CLEVELAND — The website of St. Andrews Presbyterian Church mentions their pastor’s “commitment and love of children.” But I’m pretty sure they had no idea just how creepy that comment would seem after Rev. Dr. Mark Griggs, 48, was arrested and charged with 112 counts that include downloading, trading and possessing child pornography. The pastor got snagged, along with 30 other people, in the latest investigation by the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force. Prosecutors say that Griggs downloaded, saved and traded images of children being sexually abused; using his home and church computers to do so. Grigg’s attorney says his client is no child pornographer and plans on fighting the charges. He claims that the poor pastor was simply using Limewire. “If you’re downloading files from Limewire, you don’t have any control of what’s coming into your computer,” Jay Milano says (*pulls up pants so the increasing levels of bullshit doesn’t get on them*). PHOENIX, Ariz. – Yesterday detectives arrested Don Underwood, a doctor of naturopathic medicine and a licensed acupuncturist, on seven counts of child molestation. The charges came after an employee of the doctor told police that her 9-year-old son told her about a “tickling game” he and Underwood played at his home while naked in bed. Detectives say Underwood has sort of admitted that he engaged in sexual conduct with a boy. “He hasn’t admitted anything that would rise to the level that he believes he committed a crime. He is specifying that what he did was for medical purposes and bonding purposes. He is somewhat in denial with our detectives right now.” Maricopa County Sheriff’s Lt. Brian Lee said. The doctor lived alone, but a said he’s seen kids at his house but thought they were Underwood’s. THOMASVILLE, N.C. – Back in February 42-year-old Scott Ring, a former Ledford High School science teacher, was charged with having sex with two of his students.
He is now being accused of posing as a teen girl and offering a teen money to let him blow him at a secret glory hole on campus. Police say Ring pretended to be a 17-year-old girl named Jennifer while having explicit online conversations with a 17-year-old boy.
He would send the teen nude photographs and request the same, eventually offering him money to meet at a secret glory hole location on campus. The teen’s mother found the messages on his phone and contacted police. Sgt. Mike Howard knew right away this wasn’t a girl because he is aware of the fact that chicks don’t have to pay for sex.
Howard requested all information attached to the AOL account “Jennifer” was using and received more than 300 pictures of male genitals. Ring readily admitted to 25 sexual encounters at the glory hole, which turned out to be a garage door with a hole in it, and is currently charged with five counts of felony sex offense with a student.…

HENNIKER, N.H. — A 73-year-old convicted pedophile was charged with touching a 10-year-old girl over the weekend told police he had abused hundreds of children and will continue to do if released. On Wednesday, John Esbensen was arraigned on a charge of aggravated felonious sexual after police say he touched a 10-year-old girl inappropriately while at the Hillsborough transfer station on Saturday. Hillsborough Police Capt. Darren Remillard said that when he interviewed Esbensen on Tuesday, he admitted he had abused hundreds of children. Esbensen, who has already served three years in prison for sexually assaulting two children in 1996, also stated that he wasn’t rehabilitated in prison and that the offender program “was a joke.” He added that he would molest children again if he were put in the position. “It’s something I have struggled with all my life,” he said. “I can smile and tell you that I’m cured, I’ll be good, I’ll be this, I’ll be that — but at the first opportunity I had, I would go right back to what I have always done.” So back off to jail he goes where he will hopefully die before molesting another kid.…

Rev. John M. Fiala, 52, met the teen back in 2007, often visiting him at his grandparent’s house. Authorities say he initially groomed the teen with gifts like a cell phone, MP3 player, and even cash for a car. In 2008 during a trip to a youth event, Fiala raped the teen at gunpoint in a motel room. Fiala then began abusing the teen twice a month, sometimes on church grounds, under the guise of private catechism lessons. Even though the boy was in his late teens, Fiala would keep him submissive and silent by threatening to harm his family or his girlfriend if he told anyone. Visalia, CA – Last Friday, parents of children attending Visalia elementary schools received phone calls of a recording informing them that a man has attempted to lure children into his car near two different, local schools. The man is described as being a dark complected Hispanic male wearing black wire rimmed glasses and between the ages of 30 and 40 driving a tan or beige four door sedan. The first attempt was on Oct 13, near Washington Elementary where he pulled up alongside a young girl at about 8am and asked her a question. She ran away after turning around and seeing that he was not wearing any pants. The next attempt near Royal Oaks Elementary wasn’t reported until last Wednesday when a man matching the same description allegedly pulled up alongside a young boy and asked him repeatedly if he wanted a ride to which the boy repeatedly declined before the man drove off. WAUSAU, Wis — A Wisconsin man has been charged with repeatedly raping a 9-year-old girl and to make matters worse, the girl’s mother knew it was happening. Police got involved after receiving a call from social services and the fact that a registered sex offender who lived in the home, Clyde McCollum, was bragging about being in love with the girl and told others that he was going to marry her. During their investigation it was revealed that Bryan Hearron, the boyfriend of the girl’s mother, had been repeatedly raping the child. “Bryan stated he was providing lessons to [the child] regarding bad things that could happen to her from sex offenders,” the criminal complaint reads. The girl told her mother Hearron had raped her in the bathroom but even knowing that and even walking in on him in bed with the girl, she did nothing. “She indicated she needed Bryan to live with her for support and also because she would not have enough money to live on her own without his help,” the complaint said.…

Montgomery, 52, has been accused of not only molesting a 7-year-old little girl on multiple occasions, he also gave her an STD in the process. After it was discovered that the girl had contracted genital herpes she was taken to Holly’s House, a shelter where victims of intimate sex crimes are interviewed by authorities. She told police Montgomery had touched her inappropriately and had her touch him in the same manner. Montgomery initially denied the accusations, but later told police he had given the girl a bath and then wrestled with her while she was naked — probably came up with that after they informed him of the STD thing. LAWRENCE, Kansas - Back in June, police began investigating a couple after two sisters ages 8 and 10, told their parents that a family friend, 32-year-old Donald L. Brown, had been raping them repeatedly over the last two years. He would eventually be charged with rape of a child under 14 years of age, three counts of aggravated criminal sodomy of a child under 14 years of age and two counts of aggravated indecent liberties with a child. But the investigation also revealed that his wife, 33-year-old Natasha M. Brown, was aware of what her husband was doing to the young girls and had deliberately exposed herself to one of them. She would be charged with two counts of aggravated endangering a child and one count of lewd and lascivious behavior. On Monday a jury found her guilty on those charges and she now faces probation or 17-months in prison for each count. Her husband’s trial will begin on Jan. 24, 2011, and I can’t wait.…

MENTOR, Ohio – It didn’t take long before another Walmart groping story to make headlines, this one from Ohio involving a man accused of groping two girls, ages 7 and 10. During some back to school shopping on Monday, a 7-year-old girl was with her father when she felt a man swipe his hand across her butt. She told her father she watched the man do the same thing to a 10-year-old girl in the store. The first victim’s father told the second victim’s mother what his daughter saw and the second girl confirmed it. The father of the seven-year-old followed the man, 49-year-old Kenneth Ray, into the parking lot and got his license plate number. Ray was arrested and charged with two counts of gross sexual imposition. Since the victims are under 13, these are felony charges. Ray is employed as a substitute janitor for the Willoughby-Eastlake School District but will not be allowed back until after the outcome of the investigation. KATY, Texas – Police have arrested a Katy Junior High science teacher, charging him with collecting and distributing child pornography after an investigation by the FBI’s Innocent Images Task Force. According to court papers, FBI agents found 40-year-old Justin Lewis was in possession of up to 20 videos and more than 100 images of children under the age of 12 being sexually violated by adults. He was using a peer-to-peer program to help distribute these images to others on the Internet. The married father of two young children is now facing five to 20 years in prison with a maximum life term of supervised release, a maximum fine of $250,000 and required registration as a sex offender. School officials told the media that Lewis is on administrative leave, but they do plan to fire him. “I want to kill him and strangle him,” said a neighbor. “I mean, my kids went there a lot to play.”…

A Lafourche Deputy assigned to the Lafourche Parish Detention Center has been arrested, accused of raping a six-year-old relative. The girl went to a teacher and told them that David Lewellen, 33, had been sexually assaulting her. After his arrest, investigators claim Lewellen confessed to the charges. Police also confiscated a computer from his home, explaining they had reason to suspect child pornography may also be involved. The ex-deputy is now sitting in the Saint John Parish jail on a $250,000 bond where I am sure he is real popular with the other inmates. If Lewellen is found guilty of raping the girl, he faces life in prison. They are not releasing the girl’s name, of course, nor her relation to Lewellen. Denver, Colorado – More details coming out in regards to the day care that was closed down earlier this month after a child reported one of the workers had touched them inappropriately. Court documents reveal that 19-year-old Benjamin Janicki has admitted to sexually assaulting at least 13 of the children at the Park Hill United Methodist Children’s Center where he worked for a couple of months. Most of the abuse occurred while the preshoolers were lying on mats. It is then that Janicki would “tickle” parts of the children’s bodies. One of the children told their parents about the abuse and they in turn notified police. Their investigation has led to the identification of three possible victims but they feel there are more and plan on interviewing at least 50 children. The Colorado Department of Human Services sent out licensed workers after the allegations were made and observed “significant supervision” issues. Significant enough to suspend the center’s operating license.
Some parents with children in the day care do not fault the owners as they scramble to find someone to watch their kids.…
Prisoner Punches Accused Child Molester In Face While In Courtroom

NEW BEDFORD, Mass. – A man charged with molesting his girlfriend’s 7-year-old-daughter got a possible glimpse of what his life will be like if he is convicted while standing before a judge on Thursday. While 24-year-old John Messieri was listening to his charges, a fellow prisoner in jail for burglary, 43-year-old William E. Reed, turned and punched Messieri in the face. Court officers jumped in and separated the two and escorted Reed out of the courtroom with some added assault and battery charges. Messieri was arrested after his girlfriend told police that she witnessed him touching her daughter inappropriately while tucking her in bed. The girl would tell investigators that he had done this on multiple occasions. Messieri was ultimately held on $50,000 cash bail and had his bail revoked from a previous suspended license charge. This means he’ll be spending the next 60 days in jail. I hope each of them are very long, accented with servings of tossed salads and knuckle sandwiches.…

Madera, Calif. – A California neighborhood got a nasty shock and realized why sometimes it pays to check out your neighbors, even if they look like harmless, old men. Police say they have arrested 82-year-old Douglas Machado, a registered sex offender, for allegedly molesting an 11-year-old girl over the course of the last few years. But that’s not the only person the nabbed at his home. Police also arrested his 31-year-old grandson, Charlie Brown, and accused him of molesting a 7-year-old boy and friend of the family. Machado was so trusted in the neighborhood, the other kids even hung around him and called him “grandpa”. “We should have known he was a sex offender,” neighbor Carson Farino stated. “If we have sex offenders living around here, I think everyone has the right to know.” Neighbors would have known this, had they checked out their state’s Megan’s law website. Chicago, Illinois – Cathleen Miller, 40, has been charged with molesting four teen boys while at parties at her home. Police say that Miller had intercourse with two of the teens, oral sex with a third and fondled a fourth between February and June during house parties where the boys were supplied drugs and alcohol. She has been charged with three counts of criminal sexual assault and one count of criminal sexual abuse. Police got involved after the parents of one of the boys saw a message he had wrote to Miller’s 14-year-old daughter’s via Facebook, apologizing for what she had seen when she walked in on him and her mom. The parents contacted police. When police began questioning her, Miller checked into a hospital claiming to be suicidal. Her sister then took custody of the 14-year-old and Miller’s two other kids, ages 3 and 10. Miller is not allowed contact with her eldest daughter since she witnessed the crimes she has been charged with. Miller, who is sitting in jail on a $900.000 bond, has denied any wrong-doing.…
