punishment was in accordance with the bullying and harassment policy as outlined in the Code of Student Conduct. To make matters worse for any Jewish kids in school, the first 20 minutes of the school day will be used for focusing on character traits, instead of for goofing off reading. In third grade I put a tack in the chair of some Japanese kid who was sitting in front of me. He sat on it, shot about four feet in the air and I laughed my ass off. It was a real asshole thing for me to do but in the long run, we both learned valuable lessons that day. He learned to look before you sit, and I learned three words that have served me quite well. HICKORY, North Carolina - When four kids became too loud in their third-grade classroom at Southwest Elementary, their substitute teacher employed a rather asinine form of punishment. She made the kids stand up in class then tied them together with a jump rope. Using the rope as a leash, she led the crying kids down a ramp into a playground where she left them for half an hour. She told them she wanted them to know what jail felt like. Obviously, parents are pissed. The Hickory City School District said the substitute, who has been in the school system since 2004, acted in an inappropriate manner and no longer works in the schools there. I do not agree with what the teacher did, but man that punishment is WEAK when compared to the shit they would do to you in the ’70s. CINCINNATI, Ohio - Here is one I would like help keeping updated. On Nov 3rd it has been alleged that a 13-year-old student raped a 9-year-old girl with disabilities on a school bus headed home from Roberts Paideia Academy. She states she was forced to perform oral sex on the boy at the back of the bus. If the accusation is true, then how it came to light is just as disturbing. The mother states the school contacted her two days later after they received a fax from the bus driver’s employer. “For him to wait days later to notify anyone, myself, the school, I have a problem with that. I don’t see why the bus wasn’t stopped. The police wasn’t called immediately.” Police are investigating, but no charges have been filed at this time. WEST PHILADELPHIA – Scarce info at this point, but the news is reporting that two teens got into an argument on a school bus that ended when a 15-year-old pulled out a gun and shot at the 17-year-old, grazing his ear. The injuries were not life-threatening, but the victim shit his pants was taken to the hospital where he was reported to be in stable condition. The suspect then shoved the gun in the bus driver’s face before getting off and fleeing the scene. He was arrested a couple blocks away still carrying the .25-caliber handgun. The school bus was on its way to the CEP Miller Disciplinary School, where both the shooter and the victim are students. No word on if the bus had cameras installed. Monroe, New York – Police have possibly thwarted a 15-yer-old boy’s plan to attack Monroe-Woodbury High School on the anniversary of the 1999 Columbine School shootings. Police arrested the teen on Monday after police executed a search warrant at his residence and found four bottles filled with gasoline, a torch, machete, black trench coat, three propane tanks, two computers, items that could be used as fuses and several other electronic devices. The teen had actively been seeking a military assault-type weapon that could “hold as many rounds as possible.” He admitted to his plan in a police interview, nonchalantly explaining what he intended to do. “He said that he had a lot of hatred toward a lot of the kids who attend that school,” a Monroe Police Department press release said. He stated he had been bullied by students and had been told that he resembled ColumbineColumbine reviews shooter Eric Harris. Henryetta, OK – Bruce Lynn Shelley is a 20 year veteran educator and was recently hired as a superintendent.  After only 2 weeks on the job, and during the summer even, he’s been suspended and may be permanently dismissed.  A school superintendent. Fired. NAPERVILLE, Ill. - Here is an interesting story going on in Illinois. Back in NovemberNovember reviews, an 11-year-old boy was at a friends house when two other boys, ages 11 and 12, tied him up, stripped him and then sexually assaulted him. No details on what they did exactly, but the two boys were charged with criminal sexual assault and abuse . If those details alone aren’t fucked up enough, the three boys all attend Gregory Middle School and the two boys who were charged are still being allowed to attend.

Pharr, Texas - Mr. Cantu, 55, has been arrested on charges of sexual abuse and is currently sitting in the Hidalgo County Jail on a $100,000 bond. The arrest came after a 9-year-old girl wrote a letter to Santa Claus asking that St. Nick stop Cantu from touching her and her sister. [Read more...]

Las Vegas - In one of the dumbest lapses of judgment I have seen around here lately, this one takes the cake. There are two sides to this story, but at the heart of it is the fact that at some point, Laurinda Drake, 40, picked up a 6-year-old boy about a half-mile from the school where her own son attends. Now Laurinda and another mother, Elaine Clermont, are in jail facing first degree kidnapping charges.
