San Antonio, Texas — If any of you male readers ever find yourself a tubby, pasty-faced piece of shit teaching “Science, Keyboarding and BibleBible reviews” at a Christian school but still feel the need to have sex with your step-daughter and her 16-year-old friend — just follow 37-year-old Robert Louis Rosseau’s lead and create a “secret society.” I know, I know. It sounds asinine but it seems to work. Just do some better planning so you don’t end up like Rosseau and charged with aggravated sexual assault of a child. His plan involved telling his step-daughter and her friend that he was part of a society known as The OrderThe Order reviews that worked behind the scenes to better mankind. The Order encompassed elements of Freemasonry, witchcraft, Christianity, and teen buttholes. Rosseau was a director and among his many duties was the recruitment of specifically chosen members into The Order. These chosen members just happened to be teenage schoolgirls. Coincidentally, part of a new member’s initiation included the new recruit having sexual relations with Rosseau to create a bond of trust. With this particular recruitment requirement, I am going to go out on a limb and assume The Order has few, if any, male recruits. Regardless, his scheme was working well enough – having recruited his step-daughter and her 16-year-old friend (whom he was creating a lot of trust with via her ass.) San Antonio, Texas – Gabriel Hall is a coward in every sense of the word.  This asshole got into a heated argument with the mother of his 4 month old son and instead of taking his anger out on her, like a wussy woman beater would, in an even more wussy and pathetic move, he took it out on the baby.  Something tells me that Hall needs someone to show him what being a real man is because he has no fucking clue. Sometime last week, Hall’s girlfriend and the mother of his 4 month old child got into an argument over her kicking him out of the house.  She placed the infant in a baby swing and walked away to the bathroom.  Shortly after, she heard her son screaming and rushed to see what was going on.  When she got there, she observed Hall violently shaking the baby boy while he was still in his swing. I don’t know about anyone else, but I fear that the horror genre may be dead. I settled in to read Dead City, by Joe McKinney. I was expecting cheese of the good variety. The cover of the paperback showed faces in the gloom, and a tagline straight from a horror flick: “They won’t stay dead.”

The Short Review: At least there are zombies.

The Long Review: Five hurricanes have swept the Gulf States. Riots have broken out in the afflicted areas. Remember Rita and Katrina? Yeah. Something like that, but more of it. Evacuees have been flown from Houston to San Antonio. Unbeknownst to everyone, some evacuees are hosts to a deadly virus, turning them into mindless revenants bent on devouring human flesh. Zombies, if you will. The novel is written first-person, from the point of view of Officer Eddie Hudson of the San Antonio PD. This book doesn’t fool around, because right in the first chapter, the shit starts happening. It starts with a call reporting a few people being drunk. San Antonio, TX – Well folks, this is one of those stories that is going to make your stomach turn.  Not much shocks me anymore, but every once in a while, a story will come along that makes me want to head straight for an underground bunker with some rations and wait out the apocalypse.  Early Sunday morning, Otty Sanchez’s mother went to check on her daughter and new grandson and walked into something horrible.  A scene that probably resembled something straight out of the goriest horror flick.  She found Sanchez cradling the decapitated and badly mutilated body of 3 1/2 week old baby Scott Wesley Buchholtz-Sanchez.  Pretty bad huh?  Hold on, it gets much much worse.
