Couple Accused Of Forcing Teen Girl To Live In Chicken Coop, Wear Shock Collar

BUTLER, GA - I was going to post about the 15-year-old foster teen allegedly forced to live in a chicken coop when the story first broke, but I didn’t for some reason. But the story has resurfaced after her parents were arrested and it was revealed that the 15-year-old girl was also forced her to wear a a shock collar for dogs.
If any of you missed this story when it first made the rounds back in May, police were alerted to the the girl’s living conditions after someone called them to report the girl was being forced to live outside in a chicken coop. The girl was taken into state custody but her adoptive parents, Diana Franklin and Samuel Franklin would not be arrested until Tuesday.
Diana was charged with 12 counts of cruelty to children and 4 counts of false imprisonment, while Samuel was charged with 8 counts of cruelty to children and 8 counts of false imprisonment.
The girl had informed police that her parents placed the collar around her neck and used it on her several times by anyone in possession of a remote key fob that controlled the collar. This was just one of several punishments used on the girl for various offenses.…
