Disabled Man Killed After Group Of Teens Push Him Into Path Of Vehicle

Dallas, TX – Two 14-year-olds have been arrested in connection to the murder of 61-year-old Sam Morris, a disabled man who was pushed into the path of a hit-and-run driver.
Detectives told Sam’s brother that Sam was attacked Saturday night by a group of teens as he walked home from a convenience store. The 61-year-old had diabetes and a limp, making an easy target for the teens who tried to rob him.
Sam tried fighting back by swinging his grocery bag at his attackers but got hit in the head and then killed by a hit-and-run driver after the teens pushed him into the street. Police found Sam unconscious in the road, but he died of his injuries on the way to hospital.
Police say they have arrested two 14-year-olds and are still looking for a 13-year-old and another 14-year-old. People who live in the are say the neighborhood is usually safe, but that teens roaming the streets at night have become a problem. Sam’s brother said the teens regularly harass the elderly in the neighborhood.…

NORTH BEND, WA – After a man broke into a couple’s home in Washington, he was stabbed to death by Tennyson Jacobson as he fought with the woman’s husband.
Police were called to the Jacobson home around 1:40 a.m. Monday after receiving 911 calls in reference to a possible home invasion. Kyle Jacobson told police he was at home with his wife, daughter and mother-in-law, when he heard his dog barking. He said that he got up to check on the dog and found a man standing in his hallway. I can only imagine what a nightmare situation that must have been for that guy, especially with his wife and young daughter in the home.
Jacob and the intruder began fighting and Jacob’s wife, Tennyson Jacobson, jumped into the fray to help her husband. Unfortunately for the intruder, the couple are both Crossfit trainers and Tennyson brought along a little friend – a knife she’d grabbed from the kitchen. Chicago, IL – A 14-year-old boy was pepper sprayed and robbed after he arranged a sexual encounter with 22-year-old Dareka Brooks.
On Wednesday, the teen had the house to himself and decided this was a perfect time to hire himself a prostitute. So he went online and used a website often frequented for people trying to setup sexual encounters, and met Brooks.
After agreeing to the terms of their meeting, Brooks showed up at his home and instructed the teen to go to the bedroom and take off his pants. Once the teen was nekkid, Brooks entered the room and slaughtered the kid’s boner by allegedly pepper spraying him in the face.
She then made off with an iPad, a jar full of money, and the teen’s piggybank. The teen called police to report the robbery and gave them the description of Brooks’ car. Police were able to locate Brooks at a local motel after she turned on the iPad. The stolen items were recovered and returned to the teen.
Dareka Brooks was arrested and has been charged with one count of armed robbery.…

Palatine, IL – Three teenage girls have been arrested and charged in connection with the assault of a 12-year-old boy with a ketchup bottle during a home invasion and robbery.
Last Wednesday night, a teenage girl went to the door of the boy’s apartment and claimed to be a friend of his sister. When the boy told the girl his sister was not home, the girl left.
The same girl returned 10 minutes later accompanied by three other teenage girls and asked to use the bathroom. The boy let them in the apartment and after he turned his back, one of the girls hit him in the back an empty glass ketchup bottle.
According to police, two of the girls then went into the kitchen and bedrooms, stealing $50, jewelry and two cell phones before leaving the apartment. Police were called after the boy’s sister returned home to find her brother injured.
He was taken to the hospital with multiple, non-life-threatening cuts, police said. The boy’s sister was able to identify the girls as former friends.…

New City, NY – Two homes listed on the interactive map of legal gun owners published by The Journal News have been broken into in the last week.
The most recent burglary happened on Wednesday when a man returned home to find someone had broken into his home and made off with jewelry and two safes. One of those safes contained two handguns and two handgun permits. This comes less than a week after a family in White Plains, NY had their home broken into by thieves who also made off with some jewelry and tried breaking into a gun safe.
Both of these homes were listed on an interactive map that contained the names, addresses and home locations of thousands of pistol permit holders licensed in Westchester and Rockland counties, New York. This very controversial map was compiled and published by The Journal News on Dec 23.
Police say that there is no correlation between the map and the two break-ins, stating that they feel the houses were targeted at random. “The burglary is still under investigation, and there are no facts to support this correlation at this time,” Clarkstown Sgt.…

Orlando, FL – A man in Orlando is facing murder charges after police say he stabbed a wheelchair-bound man to death while trying to rob them inside a McDonald’s.
Authorities say that on Christmas evening, 38-year-old Jerry Tyson walked into the McDonald’s and tried taking money out of the victim’s hand as they were paying for their food.
When the victim refused to let go of his cash, Tyson stabbed them multiple times with a butcher knife. He then ran from the store where another customer tried to hit Tyson with their car.
The attempt was unsuccessful and Tyson fled into some nearby woods. Police would later locate Tyson hiding behind a tree after bringing in a K-9 unit that would also bite Tyson in the leg. He was arrested and charged with second-degree murder, robbery and resisting an officer with violence.
The unidentified victim was taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center, where he died. Employees at the McDonald’s said both Tyson and the victim had come into the McDonald’s before and were known to the employees.
If a man in a wheelchair buying Christmas dinner in a Florida McDonald’s wasn’t depressing enough, get this: Tyson had only been out of prison for six days.…

Portland, OR – An 11-year-old boy has been accused of trying to carjack and rob a woman at gunpoint, and even returned to the scene of the crime as a news reporter was interviewing the victim.
On Saturday, 22-year-old Amy Garrett was sitting inside her truck in the parking lot of Freedom Foursquare Church waiting for her parents. That’s when she was approached by two boys, ages 11 and 7. The older boy told Garret that he had a gun and would shoot her if she did not give him her truck.
Garrett didn’t believe the boys at first, and refused to let them have her vehicle. That’s when the 7-year-old instructed the older boy to show her the gun. The 11-year-old then lifted his shirt and showed Garrett a handgun. Thinking it was fake, she asked the boy if it was real.

Chicago, IL – Here’s a story that is going to get some of you angry, especially Jaded. Police have released video footage of two men violently robbing an 86-year-old WWII vet in the lobby of his apartment building.
Police say the victim had just finished running some errands, including a stop at the bank, when a shuttle van dropped him off at his building.
As seen in the video, once inside, the elderly man is grabbed from behind and choked until he passes out. A second man then takes $500 hidden in the victim’s shoe. After searching the man, his attackers drop him on the floor, letting the door close on his head.
“This is one of those crimes that hits us at the pit of our stomach,” Chicago Police Officer John Mirabelli said.
The victim, who served in the South Pacific during World War II, was treated and released from the hospital. He said he is thankful for police and their continued efforts to capture these two men, and thankful all he lost that day was his money.…

Wolmer, TX – An 18-year-old in Texas has ensured a spot on one of those dumb criminal shows after he allegedly tried to rob a police officer while inside a police department.
Police say that on Saturday, Keithan Manuel walked into the lobby of the Wilmer Police Department and approached the dispatch window with a white towel covering his hands.
He pointed his towel-covered hands at the Communications Officer and demanded she give him all of her money. He then acted as if he was joking and said he was there to check on a warrant.
After giving the officer a fake name, he then switched back into dumbass mode and informed the officer that he really did have a gun. Tired of playing games, the officer called for backup who arrived and were able to take Manuel down at gunpoint.
Manuel, who did not have a weapon, was arrested and hit with several charges, including robbery. He is in the Dallas County Jail with a $200,000 bond, telling anyone who will listen that it was all a big misunderstanding and that people just don’t get his brand of humor.…

WEST COVINA, CA – Police in California are looking for two ninjas who chased after a man and stole his weed.
The man was on a “medical marijuana delivery” Friday night when he was approached by two men dressed as ninjas.
They began chasing after the man while wielding batons, causing the victim to drop his bag of pot and an undisclosed amount of money. The two ninjas picked up the items and disappeared in a puff of smoke fled on foot.

Vancouver, WA — A man accused of putting a bullet in his roommate’s head, after “accidentally” shooting him in the back of the neck, is apparently trying to convince police that he did so as an act of mercy.
Police say 19-year-old Matthew Starr was out target shooting with roommates Joshua Schenk and Zachary Mattson late last month, when, according to Starr, Mattson slipped and almost fell. Starr said Mattson grabbed him, causing him to stumble and accidentally fire off a round. The bullet struck 25-year-old Schenk in the back of the neck.
Starr reportedly told police he knew medical help was more than five minutes away, so instead of calling 911, he just went ahead and put Schenk out of his misery with a direct shot to the head. “Like you would a deer that was injured or suffering,” Starr told police.
Since dead guys have no need for cash, Starr allegedly swiped $300 from Schenk’s wallet. Starr and Matson then dragged Schenk’s body off the trail and covered it with a tarp, where it was found by a hiker two days later.…

HARTFORD, CT – On Friday, a jury sentenced Joshua Komisarjevsky to death for the murder of Jennifer Hawke-Petit and her two daughters, Hayley, 17, and Michaela, 11.
On July 22, 2007, Jennifer and Michaela were picking up groceries at a local supermarket unaware they had been targeted by two men, Steven Hayes and Joshua Komisarjevsky, who intended to follow them home and rob them.
Their plans changed once they made entry into the home and became unsatisfied with the money they found inside the home. After beating and tying William Petit up in the basement, the two men tied Jennifer and her daughters to their beds.
Eventually Hayes would take Jennifer to her bank and force her to withdraw $15,000 where Jennifer would inform the teller of her situation before leaving with Hayes. Back at the home, Komisarjevsky was sexually molesting Michaela and taking pictures of the assault with his phone. When Hayes returned to the home with Jennifer, he raped her in the living room before strangling her to death.

St. Charles, MO - Police have charged four men for the alleged kidnapping, beating, and torture of a 22-year-old man over a $520 debt. Just think what you could buy with that!
Brothers, Jeffrey Charles Wasser, 24, and Curtis Louis Wasser, 31, are said to have come to the victim’s residence late in the evening December 20 and to have forced him into an SUV. Once inside the front seat of the vehicle, the men bound the alleged victim – their cousin – with duct tape. The brothers then reportedly drove the victim to their residence while followed in a separate car by another local named Ryan Joseph Koenig, 24, and Christopher C. Lujan, 22. of Midland, Texas.
According to court documents, the victim was forced inside the residence, where he said the men bound him with even more duct tape and ‘threw him down the steps to the basement.’ Once in the suspects’ basement, the victim reported being beaten with the butt of a gun and tortured with ‘some sort of circular device with needles protruding from it.’ While this was going on, Jeffrey Wasser was reportedly demanding that the victim pay them $520 – the price the victim got for a shotgun he sold for Jeffrey Wasser and, presumably, never paid.…

Joliet, IL - Sarah A. Monroe, 27, was charged by police after allegedly mugging a Joliet area woman and later using her stolen credit cards in attempts to buy gasoline and sex toys.
Police say that Monroe pulled her car curbside in front of a bar just before midnight on December 14. She reportedly asked a 25-year-old woman who was smoking in front of the bar for a light. When the victim leaned into the Monroe’s vehicle to provide the requested light, Monroe was reported to have ‘grabbed the purse off [the victim's] arm and driven off.’
As one might imagine, this theft was not as smooth as that homogenized description might suggest. The victim was, in fact, dragged down the street, Joliet police said. The victim also suffered a chipped tooth during the heist.
After the incident was reported, police soon discovered that one of the victim’s credit cards was then used to pay for gasoline at a nearby gas station. Police reviewed surveillance video and recognized the woman buying the gas as Monroe.…

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK - An Oklahoma purse snatcher picked the wrong person to rob the other day after his victim chased his fatass down and got their purse back.
A woman was in the checkout lane of a Family Dollar when she noticed a large black man standing at the entrance watching her intensely. Most white women are already suspicious of black men staring at them in fear of being raped, but this particular guy was being so unnerving that even one of the employees asked if he needed help.

Aloha, OR — A crazy man was taken into custody this weekend after police say he broke into a couple’s home Christmas morning and attacked them with a Tiki torch.
The couple told police the kook, later identified as 28-year-old Matthew Zamora, found the unlit torch in their backyard, entered their home through the back door, walked into their bedroom and proceeded to whack.
“He hit me a half-dozen to a dozen times at least. I lost count,” said Aaron Kirchmann. “He was trying to hurt me. He was really trying.”
Deputies say Kirchmann grabbed a gun from the nightstand and pointed it at Zamora, and though the gun went off during the struggle, the only casualty was the bedroom wall. It was about then that Kirchmann’s wife Mindy reached for the shotgun she sleeps next to and ordered Zamora out of her home.
Zamora then fled to a bathroom in the home, where the Kirchmann’s held him until police arrived. The white-trash Santa was apparently wearing only underwear, socks and a bandana around his neck when he was arrested.…

Yeadon, PA — Police say four men who orchestrated an armed heist of a 13-year old’s meatball sandwich are now in custody. As a result, meatball sandwich brokers worldwide – who are often the target of organized meatball sandwich theft rings – are breathing a collective sigh of relief.
According to court documents, on Saturday night, the young man had just bought a meatball sandwich at a nearby deli. While on his way home, two men – possibly aware that the teen would be transporting a meatball sandwich – exited a black Ford Expedition and approached him.
One of the men, later identified as Rashawn Ameer Mallory, 21, (pictured) displayed a black revolver. The probable-cause affidavit quotes Mallory as telling the teen, “Whatever you do, don’t move,” and then adding, “If you do anything, I’ll cap you.” A second assailant, later identified as Ernest Wellington Barnett, 22, went through the teens pockets.
