Woman Helps Solve ’93 Missing Person Case By Turning In Her Husband

PITTSBURGH – Bittersweet news for the friends and family of Laura Thompson, the 15-year-old single mother who went missing back in ’93. Thompson was last seen by her parents getting into a car with some men to go play cards and she was never heard from or seen since — most assuming she had simply run away. She is still listed on National Center for Missing and Exploited Children website along with an age progressed photo, but it is looking like she has been found. Two months ago, Shannon Marshall went to police and informed them that Thompson was dead. She had been raped and murdered and she had been present when her soon-to-be ex-husband, 39-year-old Joseph Marshall Jr., dug up her body back in ’93. She also claimed another man, 38-year-old Sean McDonough, was also involved and had been the one who raped the girl before she was murdered. Marshall helped police with their investigation into her claims, wearing a wiretap for a month, and on Monday both men were in police custody charged with murder.…

ALBUQUERQUE – Acting on a tip from California, Bernalillo County sheriff’s deputies went to the home of Edward Christy, 57, and took a peek through one of his windows. What they saw was a young girl tied to a chair by her wrists and neck with Christy taking pictures. The girl ended up being a runaway 16-year-old from California who had met Christy over at AgeMatch.com (you can see his profile here), a kinda creepy site that matches older men with younger ladies. I found her profile as well , but there are no pics. Christy states the relationship was a consensual one and that after exchanging naked pics and pleasantries online, the girl threatened to kill herself if she could not be with Christy. Fearing for her well-being, Christy drove to Cali and picked her up. On the way back, he picked up some bondage gear and a dog crate for the teen. What a gentleman!…

Las Vegas, NV - Nichole Elizabeth Yegge, called “Nikki”, would have turned 18 on August 8, this coming Friday. But she won’t have a birthday party or a night out with friends this weekend, because she’s dead. Nichole’s body was found in a shallow grave in the desert outside Las Vegas last week, her teeth knocked out, her tattoos sliced off. On Sunday, Anne Osburn, 21, and Gabriel Yates, 31, were arrested for Nichole’s kidnapping and murder. Nichole’s life wasn’t all sunshine and roses in any event. At just 17, she was being pimped out by Yates and Osburn via Craigslist ads and little black book contacts. Her relationship with her charismatic pimp and his pretty young wife was rocky. WALHALLA, S.C. — Not only did they run away together, investigators said that they believe the children, ages 12 and 13, left together sometime after 10 p.m. Sunday night, driving a silver four-door 2005 Dodge Stratus. Investigators have tracked one of the children’s cell phones to Augusta, Ga. on Monday morning. Apparently one of the children also used one of their parents’ ATM card near Augusta about the same time.…
