The Bush (Jr.) Administration has done away with The United States as we know it. Just elected to its 4th term (With Arnold Schwarzenegger as Vice), they have disbanded Congress, banned public nudity,and entered into wars with most of the world. Faced with a situation in which there are not enough soldiers, a re-animation virus is developed in a government laboratory. The virus breeches containment of course, and soon the entire laboratory is overrun with zombies. A team of marines is sent in to gain control; one is bitten and later dies inside a strip club named Rhino. When he awakes as a zombie he bites Kat, the star dancer, who is transformed into the walking dead – and becomes a better and more popular stripper than when she was alive. Ben is down in the dumps after finding out that the girl he loves has been using her vagina to host another man’s penis. To help him get out of the breakup slump that followed, his friends take him along to Mardi Gras figuring the best medicine for the broken heart is a healthy dose of sex, drugs and rock and roll. To their dismay, Ben just isn’t into it and instead of partaking in all the things that make Mardi Gras worth dealing with the drunks, pick-pockets, rivulets of piss shimmering on the crowded streets, he’d rather take a lame Haunted Swamp Boat Tour. After completing final exams a group of college students head to Daytona Beach to celebrate Spring Break, with visions of sex and alcohol dancing in their heads. While crossing through Georgia, they are met with a crude detour that does not lead them to the land of beach, boobs and beer, but rather to the small town of Pleasant Valley. This little town seems to be frozen in time as there are no televisions, phones, running water or any other technological advances seen over the last 100 years. Even the inhabitants seem to be straight from a casting call of “Deliverance” with more inbred, racist hicks than you can shake a stick at. When they are informed that they are now the guests of honor at the annual Guts and Glory Jubilee celebration, complete with free room and board, food, extremely curvaceous females and more importantly, beer…how could they pass it up?
