Rev. Cedric Cuthbert Accused Of Viewing Child Porn At Disney Resort

SANFORD, FL — Rev. Cedric Cuthbert, 49, was arrested Monday on child pornography charges after police say he was viewing child pornography on his computer while on the job at a Disney resort.
Police were first notified about Cuthbert’s actions after Disney contacted them in April after discovering that Cuthbert was trying to access blocked websites while at work at Disney World’s Port Orleans Resort. He was a housekeeping manager there for more than seven years.
Investigators said Cuthbert, a pastor at the St. James AME Church in Sanford, wrote sermons on the same computer he was using to look at young girls performing sex acts on YouTube. He was also accused of reaching out to some of these young ladies in an attempt to offer them guidance.
“you are so cute! Great sexy bodi! Send me a private vid,” he allegedly wrote to one girl. According to the arrest affidavit, semen was found in Cuthbert’s Disney office.
Cedric Cuthbert was arrested and charged with soliciting a child for unlawful sexual conduct and possession of a sexual performance by a child.…

Corona, CA - The pastor and two other men affiliated with a Heart of Worship Church in Corona, California have been charged of with kidnapping and torturing a boy as a form of discipline for bad behavior.
Pastor Lonnie Remmers, 54, Nick Craig, 22, and Darryll Jeter, 28 are all facing charges including kidnapping, criminal threats and assault.
According to police, the teen’s mother took him to a men’s group home group home operated by the church for intervention because she believed he had been involved in ‘sexual misconduct.’ Corona police said it was unclear if she knew how the men were planning to discipline her son.
Investigators say Remmers instructed Craig and Jeters, who lived at the home, to ‘scare the boy.’ Police said Craig and Jeter drove the teen about 100 miles to the Barstow desert, forced him to dig a grave, threw dirt on him, and beat him with a belt. The boy was then reportedly driven back to Remmers’ house where the pastor used a pair of pliers to inflict pain on the boy, police said.…

Bastrop, TX – Rick Bartlett, pastor of Bastrop Christian Church, was arrested Friday and charged with misdemeanor animal cruelty in connection with the abuse and death of his neighbor’s 12-year-old cat, Moody.
Bartlett reportedly told police he had been having problems with feral cats invading his garden lately and had trapped one in a cage on his property on January 15. He went on to say that he had placed the caged cat in the back of his pickup and promptly forgot about it. It wasn’t until three days later that he “remembered” the critter and headed down to the police station to hand it over.
An animal control officer at the station noticed a name tag including the phone number of the cat’s humans, Sarah and Eddy Bell, on the cat’s collar. The officer reportedly offered to take Moody back home, but police said Bartlett told them he’d take Moody back himself since the Bells were his neighbors.
Later that day, Moody’s body was found on the bank of the Colorado River, 40-50 feet below a bridge.…

Ferndale, MI - 43 year-old Steven Fitch died from a meth overdose at the home of a reverend he met on a gay dating website that day.
Reverend Mark Bidwell,52, is known to be gay, so that part isn’t a shock. What is shocking, though, is that Bidwell was the town’s police chaplain before this happened, having since been let go.

Henryetta, OK - A minister is facing charges after he allegedly expressed his desire to comfort a teenage girl with his rod and staff via a series of lewd text messages.
Joseph Monroe Leal, 36-years-old and pastor of Immanuel Baptist Church, has been charged with using technology to engage in sexual communication with a minor. The minor in question was only 14 when she met Leal at the Summit Church Camp back in 2009.
She says that initial conversations between the two were strictly on spiritual subjects, but by the next summer, the messages she was receiving from Leal started to turn sexual in nature. She started saving the messages this past spring after they became increasingly more explicit.
News outlets haven’t released any of the juicy contents of these texts, if they exist, but have mentioned some hilarious snippets that supposedly include Leal complimenting the teen’s body and admitting he felt guilty that his wife was home sick and all he could do was think of her “gorgeous face and smoking hot body.”
I’m not sure what’s the bigger crime here.…

Memphis, TN — Meet 50-year-old Ruth Shrader – she’s accused of repeatedly having sex with her teenage godson for the past two years, beginning when he was 15.
Shrader, a close friend of the boy’s family, is also an assistant pastor at the family’s former church and elementary school teacher.
The teen reportedly told police the sex was consensual and began when Shrader treated him to a massage. As the relationship progressed, Shrader reportedly showered the teen with gifts, cash and trips in exchange for nookie.
Charged last week with statutory rape by an authority figure, Shrader has since been released on $10,000 bail.
A Memphis City Schools spokesperson said Shrader is a teacher at A.B. Hill Elementary School, but the victim is not a student. Even so, Shrader is on unpaid leave pending the outcome of the investigation.

Fairview, Oklahoma — Tommy Pitts, the pastor at the Midway Assembly of God Church, is being held on a $1 million bail after being accused of raping his three adopted daughters who are between the ages of 6 and 12.
Police say the abuse had been going on for months, and was stopped by an observant wife who noticed something was not right in the house and did her own investigation. When she confronted her 51-year-old husband with her suspicions, he confessed to his crimes. She called police.
“We got a call from Mrs. Pitts,” Major County Sheriff Steven Randolph said. “She said that her husband was going to commit suicide. She said he just confessed to her that he had molested their three adopted daughters. We sent out two deputies to try to locate him. About 20 minutes after going out, we had a report that vehicle matching the description had hit semi south of Chester.”
Pitts had unsuccessfully tried to shoot himself before running his vehicle into an oncoming semi.…

CLEVELAND — The website of St. Andrews Presbyterian Church mentions their pastor’s “commitment and love of children.” But I’m pretty sure they had no idea just how creepy that comment would seem after Rev. Dr. Mark Griggs, 48, was arrested and charged with 112 counts that include downloading, trading and possessing child pornography. The pastor got snagged, along with 30 other people, in the latest investigation by the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force. Prosecutors say that Griggs downloaded, saved and traded images of children being sexually abused; using his home and church computers to do so. Grigg’s attorney says his client is no child pornographer and plans on fighting the charges. He claims that the poor pastor was simply using Limewire. “If you’re downloading files from Limewire, you don’t have any control of what’s coming into your computer,” Jay Milano says (*pulls up pants so the increasing levels of bullshit doesn’t get on them*). LADDONIA, MO. -- I learned of this story from one of our members after she made a Facebook comment about it. After doing a little checking this morning, it looked like enough material for a front page post. The pastor of Laddonia Christian Church is facing first degree assault of a law enforcement officer charges following a property dispute. Police say they arrived at the church Friday night to find pastor Ryan Finley Price, 53, pacing outside and holding a semi-automatic handgun. They found church member and law enforcement officer Noel Scott, 61, face down on the ground with serious neck and head injuries they say were caused by him being struck with a blunt object. Scott told police Price told him that if he moved, he’d kill him. Scott was life flighted to the university hospital in Columbia. Price was also charged with armed criminal action, felonious restraint and unlawful possession of a firearm. Pocono Township, PA – Here’s a story that I’m sure will show up on FORENSIC FILES or something similar in the near future. Back in 2008, Pastor Arthur Schirmer said his attempt at avoiding a deer is what caused him to slam his vehicle into a guard rail in an accident that would claim the life of his wife, Betty Schirmer. Police were initially skeptical, especially since paramedics said the crash was too minor to have caused Betty’s injuries, but their hinky meters were really set off when a few months later, Joseph Musante committed suicide in Schirmer’s church. Especially when they learn Schirmer was having an affair with Musante’s wife, who worked at the church. They also found out that his first wife had also died back in 1999 — from a fall down a flight of stairs. After doing a little more checking into his second wife’s death, and finding some drops of blood in the garage that hints at the fact that Betty was dead before she was even in the car crash, Schirmer was arrested and charged with murder and fabricating or tampering with physical evidence.…

CARSON, Calif. — A California pastor has been arrested and charged with having sex with a 14-year-old member of his congregation. Police say 44-year-old Leonel Pelayo, a pastor at Iglesia Apostolica Monte de Horeb in South Los Angeles, allegedly sexually assaulted the teen between July and August of this year. The pastor met the young girl in his church youth group, police accusing him of taking the girl to vacant buildings in the area to have sex with her. Pelayo has been charged with six felony counts, including lewd act upon a child and unlawful sexual intercourse. He’s looking at a possible four year prison sentence. FINLEY, Wash. – Here’s a story that has people pretty divided. News reports with headlines such as “Pastor slashes puppy’s throat” and “Pastor Admits To Killing Neighbor’s Puppy” have gotten animal dog lovers pretty riled up. The “puppy” in question was a 6-month old Siberian Husky. The dog had gotten loose, made its way on to Pastor David Rea’s property and was in the process of killing his chickens. When none of his neighbors would step in and help stop his livestock from being slaughtered, he jumped into the fray and killed the dog, reportedly with a knife. “Until you’re in there fighting a dog, you don’t know what to do,” said Rea, pastor of Tri-Cities Baptist Church. “You can’t even imagine. It’s a horribly bad deal.” This act has pissed off some neighbors and readers who are condemning what the man did to protect his property. During their investigation police learned that the suspect had also molested his oldest daughter who moved out of the house when she turned 18.
