LAKE GEORGE, NY – Police in New York have charged an 11-year-old girl with the beating death of her foster mother’s 13-week-old puppy after the girl got angry with the woman when she would not give her a ride.
The incident happened on Sunday, not long after the girl was placed in the home for an overnight stay, after the girl’s foster mother refused to give the girl a ride somewhere.
In response to being denied, the girl reportedly beat the woman’s 13-week-old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel to death by repeatedly slamming it against the floor and a bed post.
The girl was charged with aggravated cruelty to animals and criminal mischief. She can either be prosecuted, or placed in some kind of diversion program. So far, the Warren County Family Court has not commented on the case.
Of course, as most everyone who reads this site is aware, an 11-year-old killing a puppy in such a fashion and for the reasons given, is a definite indicator that this girl has some major issues.…

Hartlepool, UK - A UK court has jailed Gareth Francis Owen, 22, indefinitely after a judge branded him a danger to the public. Owen had been sentenced two weeks ago to five months incarceration for causing unnecessary suffering to his Labrador after admitting having sex with the dog. This additional sentence comes in response to Owen pleading guilty to added charges of making and possessing both “extreme” and “child” pornography.
Owen’s troubles began when he took his computer to a shop to be repaired. A call to the police led to the discovery of ‘indecent photos’ of children and a ‘sickening collection’ of bestiality pictures. Court records describe there being evidence of several ‘vile’ movies which had been deleted. In addition, Owen’s probation report described the defendant writing pornographic accounts involving explicit sexual activities between ‘adult males and Pokemon characters.’
When considering the charge of the assault on the dog, Prosecutor Lynne Dalton said Owen admitted having sexual relations with a number of family pets and horses from the age of 14.…

Bakersfield, CA — Two teenagers have been charged with animal cruelty after police say they attempted to bury a puppy alive by the side of the road.
Luckily, a woman witnessed the two boys, ages 15 and 17, hitting one of three puppies with a stick and then bury it in a hole they had dug on the side of the road. After calling 911, she went to confront the boys who ran away leaving all three puppies behind. The 8-week-old pit bull mix was able to free itself from its intended grave.
(Stupid kids. Everyone knows that in order to kill a pit bull you need bury it alive in hallowed ground accompanied by a priest and a lot of luck.)
The 17-year-old eventually returned to the scene and the 15-year-old showed up shortly after with a parent in tow. The parent stated they had no idea what the boys were up to, but after a little investigating it turns out the boys owned the puppies but decided to kill them because they were having problems discipling them.…
Continue ReadingColorado Springs, CO – I’m surprised that this story isn’t getting more play in the media. Last Thursday police arrested a man after he allegedly killed his girlfriend’s puppy after the couple had gotten into an argument. The woman told police that she left the homeAfter police responded to a possible domestic disturbance call after a woman called stating her boyfriend had intentionally killed her puppy. She told them that after arguing with 25-year-old Christopher Blackstone, she left their residence so that she could to cool off. During this time Blackstone continually texted her, but she ignored them. On Christmas Eve morning, he texted her and told her that had she answered her phone, her puppy would still be alive. She raced home and to her horror, found he was not kidding. The 3 to 5-month old puppy’s body was found in a nearby dumpster. Investigators say it looked as if Blackstone had repeatedly stomped on its head. Blackstone was arrested, charged with cruelty to animals, harassment and felony criminal mischief after he damaged a police car after kicking it.…
Continue ReadingMother Charged With Using Her Young Son To Help Steal Puppy From Pet Store
November 26, 2010 at 5:48 am by MorbidPALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. – A woman was charged with theft after trying to steal a puppy from a Florida pet store and to make matters worse, she used her young son to pull of the heist. Police say that on Wednesday, 33-year-old Jessica Marksz walked into the Petland store on Northlake Boulevard with her 9-year-old son. Surveillance video (which can be seen at the link) shows Marksz distracting store employees while her son walks out of the store with a puppy worth $1,500 stuffed inside his mother’s purse. Employees found the dog in the parking lot where they feel the pair got nervous and left it. Marksz was later arrested and charged with retail theft and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. This story is very similar to one we did last year involving a mother who was caught on video using her daughter to help steal a puppy, also valued at $1,500, from a California pet store. That article also stretched into four paragraphs because of my rambling about when I managed a pet store where baby African Grey parrots were mysteriously disappearing and why I gave away a Maltese puppy given to me by my wife.…
Continue ReadingIOWA CITY, Iowa — You know it’s a slow news day when I am reporting on the sentence handed to that idiot who got a puppy drunk last year. Maybe I should do a search on pit bull attacks. Anyway, 28-year-old Jared Colony was accused of encouraging a puppy to drink straight vodka he had poured into the dog’s water bowl back in October 2009. When the dog’s owner returned they found the 4-month-old Puggle named Pip, unresponsive, and barely breathing. “Pip’s just a little drunk right now,” Colony reportedly told the owner. Pip barely survived, spending two days at the vet in critical care. Colony was initially charged with animal abuse, a charge that could have gotten him two years, but has now agreed to plea guilty so he could get a 90-day jail sentence. He’ll also have to pay a $625 fine and nearly $2,500 to the dog’s owner.…
Continue ReadingMan Convicted Of Murder In Shooting Death Of Neighbor During Dispute Over Award Winning Lawn
October 18, 2010 at 1:07 pm by MorbidChicago, IL – The man who shot his neighbor for letting his puppy urinate on his lawn has been found guilty of second-degree murder. We posted about 69-year-old Charles Clements back in May of last year but for those of you too lazy to click a link, Clements was arrested after shooting his neighbor, 23-year-old Joshua Funches during a dispute over dog piss. Having repeatedly earned University Park’s lawn upkeep award, Clements was very protective of his lawn, often verbally harassing anyone who stepped near or on his grass. So when Funches’ puppy pissed on it, Clements wasn’t very happy. The two men got into a verbal confrontation that led to Clements pulling a gun to which Funches allegedly remarked, “Next time you pull out a pistol, why don’t you use it.” Clements then shot Funches in the gut, killing the father of two. Initially charged with 1st and 2nd-degree murder, the former marine was convicted of second-degree murder on Friday. He faces 20 years in prison with an option for probation when he is sentenced on Dec 21st.…
Continue ReadingSACRAMENTO, California – Not much to this story – even though I somehow got it to four paragraphs involving my work at pet stores and my beloved Xbox – just an example of someone in desperate need of a solid cunt punch. Video surveillance at Just Puppies captured a woman instructing a little girl to walk into a gated area the public is not allowed in, grab a Maltese puppy valued at $1500, and hand it to her. The woman then puts the puppy under her shirt and walks out of the store. Tom Klinger, the store’s owner, was not aware of the theft until he realized one of the two Maltese puppies he had was missing. He then reviewed the video and notified police. The woman with the young girl was accompanied by a woman holding a baby and from the video, it seems as if they were all involved with the Sunday theft. Not sure if it was a spur of the moment type of thing, or pre-planned, but I am going to agree with Tom.…
